Chapter Twelve

“I would rather not.” I say as I push against him and step back away from him.
“Asmodeus is going to have fun with you.” He says with a laugh.
“I am the Goddess of War, what are you?” I ask him with a frown.
“I am Belphegor, Sin of Sloth.” He says with a small smile.
“How many of you are there?” I ask him.
“I am not allowed to tell you; our leader will be coming to visit soon. Be on your best behavior he is not a patient man.” He says with a laugh and vanishes, I feel my muscles loosen and I almost fall to the floor I turn to look at the three, they reflect my own concern back at me.
“Why did you make me stay?” Cu Chulainn asks me angrily.
“He can kill you.” I say as I frown in thought. “We need to go see Vhaanth.” I say to them and they nod. “Come here.” I say as my frown deepens and I feel them touch me and we vanish. Vhaanth’s room appears around us, I look up at him and I can see he already knows. “Creation told you?” I ask him and he nods.
“Her twin has gotten stronger; she has never been able to make something that strong before.” Vhaanth says angrily. “May I see the memory?” He asks me.
“Yes, I think that would be best.” I say as I walk to him and touch his temple, I see his anger grow in his eyes.
“Why is the leader coming to visit you?” He asks me with a frown, I see his eyes glow in a strange way and I see annoyance in him. “Creation says it is because you are the strongest God, so they see you as the leader.” He says annoyed.
“She is also the oldest.” Cu Chulainn says to him, Vhaanth nods at him.
“How are your demigods coming along in learning?” Vhaanth asks me with a frown.
“They have almost perfected the dance.” I say with a smile.
“Dance?” He frowns at me.
“Allow us to show you?” I ask him and he nods, we vanish back to the arena he moves to the side.
“All of us at the same time?” Macha asks me and I nod, all three summon weapons and I feel my swords appear, all three come at me at the same time and I fall into the dance with war.
“Morrigan.” I hear Vhaanth say and we stop at the same time, I walk to him and I see a strange look in his eyes. “Where did you learn that?” He asks me with a frown.
“New ability I can teach others the moves of it, it keeps the body moving at all times to avoid being hit. But it does not waste stamina, if you are surrounded by enemies every cut of the blade will take a life while keeping the rest of you in motion.” I say with a frown.
“If Morrigu had that when I fought her, I do not think I would have survived. Since I know the weakness of your abilities, but that does not work during that.” Vhaanth says with a frown.
“I know Cu Chulainn tried.” I say with a laugh.
“Seems Creation has done her best to make sure you are not able to be killed this time.” He says quietly. “Fear is still your greatest weakness.” He says as he frowns down at me.
“Fear? Good to know.” I hear a man’s voice; I turn to see a man with black hair and silver eyes walking towards us with a grin.
“Who are you?” Vhaanth asks angrily.
“I prefer not to talk to second in command.” He says as he glares at Vhaanth, I feel magic rise in Vhaanth the man watches him, Vhaanth unleashes it on the man and he waves it off with a grin. “Best you can do, Death?” He asks him as he continues walking toward us, I feel the demigods tensing to attack.
“Vhaanth, take my demigods to the palace.” I say to him, he frowns down at me and nods, I feel them vanish as I watch the man, he reminds me of Garvit. “Pride I am guessing?” I ask him and he laughs.
“You are very observant, War.” He says as he stops in front of me. “Though I am still trying to figure out why Creation has two of you in play, she should just get rid of the weaker one.” He says with a smile, I feel rage ignite in me.
“He is strong enough.” I say angrily as I glare at him.
“Seems I have touched a nerve.” He says with a laugh. “We can either go to War, or we can live peacefully. That is up to you.” He says as he watches me.
“What is expected for us to live in peace?” I ask him with a glare.
“Overlook what we do, no matter what it is. If you agree the Fomorians will not come.” He says with a smile.
“What is it you would be doing that I would need to overlook?” I ask him as I cross my arms.
“A little destruction, loss of some lives. We need to make our own place to live, and we do not appreciate having the pesky maggots you call humans where we intend to live.” He says as he glares down at me.
“Why not let me move them?” I ask him.
“Because our worshippers need to eat.” He says with a grin.
“The creatures?” I ask him angrily.
