TWELVE | THINGS CHANGE, PEOPLE CHANGE
"Hey Heather." Olivia greets at the pool.
"Olivia. Hi. Are you looking for Billy?" She nods. "I think I saw him head into the storage room."
"Thanks." Olivia searches for the storage room and opens the door to see Billy's back towards her.
"Billy? I waited for you last night. Where were you? You didn't call me or anything you just left me hanging. I—I was worried." He says nothing, his back is still towards her. "Billy? Billy are you listening to me? Look if you changed your mind about us, just tell me." Still nothing. "Billy? Billy! Talk to me!" She touches his shoulder and quickly turns around and slams her against the shelves.
"Leave me alone Olivia." He says.
"Wait what? Billy, I don't understand."
"I'm telling you to stay away from me."
"Are—Are you breaking up with me?"
"Yes." He says. He lets her go.
"Why? Why Billy?" He says nothing and keeps walking. "Why? Why? Billy!" She cries. She slides down the shelves as tears fall from her eyes and her body heats up with anger and sadness.
"Hey. Are you alright?" Heather asks coming in. Olivia shakes her head. "Do you want me to get Billy?"
"No!" She yells quickly. "Just... just forget it." Olivia rushes out of the storage room. Heather looks down and notices weird marks on the ground.

"Hi Susan." Olivia says when she gets to Billy's.
"Billy isn't home." She says.
"I know. Actually I'm looking for Max. Is she uh home?"
"No. She left with her friend."
"Friend?" Olivia asks.
"Yeah. A little girl. Short hair." El.
"Right. I'll find them."
"You should try Starcourt. She spends a lot of time there."
"Thank you."
"Is everything alright sweetheart?"
"I don't know Susan." She says with tears welling in her eyes. "I have no fucking idea." She gets in her car and goes to Starcourt.
