Chapten Ten

“Why is it you always know when I need you?” Myrddin whispers to me.
“Creation feels your pain and she sends me to you, and I run as fast as I can.” I say quietly.
“Thank you, Morrigan.” He says quietly.
“I will always be here for you, Myrddin. Whether in spirit or in solid form, I never leave you.” I say as I hug him tightly. We sit in the grove like this for the rest of the day, Myrddin finally lets go of me wiping the tears from his face and stands helping me stand.
“I would like to go back to the palace, I do not want to see anymore of this world for now.” He says quietly, I nod and take his hand, I offer a hand to Cu Chulainn who comes out of the shadows and takes my hand with a sad smile and we vanish, the throne room appears around us.
“Abdicate.”
Now? I think he needs time to mourn.
“Now.”
“Myrddin, Creation wants me to give you the throne again.” I say as I look up into his eyes.
“I will take it Morrigan.” He says with a small smile.
“Jacob!” I yell at the seneschal; he runs over with a frown on his face. “I abdicate the throne to Myrddin.” I say to him.
“Thank the Gods, maybe he will be more tolerable than you.” Jacob says with a glare.
“Be thankful you are a human.” I say as I glare at him.
“Alright, lets go before you forget that.” Cu Chulainn says with an uneasy smile as he pulls me away from him.
“Come to me.”
I take Cu Chulainn’s hand and we vanish, the Circle appears around us. I walk over to the slab with Cu Chulainn, we touch the slab together.
“It is time for both of you to sleep, when you come back someone will want to kill you both. I think you know who that is, claim him as soon as you wake. Cu Chulainn go to Adam before you lay down to remove the claim.”
“I will wait for you to return.” I say with a smile as I let go of his hand and he nods and vanishes. I wait for only a few minutes and he returns with a smile.
“I am free.” He says as he walks to me, I lay down on the slab and he lays down with me I kiss him as the vines wrap around us I feel a huge surge of magic slam into me taking my breath away I feel pain he looks at me with concern, as the vines separate us the pain increases. The vines grow in between us and I can hear him trying to rip them apart.
“Go to sleep.”
I hear her voice and I feel my eyes close as the pain gets worse, I fall into a deep sleep, as I hear him stop tearing the vines.
I hear a voice as I open my eyes, I sit up the vines falling away from me, I see violet eyes watching me with a smile. I glance behind me to see Cu Chulainn waking up I grab him.
“War.”
“I, Morrigan, Goddess of War claim you Cu Chulainn as my demigod. Get up.” I say quickly as I watch him walk toward us, he sits up and see Emnos walking toward us.
“So, you are a Goddess now? You are still mine, love.” Emnos says with a grin as I feel Cu Chulainn pull out of my hand and jump off the slab in front of me, with his sword.
“She is not yours, but I am hers.” He says angrily. “Morrigan, vanish I will take care of him with the demon.” He says angrily.
“Do it but I am not leaving.” I say to him as I stand up watching Emnos. “Do not bite him.” I say to him.
“Yes, Morrigan.” He says as his head starts to change, it looks like it is made of smoke, red eyes glare at me above several rows of sharp teeth, before looking back to Emnos. I move out of the way as Cu Chulainn charges towards Emnos, I watch Emnos trying to stay out of his attack radius. I see an opening in Cu Chulainn’s attacks and I see Emnos go for it, a sword appears in my hand as I vanish and I block the attack before he can land appearing beside them.
“You are not killing my demigod, Emnos.” I whisper to him; he glares down at me as he changes to attack me and I watch Cu Chulainn take advantage of it and cut his head off with the sword.
“Recall the demon.” I order him, I watch the demon head vanish and Cu Chulainn return to me with a smile.
“I was afraid you would not order me to get rid of it.” He says with a laugh as he grabs me and hugs me tightly. “Thank you for claiming me.” He whispers in my ear.