“Yes, how did you like that little magic I put on the Drowned? I made it just for you.” He says with a smile.
“I did not like it since it led to a God being able to capture me.” I say angrily.
“I know I enjoyed watching the cruelty he was able to achieve, truly a mastermind that Obsession.” He says with a laugh, I feel rage rise to a new height in me as I punch him, he falls to the ground and grins at me as he stands. “I hope you know Pride takes offense to such things and feels the need to repay in kind.” He says as he dusts off his clothes and pain shoots through my face as I hit the ground, Macha, Babd, and Cu Chulainn appear in front of me. “Seems they feel your pain, and come when it happens.” He says with a smile as he watches them.
“Go back to the palace.” I say angrily as I stand.
“Morrigan, I have to refuse.” Cu Chulainn says angrily as he looks back at me.
“Leave.” I say letting the order bind them, Macha and Babd vanish, Cu Chulainn glares at me defiantly.
“This one needs a little more training.” Pride says with a laugh, I touch Cu Chulainn and he vanishes. “Very protective of you, it is adorable.” He says as he smiles down at me. “Do you agree to the terms?” He asks me.
“Agree.”
No! I cannot let humans die like that!
“Agree now.”
I feel her words bind me like the demigod magic, I glare at him as I fight it. “You seem to be having issues with your creator.” He says as an eyebrow raises as he watches me.
“She wants to me to agree.” I say angrily.
“You do not want to?” He asks me with a smirk.
“No, I cannot stand by while humans die.” I say as I glare at him.
“I promise it will be a quick death.” He says with a laugh. “I think I may visit more often; you are quite entertaining. I know Asmodeus is going to have fun with you.” He says as a malicious grin comes over his face as he looks down at me.
“I would rather he stay away.” I say angrily.
“He cannot stay away from beautiful things.” He says with a laugh and vanishes, I vanish and the throne room appears around me. I glare at the three demigods as Macha and Babd look at the ground and Cu Chulainn glares back at me.
“Do not appear again while I am talking to Carnage’s creations again.” I say angrily as I feel my words bind them.
“We felt pain!” Cu Chulainn yells angrily at me.
“Payback for what I did to him.” I say angrily. “We are in agreement with them not to go to war. Do not attack them.” I say angrily feeling the wings appear behind me, and I start to pace as anger takes over.
“How can you make peace with them?” Cu Chulainn asks me angrily.
“I didn’t Creation did.” I say angrily.
“Well at least you agree with me.” He says quietly.
“Yes, I do, I want them all dead. The one I was just talking to is the most powerful, he can end you three with little effort, do not go anywhere near him.” I say angrily.
“Could you beat him, Goddess Morrigan?” Macha asks me with a frown.
“Yes, I could, though it would be a fight that I would not walk away from.” I say quietly. “I want you three to stay here, I am going out.” I say with a frown. “If anymore show tell me through the link.” I say to them, and they nod, I vanish to the roof of the palace. I gather magic and send it out across the world looking for Carnage’s Gods, I feel them gathered together near Morrigu’s home. I vanish and turn into the crow. I fly above the small mountain, and fly towards them.
I start to see creatures on the ground walking around in the forest below me, before a large castle comes into view, the building reaches the clouds above. I feel magic from Carnage’s Gods around me as I fly closer, I see someone appear on one of the balconies of the towers watching me. I fly closer to see it is Pride watching me, with an amused look on his face, I land on the stone railing in front of him.
“Miss me already?” He asks with a grin.
“Do not delude yourself. I want to make my own part of our agreement.” I say to him, the amused look creeps onto his face again.
“What is it?” He asks me.
“Do not attack any of the villages around any of the Gods cities and do not attack the Gods cities. Keep all your creatures away from us.” I say to him.
“I agree, that way you will be killing less of them.” He says with a laugh. “Would you like a tour of the castle and to meet the rest of us?” He asks me with a smile.
“Will my safety be guaranteed?” I ask him angrily.
“Yes, I will keep you safe.” He says with a grin, I change and slide off the railing.
“Have someone open some windows, I like having a quick escape.” I say as I frown at him and he smiles as he offers his arm to me, I take it and we vanish. A throne room appears around us; I see one very large throne with nine smaller ones on each side of the large one. I hear men talking and I turn to see eighteen men with their backs to us talking quietly to each other.
