THIRTY-ONE | THE BEGINNING OF THE END PART 1
"We can't let him do this." Dustin panics.
"I know!"
"We have to get back up there!"
"I know! Shut up and let me think!"
Olivia paces through the trailer trying to figure out a way to save Eddie.
The two can hear more bats screech past. Olivia's breathing gets heavy.
She can't lose someone else. She can't be the reason why someone else dies because she didn't fully utilize her powers. The powers that she was given. She has them for a reason, now she has to use them.
She ignites her hands and points them to the floor.
"What are you doing?"
"Shut up! I need to concentrate." Olivia slows her breathing down and focuses on her emotions. She uses the air to push herself off of the ground.
"Liv..."
"Quiet." She feels herself getting higher and higher off the ground and she goes through the gate and back into the Upside Down.
"You can fucking fly!" Dustin screams happily.
"I can fucking fly." She confirms with a wink.
"Go get our boy."
Olivia nods and burns through the top of the trailer. She flies through and floats in the air above. She sees the mass of bats and goes in that direction. Eddie in the middle of it, with bats swarming all around him as he tries to fight them off.
She shoots a couple of them down to scare them away for a short time before landing on the ground next to Eddie.
"H—how did you get here?" He asks.
"I can fly." She shrugs.
"Let's do this." Eddie smirks. The two arm themselves as the bats come back around. They stand back to back and fight off the bats.
Eddie is stabbing them as they fly around them and uses his nail ridden trash can top as a shield. Olivia is throwing fire balls left and right.
"I have an idea." Olivia says. "When I tell you to, duck." Eddie nods.
Olivia gathers enough heat and uses the same air that she used to fly to create a small fiery tornado.