“Thank you for letting me.” I say with a smile as I lean up to kiss him. “Now lets go see how my kingdom is doing.” I say with a grin as we vanish, we appear in the throne room. I see the new seneschal look over at me with a smile as he runs to us.
“Morrigan, nice to meet you. I have read all about you from previous seneschals.” He says with a smile.
“Nice to meet you, what is your name seneschal?” I ask him with a smile.
“Fredrick.” He says excitedly. “You are just like they say, except one I think he just didn’t like you.” He says with a frown.
“Jacob.” I say with a glare still remembering him.
“That is the one, I see the feeling was mutual.” He says with a laugh.
“Where is Myrddin?” I ask him.
“Right here.” I hear Myrddin say and I look over to see him with a smile on his face.
“Hello again, Myrddin.” I say as I hug him tightly.
“Hello again, Morrigan.” He says with a laugh as he hugs me back.
“Are Arthurs knights still in the castle?” I ask him with a frown.
“Yes, they are. Look here they come.” He says with a smile, I look over and see Agravain who grins at me and I feel my eyes glow.
“Glad I still have that effect on you, love.” He says as he walks over to me.
“I wish your immortality would vanish.” I say angrily as I glare at him.
“But then we wouldn’t have eternity together.” He says with a laugh.
“That would be the point.” I say with a glare.
“Did you claim Cu Chulainn?” Myrddin asks me, and I nod to him.
“He protected me from Emnos who was waiting for us.” I say with a smile as I look up at him.
“Sad, I enjoyed hanging out with Emnos.” Agravain says with a frown.
“Of course, you would. You two are just alike, except you don’t have the power to do anything about it.” I say angrily.
“You let me in your bed and you will find I have more power than you think.” Agravain says with a wink, I feel my swords in my hands as I glare at him.
“Do not let your emotions control your magic.” Cu Chulainn says to me as he glares at Agravain, I let the swords vanish.
“You are right, we have Gods to see. I will reclaim the throne later, Myrddin.” I say with a smile as I feel Cu Chulainn’s hands on my hips and we vanish, Vhaanth’s room appears around us. He looks over his book at us with a smile.
“Nice to see you two back, now you can take over killing those creatures again.” He says with a laugh. “Are you going to test out your power in the arena, Morrigan?” Vhaanth asks me.
“Yes, I had planned on it.” I say with a smile.
“I claim first fight.” He says with a grin.
“Then come with us and you can call the Gods to the arena, we can do meet and greet there.” I say with a smile, he nods as he appears beside us and we vanish. I feel him reach out with his power to the Gods as we go to separate side of the arena, Cu Chulainn stands to the side with Gods appearing around him.
Vhaanth summons his pole with the two curved blades on it, I summon the swords. “You can use the wings if you wish.” He says to me, I let the wings out as I let my anger out. I feel him use some of his power, he seems to grow in height as his blue eyes glow, the weapon turns into a large silver scythe in his hands as red eyes appear around him, my eyes glow as the white feathers falls around me. I run towards him as the feathers fly at the red eyes making the vanish, he glides towards me across the ground, his face shrouded in darkness, I feel him making a swing and I block with one sword as I make my own attack at his throat, I feel the scythe hit the sword meant to block as the curved blade comes around and knocks my other sword out of its path. He raises the scythe as the darkness around him grows, I move closer faster than he can move and raise a sword to his throat.
“You are quicker than before.” His voice echoes through the arena.
“You are scarier than I imagined.” I say with a laugh, I watch as he returns to normal and grins at me.
“How come you two get that cool stuff?” Theros asks with a frown as he crosses his arms.
“Because we are the most powerful, when you become stronger you will be able to as well.” Vhaanth says with a laugh. “Morrigan is the only one here who has died more times than me.” He adds.
“If Emnos keeps messing with her, he is going to wind up with more.” Theros says with a laugh.
“We felt him die when we felt you come back into the world, Morrigan.” Ark says with a small smile.