“Pay attention.” Pride says to them and they all turn as one and look at me. “She is visiting, behave.” He says with a smile.
“May we introduce ourselves?” A man with blonde hair and purple eyes asks as he watches me with a grin.
“Asmodeus.” I say angrily and he giggles.
“She knows my name.” He says as he walks over to me, I glare at him as I watch him. “Keep looking at me like that and I just might fall in love.” He says with a wink.
“There is a God just like you, I killed him when I ascended because he liked to chase after me. You will get the same treatment if you try.” I say angrily as I glare at him.
“She is going to be fun; I can already tell. Who knew War could be so beautiful?” He says as he smiles at me.
“You have been introduced, move.” Pride says to him angrily, Asmodeus gives him a frown and walks away. A woman with white hair and eyes walks up to us, with a frown. “This is Python, it is best if I introduce you. Everything she says is a lie and it can be annoying. She is Carnage’s favorite.” Pride says annoyed as he glares at her, she laughs and walks away. A man with red hair and green eyes walks over to us with a small smile.
“I am Beelzebub. Nice to meet you, Morrigan.” He says with a small bow and walks away. A man with blonde hair and red eyes walks over to us with a glare at Pride.
“I am Sathanas.” He says annoyed as he frowns down at me. “Are you sure she is the strongest one? She doesn’t seem that great to me.” He asks Pride as he watches me.
“I would be happy to show you just how strong I am.” I say as I glare at him, and he gives me a small smile before walking away. A man walks to us with black hair and green eyes, Envy.
“Envy.” I say to him with a smirk, and he laughs.
“Yes, my name is Leviathan.” He says with a smile. “God like me?” He asks me.
“Yes, Avaya she is a strange one.” I say with a smile.
“Maybe you could introduce us, I promise to be good.” He says with a smirk and walks away. A man with white hair with gold and silver tinges in it walks towards me watching me with gold eyes, Greed.
“I know you as well, Greed.” I say with a small smile.
“A god like me as well?” He asks with a frown.
“Yes, Lumen.” I say to him.
“I am Mammon.” He says with a small smile and walks away. A man with white hair and black eyes walks over to us and frowns down at me.
“Astaroth.” He says angrily, and walks away.
“He is not the friendliest of us.” Pride says with a grin down at me. A man with shaggy black hair with blonde tinges walks over to us and looks down at me with red eyes with a smirk on his face.
“Berith, nice to meet you Morrigan.” He says as he takes my hand and kisses the back of it as he winks at me, I frown at him as I watch him walk away. A man with black hair that falls to his shoulders and yellow eyes walks towards me, he feels familiar and he smiles at me as he walks up to and offers his hand.
“I am Aamon, I am War.” He says quietly as he watches me, I take his hand and he kiss the back of my hand. “You are quite interesting.” He says with a smile.
“I feel like I have seen you before.” I say with a frown.
“I have the same feeling.” He says with a smile and walks away.
“The others are not in the mood to be social, allow me to show you the castle.” Pride says to me with a small smile, he leads me out of the room and through the halls. I see Baobhan walking through the halls as he escorts me, they glare at me when they see me.
“Just how many of those things exist?” I ask him angrily as I glare at one as she glares at me as she walks past us.
“More than you can handle at one time.” Pride says with a laugh.
“I do not like them.” I say angrily.
“They do not like you either, you killed their leader.” He says with a grin down at me.
“She shouldn’t have been preying on humans.” I say with a glare up at him and he laughs.
Where are you?
Not now, I will be back soon.
Morrigan, I cannot sense where you are. Where are you?
“Your hound is barking.” Pride says to me pulling me out of connection.
“He worries, he cannot sense where I am.” I say with a frown. “Where did all of you come from?” I ask him.
“We were made in another world and spent thousands of years gaining power to come to this world where Carnage lives.” He says with a smile.
“Why?” I ask him.
“To be close to our creator, wouldn’t you do the same?” He asks me with a frown.
“She is irritating, vague, and unhelpful. She also does not warn me when I am in trouble.” I say angrily, and he laughs.
“Ours is more forthcoming with information. She wants us to succeed.” He says with a smile.
