Eddie's pov
I walk in the trailer seeing Wayne "where were you Eddie? You were out all night! Thought one of them kids might've done somethin!" I smile his way "I'm fine uncle Wayne. Promise" he asks again "where were you then?" "I...was with my girlfriend" I reply. He questions "girlfriend you have a girlfriend?" "She's also Billy's girlfriend but yes she's my girlfriend" I tell him.

"And you don't think she might be messing with you? Billy's uh...popular isn't he?" He asks worried. I nod "she's not like that Wayne. At all. She's the sweetest person you'll ever meet." Going in my room and I change and freshen up. "What about your crush on....what's her name again?" "Halley. And that's who I'm talking about Wayne. I got Halley Harrington to be my girl" I respond.

He smiles "I'm uh happy for you kid. Really. Haven't seen ya this happy since ya got that guitar of yours" I ask "wanna meet her she's outside in the car with Billy?" He says "only if she wants to you just got her eddie. Don't wanna scare her off with meeting your parental figure right away" he's right but my girl doesn't scare easy. I nod and head to the car and tap on the window. I kiss her having missed her and say "you wanna meet Wayne? You don't have to today if you're not ready or don't want to" she smiles "of course I'll meet Wayne" I grin and ask "billy wanna come in real quick?" He nods and I open her door for her and we walk in each of us holding a hand.

I say "hey Wayne" he looks up from his newspaper and smiles "you must be Halley!" She nods "yes. And you must be mr munson" he chuckles "oh call me Wayne. I feel like I know everythin to know about ya already eddie here doesn't shut up about you girl!" I blush "Wayne" scolding. He sees the bag Billy has "why don't you three eat here. Get comfortable" we sit at the table and Wayne says "you're that kid Steve's sister right?" "Yes" she replies awkwardly. He nods "how is that anyway? I've heard some things about that boy?" "It's okay I guess." She replies still awkward and I watch with a smile as she talks to him and often laughing as Billy splits the food between us.

Man she's perfect. Wayne says "I gotta get on up outta here. Behave and Eddie let me know the next time you're gonna have a sleepover" I nod mock saluting him and he leaves. I ask her "you okay?" She nods "yeah he's sweet" with a grin and she teases "so you talk about me to your uncle? Should I be flattered or worried?" I chuckle "flattered" Billy says as we eat "kids been crushing on you for forever now babe. Longer than I have that's for sure" she blushes "really?" "Halley you're the most beautiful girl this worlds got. We'd be stupid to not have a crush on you" I tell her gently. She blushes and gets flustered which is so fuckin cute.

"Eddie!" A voice says and she asks "who's that?" I smile "Dustin Henderson. One of my closest friends besides Billy of course" shooting the guy a wink and he rolls his eyes at me "yeah yeah yeah. Go answer the kid" I look to her and she nods to me "go ahead. If you want me to meet him then do so I don't mind" I decide not to. Not because I don't want her too. But she just met Wayne outta the blue I don't wanna dump meeting Dustin on her right now too and overwhelm her. She tends to get overwhelmed when around and or meeting too many new people at once or in a day. I kiss her gently "I'll be right back. Then I'm all yours for the rest of the day. Promise" she smiles "take your time Eddie no rush" I nod and kiss her again and go outside.
