Halley's pov I have billys head on my chest as he holds me and I run my fingers through his hair gently as he tells me about California. "You'd love it there baby...the beaches are beautiful...just like you" I blush and he says "you guys don't have beaches do you?" "Just lakes...we're not bordered by an ocean" I tell him and he nods "you gonna be a cop when you graduate?" "Yeah" I tell him and he chuckles "that's hot" I laugh "really?" "Yeah...can imagine it now...you lookin delectable in that uniform of theirs." He says. I chuckle "maybe"
"There's no maybe about it Darlin. You're gonna look so fuckin sexy with a badge and uniform on I'm gonna be forced to just break a law or two just so you can pull me over" he continues and I laugh. I ask "and you?" He asks "what?" "What do you wanna do after you graduate?" I ask him. He says "work on cars" sheepishly. I smile "there's nothing to be ashamed about Billy. A mechanic is a good job. Honestly I think we need more of em" he grins "you think so?" I nod "I know so"
Next day
I wake and Billy mutters "morning comet" I smile "morning Billy" I get out of bed making him groan and do the same. I tell him "if you want you and Eddie can keep clothes here there's more than enough room" nibbling at my lip. He pulls it away with his thumb "I'd love that" and kisses me and I pull him closer. He pulls away and says "I think Eddie's comin to pick you up. If he doesn't page me and let me know" I nod and he makes me look at him "no more of that tryin to walk shit okay? You're ours. You never gotta walk again" I nod "I'll let you know if Eddie comes or not" he nods and we kiss and he changes back into his clothes and comes back out in his own and he kisses me "see ya later comet" deciding to climb back out the window "careful Billy" I say popping my head out watching him climb down. He sends me a smile and a wave and goes to his car and leaves. I close the window jumping seeing Steve.
"You're with both of them?" He asks and I sigh "yeah" "and if one of them want something real and alone with you?" He asks and I reply "what we have is real Steve. I wouldn't be with them if it wasn't. And they're content just like I am" gathering my outfit for the day "and if Billy can't handle his rage and hurts you?" I glare "Billy would never lay his hands on me Steve. If all you're here to do is comment about my relationship and talk bad about them the door is right there" motioning to it.
"Cmon Halley how long do you think it'll last? Billys a man whore just like I was before Nancy. How long do you think he'd be willing to wait?" He asks and he sighs "I don't want what happened with Emerson to happen again Halley." "It won't" I tell him. He replies "it seems like history is repeating. Billy dethroned me. He's King Billy. Emerson was king at one point as well." "I think highschool royalty is stupid. I think that everyone who thinks it matters is stupid as well. Billy is nothing like Emerson. Nothing. You'd know that if you were there when Emerson and I happened. There's things that happened that you don't even know Steve. Billy is nothing like Emerson" I tell him.
"I know that Emerson used you. For a bet. He hurt you. You didn't show your face for weeks." He says. I huff "I was humiliated. He humiliated me and used me. He took photos of me and emailed them around the school. Didn't have my face in em but everyone knew who it was." "That was you?" He asks in shock and I chuckle "yeah. Who else would he have done that to? He drugged me at that party because he wanted to remind me who I belong to. He was pissed I was moving on. He was going to rape me. He said it himself. So don't try and say Billy is like him when billys the one who saved me. Billy cares about me and I know that's hard for you to wrap your head around because of your history with him but I don't care."
"You're my little sister and I just want to look out for you" he sighs. "You're too late. I don't need you now Steve. I needed you then. And you weren't there." I tell him. And I add "now if you'll excuse me I need to get ready" he nods and leaves and I shower and dress in

I head downstairs and see Eddie waiting awkwardly as Steve stares. He hops up with a smile "hey Hales!" I smile "Eddie" and we kiss softly. He asks "ready?" I nod "yeah!" And we head to school.