“Succeed in what?” I ask him.
“Surviving.” He says with a smile as I hear a door open, I look ahead of us to see a large black double door opening.
“What is in there?” I ask him with a frown.
“My room.” He says with a smile.
“I can do without seeing that.” I say as I pull away from him, and he grins at me.
“Obsession has a lasting effect, I see.” He says as he watches me, and I glare at him.
“I have seen all I need to, thank you for your hospitality and agreeing to my terms.” I say as I turn to walk away, I start walking down the hallway when everything goes dark around me.
“Why not stay and talk more?” I hear him whisper in my ear as I feel his hands on my waist.
“I will attack you; I think it fair to warn you first.” I say angrily.
“You have trust issues.” He whispers in my ear with a small laugh.
“You can thank your magic for rooting that deep in me.” I say angrily as my swords appear, I see red eyes appearing the darkness ahead of me as I feel his hands slide up. I unleash my anger letting my eyes glow and the wings appear the feathers fall around me causing the darkness to fade around me. I turn and glare at him. “I am leaving one way or the other.” My voice echoes through the castle and he grins at me.
“I was hoping to see this, it is easier than I thought to get you to summon it.” Pride says as his grin widens. “You may go, my curiosity has been satisfied.” He says with a laugh as the darkness vanishes around me and he turns to walk towards the black doors. I turn and walk through the halls watching the Baobhan back away from me. Aamon runs up beside me with a smile.
“I see he has made you angry.” Aamon says as he walks with me.
“I do not like to be touched.” I say as I glare at the Baobhan.
“He did it because we have been told a lot of things about you from Carnage. We are mostly very curious of what you are capable of.” He says as he smiles down at me.
“All he had to do is ask.” I say as I walk down the stairs towards the entrance.
“Pride does not ask. Is it true you can turn into a crow?” He asks as he opens the doors for me, I frown up at him.
“You and I are on opposite sides; I am allowing this peace to happen because my creator made me agree. Why are you trying to be friendly?” I ask him.
“Never hurts to try to make a friend if you can.” He says with a laugh.
“Yes, I can turn into a crow, now I need to leave I have a kingdom to run.” I say to him and vanish, the throne room appears around me and I see Cu Chulainn’s glare as I sit on the throne.
“Where were you?” He asks me.
“In the Carnage Gods castle, getting information and adding a part to our agreement of peace.” I say angrily as I lean back.
“How many are there?” He asks me.
“Nineteen I didn’t get to meet all of them. The castle is crawling with Baobhan, the area surrounding the castle is full of creatures of all types. I saw ones I have never seen before out there.” I say quietly.
“What happened that made you angry?” He asks me.
“Pride acted like he was not going to let me go and touched me. He only did it to see what happens when I let anger take over.” I say annoyed, I feel someone appear in the throne room I look over and I see Theros holding dresses I had made for the demigods with a grin on his face.
Macha, Babd come to the throne room.
I see them appear in front of me. “Go get your dresses and help each other put them on.” I say to them and they look over and grin as they run to Theros.
“You had dresses made for them too?” Cu Chulainn says with a laugh.
“Yes, they could use the protection, and they love the way mine looks.” I say with a laugh.
“What was the added agreement?” He asks me as Theros walks over to us.
“No creatures anywhere near the towns or cities near God’s mansions.” I say to him and he nods.
“Did they agree to it?” He asks me.
“Yes.” I say as Theros frowns.
“Who are you talking about?” He asks us.
“Carnage made her own Gods.” I say annoyed. “I have been meeting with them, we agreed on peace based on terms.” I say as I glare at the ceiling.
“I wonder if they will come to my summer festival.” Theros says with a frown, I look down at him with a frown.
“Is that all you think about?” I ask him and he grins at me.
“Are there any female Gods?” He asks me.
“Only one that I saw, and she only tells lies.” I say annoyed.
“Sounds like my type of woman.” Theros says with a laugh, and Cu Chulainn and I laugh.
“You are so weird, Theros.” I say as I laugh harder. “I have been thinking about creating a meeting between all of us and them. But I want to wait until all the Gods are back, even though I know it might bite me in butt.” I say with a frown.
“Why?” Theros asks me with a smile.
“They have an Emnos of their own.” I say as I glare at him.
