Billys pov
I speed to Eddie's rage in my veins. Someone fucking hurt her! My fucking girl is hurt and traumatized right now! I get out the car and march to Eddie's door and twist it open. I find them in his room and she's on his lap hiding into his neck. The sight cracks my heart. I sit on their side "hey princess" I say softly and she looks at me and I take in the damage. Her face is bruising and her lip is split. I swallow my rage at the sight knowing she needs us. She leaves Eddie's arms for mine and I note she starts to cry and I mutter "I got you comet...it's okay" I question after she calms a bit "what happened baby?"

She leans back so I can see her fully and she wipes her eyes "my parents are home" I take her hand "careful with your cheek baby you'll hurt yourself" touching her cheek gently. She nods "they weren't happy I was out and they weren't happy I was with you two" she mutters. Good thing I don't give a fuck about her family's approval. "It turned into my father saying you'll end up like emerson and no one truly would like me" what the fuck?!

Eddie turns her face "we like you princess. Trust me we fuckin like you. I've been crushing on you for years now. Billys been wanting you for over a year" she blushes and nods "turned into a talk about emerson" I ask her gently "what'd he say?" "Said I have to drop the charges and admit I was lying because he thinks I am. And I said no...he hit me. And told me to do it because he works for Emerson's dad and that I can't get him fired. I said no. Steve came in and tried to shield me but he hit me again and Steve gave me the car Keys and I left" she says.

Steve actually tried to do the right thing. I tell her "you're not dropping those charges sweetheart. I don't care who your father works for. Emerson drugged you and admitted that he was going to rape you. He sent your naked pictures around the school. He deserves everything he's getting. Okay? And your father is a sack of shit. And I can't wait until I get my hands on him" she shakes her head "please don't. He'll just get you in trouble Billy. I can't lose you" I sigh and nod though I want to kick that assholes teeth in. I ask her "gonna let me clean that lip baby?"

She nods and I pick her up and head to the bathroom and ask Eddie "you mind letting her stay?" "Of course not man" he says. I clean her lip and put her in bed gently "get some rest" she nods and we head outside for a smoke "I didn't know what to do Billy. She came to me and I just...didn't know how to get her to talk, or to stop shaking and crying. She needed me and I didn't even know how to be there" he sighs.

I touch his shoulder "she just needed some time eddie. She had to take the time and remind herself that she's gonna be okay and that you won't hurt her and the dangers passed. You holding her and her not flipping shit was a good sign that she felt safe" he nods "how do you know that?" I never told him about Neil. The only people who know are max, Susan, and Halley. Halley's the first person I've actually told. "I'm the same way" I tell him taking a drag. He says "Billy..." I tell him "I'm fine. I'll live. But Halley won't. Not if it keeps happening. Her birthday is in a month or so. Halley is a pure soul and sensitive." He sighs "what do you suggest man?" "We get her the hell away from that place. She needs a safe and happy home eddie. She don't have that where she is. Her and Steve are on the rocks always, her dad comes home and hits her because she was assaulted and is pressing charges and getting justice and her mother just watched. She needs help" I inhale and he nods "yeah...but do you know how much a place is gonna cost us?" I tell him "I don't care. I never wanna see a mark on her face again. I'll sell my fuckin car if I gotta" he nods "operation save Halley" I nod "yes"
