TWENTY-EIGHT | THE VISION

"Olivia?" She hears her name called but it's not Vecna. It's a woman. "Olivia." The voice says again. It sounds a little weaker, but it sounds like whoever is saying it, is beckoning her to come. She opens the trailer door and she's not outside, but she's back in the lab.

"What's Nancy's favorite song?" Eddie asks. "Olivia? Oliv—Fuck!"

Everyone turns around.

"He's got her too." He panics. "Olivia come on sweetheart. Olivia wake up!" He shakes her. "I'm not going through this again Olivia you gotta snap out of this!"

When she walks into the lab, it's in total shambles. There are bodies and blood everywhere.

"Olivia." The voice calls out. She step over the bodies to try and follow the voice. She opens a door to see the room a complete mess. Tables and chairs are tossed everywhere, the walls have dents in them. But she has no idea what happened here. "Olivia." The voice strains from behind an overturned table.

Olivia goes over and sees who's been calling her name.

"D—Doctor Hathaway?"

"Olivia." She sighs. "You found me." Olivia rushes to her side to see blood pouring through her clothes but she doesn't know where it's coming from.

"What happened? Wh—who did this?"

"Number One. He did this. He killed everyone. Yo—you should have been here."

Tears well in Olivia's eyes.

"I'm sorry." Olivia props her up in her arms.

"If you had your powers you could have helped us. You could have saved us."

"I know." She cries. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you. You were so nice to me an—and I should have been here. Please don't go." She begs. "Don't leave me too."

"You could have saved me." Dr. Hathaway whispers before she takes her final breath.

"Doc? Dr. Hathaway?" Olivia shakes her. "Please come back. Please don't go." She lays the woman on the cold ground and looks down to see Hathaway's blood on her clothes.

Another person she couldn't save. Someone else died because of her.

She steps away from yet another dead body, her hands shaking in sadness and anger. She turns around to go out of the room and find One, now that she has her powers back. But when she opens the door, she ends up in a house.