“Asmodeus?” Cu Chulainn asks me angrily.
“Yes. I do not like him.” I say with a frown. “What are the knights doing?” I ask Cu Chulainn.
“They are currently in the city helping people rebuild the economy.” He says with a grin.
“Where is Richard?” I ask him with a smile.
“In his office, do you need him?” He asks me.
“Yes, fetch him for me please.” I say to him and he vanishes.
“I see you got him back again.” Theros says with a grin.
“I could not help myself, he is great in bed.” I say with a laugh, Theros laughs hysterically.
“I think I am a bad influence on you, Morrigan.” He says with a grin.
“We talked things over, though he has orders that keeps him from repeating his mistakes.” I say with a smile.
“Good you are happier with him around.” Theros says as he grins at me.
“He disarms me.” I say with a frown as he reappears with Richard, his hair is graying and he has wrinkles on his face, I frown as I look at him.
“You needed me, Morrigan?” Richard asks me with a grin. “By the way that is amazing, I wish I could travel like that all the time.” He says with a laugh.
“Sadly, it makes you less patient. Is there anything I need to address regarding the kingdom?” I ask him.
“Not at the moment, merchants are coming tomorrow to make deals if you wanted to sit in for that.” He says with a frown.
“No, I trust you to handle that efficiently just like you have everything else.” I say with a smile and he grins at me.
“Thank you, Morrigan. For the compliment and your trust.” He says with a bow.
“I will allow the bow just this once.” I say with a smile. “Take him back to his office so he doesn’t have to walk back.” I say to Cu Chulainn and Richard bounces in excitement, I watch them vanish.
“I am glad he has that effect on you, Morrigan. You need it.” Theros says with a smile.
“How long until the next festival?” I ask him.
“About six more months.” He says as he frowns with thought, Macha and Babd appear in front of me with grins on their faces, one dress is gray with silver embroidered pieces like mine the other is black with all gold embroidered pieces, I smile as I look at the dresses.
“Tell Yara I said thank you, they are perfect.” I say with a smile as I examine the dresses.
“I will, I have to agree they are perfect.” Theros says with a grin, as Cu Chulainn appears beside them, he looks over at their dresses and smiles.
“Now there are three.” He says with a laugh.
“Only one you can touch.” I say as I frown at him.
“Only one I want to touch.” He says as he grins at me, and I laugh as I feel someone appear in the room, I look over to see purple eyes watching me.
Vanish Macha and Babd.
They vanish, Theros looks over to where I am glaring and Asmodeus smiles at him as he walks over to us.
“Behave Cu Chulainn.” I say to him as Asmodeus stops beside Theros.
“He is a very angry man.” Asmodeus says as he smiles at Cu Chulainn.
“Hi, I am Theros God of Summer.” Theros says with a grin at him.
“Hello, I am Asmodeus Sin of Lust.” He says with a wink at Theros.
“I have a festival every year, I think you would enjoy it.” Theros says to him as his grin widens.
“Really?” Asmodeus says with a laugh.
“Yes, all the women wear tiny outfits and get in water.” Theros says with a laugh.
“I think I have found a friend.” Asmodeus says as he grins at Theros.
“As long as you are nice to Morrigan, and do not try to steal her from me.” Theros says with a wink.
“I think I can manage to restrain myself.” Asmodeus says as he smiles at me. “Though with that look she gives me, I think I will not be able to keep her off me.” He says with a laugh, as he motions to my glare.
“Yeah, she does that a lot.” Theros says as he grins at me.
“What did you need, Asmodeus?” I ask him as I give him an annoyed look.
“I missed you.” He says with a grin.
“Go home.” I say annoyed.
“It is time for you to sleep, Morrigan.” Cu Chulainn says to me as he frowns at me.
“I am getting tired of getting tired.” I say angrily to him and he smiles at me.
“A God that needs to sleep, interesting.” Asmodeus says as he watches me with a smirk.
“Go home.” I say angrily to him as I stand and sway on my feet, Cu Chulainn grabs me with a frown.
You should not be this tired, something might be wrong.
Take me to bed, and then make sure he leaves.

We vanish and he lays me down on the bed and covers me up and vanishes again, I close my eyes and fall asleep.
I wake up and open my eyes to see it is still night, the magic inside me is fluttering. I look over to see Cu Chulainn sleeping, I get off the bed and walk over to the door and open it. All the hallways are dark, the candles have been snuffed out, I frown as I walk into the hallway and look both ways. The castle is completely silent, I walk through the hallways feeling the human lives around me as they sleep. A scent creeps towards me down the hallway, it smells like vanilla and cinnamon, I breathe it in deeply enjoying the smell of it as I follow it. I feel the magic flutter more inside me as I walk down the hallway closer to the source, I summon my swords as I turn the corner. No one is there, I frown as I walk closer to the source of the scent, I feel hands wrap around me, I turn to attack but no one is there. I turn back to follow the source as the feeling returns, the scent has an effect similar to Emnos’ but I am able to ignore the feelings from the hands touching me. I walk down the stairs watching for any sign of movement in the darkness.
“You have not called your guard dog.” A voice whispers all around me.
“I can take care of you myself.” I say with a smile.
“This is just foreplay; I have not shown you how strong it can be.” The voice whispers.
“Why don’t you show yourself and we can have my version of fun.” I say as I look around as I walk off the last step.
“As tempting as the offer is, I prefer not to have a sword in me.” The voice whispers as it laughs.
“Why are you here?” I ask as I walk down the hallway with my swords up, the hands still groping me all over making me angrier.
“To see if you are capable of being lured, you did not disappoint.” The voice whispers closer, I close my eyes and spread my magic around me until I feel a movement, I throw my sword at it as I open my eyes. Asmodeus appears with an arm pinned to the wall by the sword, he grins at me. “You are quite fun.” He says as he vanishes, I call the sword to me and its flies into my hand, the scent and the hands vanish as my swords vanish. I send out a pulse of magic to check for any other visitors, waking up all three demigods, they appear behind me and I turn to look at them.
“Go back to sleep.” I say to them with a frown.
“Why were you checking the palace?” Macha asks me with a frown.
“I had a visitor, I wanted to make sure he was gone and no others were here.” I say angrily.
“Who?” Cu Chulainn asks me angrily.
“Who do you think?” I ask as I glare at him, and I feel rage appear inside him. “He was deterred by the sword skewering his arm.” I say as I walk past them down the hallway letting my anger run loose through me. I feel Macha and Babd vanish and I hear Cu Chulainn running to catch up to me.
“What are you doing?” He asks me with a frown as he looks down at me.
“Walking, go to sleep.” I say to him as I continue following the hallway.
“Come to bed with me and I will.” He says with a smile.
“Walking helps with anger.” I say as I stop and frown at him.
“I also help with anger.” He says with a grin as he wraps his arms around me and I laugh. “See it is working already.” He says as we vanish and our room appears around us.
“How long have we been awake?” I ask him with a frown.
“Do you have trouble with time?” He asks me with concern on his face.
“Yes, unless I actively pay attention to when the sun rises. I do not know if a day has passed or not.” I say angrily. “I noticed Richard looked older, earlier.” I say with a frown.
“We have been awake for thirty years so far, Richard is looking at retiring as soon as he can find a replacement. The Gods have been bringing in goods for the citizens to help feed them.” He says with a frown.
“Even when I am not sleeping years pass by without me knowing it.” I say quietly.
“I think we should talk to Vhaanth about this.” He says as worry takes over his face, we vanish and Vhaanth’s room appears around us. “She cannot keep time.” Cu Chulainn says to Vhaanth, he appears beside me and touches my forehead and grabs my hand as the void falls around us. I see his eyes glow, as he watches me with a frown, the room appears around us as he lets go of my hand.
“It is due to how she was made; she was reincarnated from a God stuck in the void. There is no meaning of Time in the void, she has a link to her that separates her from Time. There is no way to fix it that I know of, the only way I know of I would prefer not to do.” Vhaanth says with a frown.
“What is it?” Cu Chulainn asks him.
“Father Time, but she would try to kill him.” Vhaanth says with a small smile.
“Why?” I ask him with a frown.
“He is not someone you should be around with your habit of quickly angering. He tests even my patience.” Vhaanth says with a laugh.
“I would have to agree with him, Morrigan. He is extremely infuriating. Think of everything that has ever made you angry and then think a hundred times worse.” Cu Chulainn says angrily.
“How is he that annoying?” I ask them.
“He does nothing for free, he will make you talk about everything that ever made you angry and then talk about how you were wrong.” Vhaanth says annoyed.
“I think I am fine the way I am.” I say as I glare at them.
“I would have to agree, Cu Chulainn can help you.” Vhaanth says with a laugh.
“Did Creation tell you about the agreement?” I ask him and he nods to me with a glare.
“I cannot believe she agreed to it.” He says angrily, I feel someone appear behind me, I turn to see Pride smiling down at me.
“You can be hard to find, Morrigan.” Pride says to me.
“What are you doing in my mansion?” Vhaanth asks him angrily.
“Looking for her.” He says as he watches Vhaanth. “Morrigan, I think it would a great idea for both sides to meet. I understand you are currently missing a God but we can meet him when he returns.” Pride says to me with a smile.
“I think we should meet on neutral ground, some of the Goddesses of my side are not going to be happy about it but it is the best place I can think of.” I say to him and he grins.
“My thoughts exactly, where did you have in mind?” He asks me.
“Theros, God of Summer has a festival every year, during the summer of course. But he does not permit fighting in his mansion, he prefers everyone gets along.” I say with a smile, as I send out a call to Theros and he appears with a grin at me.
“Miss me already, Morrigan?” Theros asks me, Pride laughs.
“I want to use your festival as a meeting between the two sides, are you okay with that?” I ask him with a smile.
“Sure, as long as no one fights I will be nice.” Theros says with a smile as he looks over at Pride. “You another one of them?” He asks him.
“I am their leader.” Pride says with a smirk.
“Nice to meet you.” Theros says with a laugh and vanishes.
“He is a sunny one, is he not?” Pride says with a laugh. “Let me know when it starts, you know where I live.” Pride says as he winks at me and vanishes.
“I really do not like him.” Vhaanth and Cu Chulainn say at the same time and I laugh.
“He is attempting to be friendly the least we can do is return it.” I say to them.
I spend the next few months convincing all the Gods and Goddesses to come to the festival, the Gods were easy to convince the Goddesses were more difficult but they finally gave in. Theros gave me outfits for all of Carnage’s Gods, which I gave to them a few days before the festival starts, I also took Pride to Theros’ mansion so he could bring the others the day of the festival. I am enjoying no more humans asking me to kill creatures from Pride keeping his word and making the creatures stay away.
“I still do not like this.” Cu Chulainn says as he helps me into the two piece.
“Just try to keep an open mind.” I say to him as he ties the sides of the bottom together.
“I will try.” He says with a frown as I lean up and kiss him.
Go to Theros’ mansion, once you are dressed.
I grab Cu Chulainn’s hand and we vanish the platforms appearing around us, I see everyone has already arrived and seem to be getting along. Cu Chulainn slides into the water and holds his hands up for me and I fall into his hands he sets me down on the floor under the water, Pride looks over at me with a smile.
“I have to say this is a good idea, Morrigan. Seeing all the Goddesses in a state of undress keeps everyone happy.” He says with a smirk as he looks down at my outfit.
“They are dressed, just in tinier outfits.” I say with a laugh.
“See she gets it.” Theros says with a grin.
“Theros, I adore you.” Asmodeus says to him as he looks down at me.
“Behave yourself, Asmodeus.” Pride says to him with a frown, Asmodeus looks over at him and I see fear in his eyes.
“Yes, Lucifer.” He says as he backs away from me, Pride smiles at me.
“They listen to me, so I will be able to keep them in line.” He says as he looks around at everyone.
“Why do they listen to you?” I ask as I walk closer to Lucifer.
“Because no one likes punishment.” He says as he looks down at me with a grin that makes my skin crawl.
“Who is this, Morrigan?” Garvit asks me as he walks over frowning at Pride.
“Lucifer is Pride. Garvit is Pride.” I say to them, they look at each other with frowns.
“I keep a collection you might like.” Garvit says to him with a small smile.
“I will have to see it sometime.” Lucifer says to him.
“Do you collect anything?” Garvit asks him.
“Yes, but I prefer not to speak of it with Ladies present.” Lucifer says with a grin.