“He was waiting for us, I claimed Cu Chulainn right away and he killed him.” I say with a frown.
“What is wrong?” Vhaanth asks me.
“I do not really want to spend my eternity killing two Gods with twisted views.” I say with a sad smile.
“At least you don’t have to kill the third one with twisted views.” Aiwass whispers in my ear as his arms wrap around me.
“Aiwass I am not longer a demigod.” I say annoyed.
“I know but now we can be lovers, just say yes, love.” He whispers in my ear.
“No, I already have one, I do not need another.” I say with a laugh.
“I heard the crow of the Goddess was much bigger than the one you turned into, is that real?” Theros asks me with a frown.
“No, it is not.” Cu Chulainn says with a laugh.
“What were those things with the red eyes, Vhaanth?” I ask him with a frown.
“What things?” Vhaanth asks me confused.
“I didn’t see any either, Morrigan.” Cu Chulainn says with a frown.
“What was the feathers shooting at then?” I ask them.
“Not sure, I just figured you missed him on purpose.” Theros says with a frown.
“I might have just been seeing things then, the light acting strangely around him.” I say with a smile.
“Show me.” Vhaanth says to me with a frown, I touch his temple and show him the memory. “That is not light.” He says with a frown as I lower my hand. “I will have to talk to Creation about that.” He says and vanishes.
“Can we see?” Theros asks me with a frown.
“Yeah, I will show it to you and we can spread it around.” I say with a frown and he nods, I touch my finger to his temple and let the memory play and he touches Ante and shows it to him as I show Cu Chulainn, within minutes all the Gods had seen the memory. I look around at the worried faces. “Creation will find out what it is, if it is an enemy, we will beat it.” I say with a smile. “We already know they are effected by my feathers.” I say to them and they nod.
“Morrigan, we should take your throne back. I have a bad feeling about it.” Cu Chulainn says to me and I nod, we take hands and vanish to the throne room. I look around to see no one in the throne room, we walk to the door to the hallway no one is there all the guards are gone.
“Sense for life.” I tell him, I feel him use magic.
“Nothing in the palace.” He says quietly, we walk to the main entrance of the castle to see men in armor attacking everything that moves.
“Kill everything not mine.” I say angrily as swords appear in my hands I feel him vanish, I charge towards the men as my wings and eyes glow, I dash across the city killing everything try to kill the citizens the wings carrying me faster than I thought possible. I float above the city and look down at the city, I look for anymore of the soldiers to see them all gone, I look around the area to see where they could have come from. I see a ship sitting off the shore.
Cu Chulainn, ship off the shore to the north, meet me there.
Yes, Morrigan. It is nice to hear your voice in my mind.
I feel the same.
I turn into the crow and dive to the ship, I see Cu Chulainn running towards it, I see men on board trying to get the ship moving I land as my body returns to me, men run at me with weapons raised I cut them down quickly. I go down in the lower deck of the ship, I see Myrddin knocked out on the floor, I pick up his body and run back up top.
Find the knights now.

Bring them to the throne room when you find them.
I vanish to the palace and lay Myrddin on the bed, I hold a hand over him and heal him, he opens his eyes and frowns at me. “Are you okay?” I ask him, he looks behind me and smiles.
“Yes, love the wings.” He says with a grin. “What happened?” He asks me with a frown.
“I was going to ask you the same, I came back to an empty palace and men attacking the city.” I say with a frown.
“I was talking to the seneschal when someone hit me over the head, that is all I know.” He says with a frown.
“Stay here, I am putting the palace on lockdown.” I say as I vanish to the throne room, Cu Chulainn appears in front of me with Mordred and tosses him at my feet, I lift a hand and a cage appears around him as Cu Chulainn vanishes. I feed magic into the palace and the city letting the magic coat it and I lock it down no humans or out, I repair all the damage done to everything. I feel Cu Chulainn reappear and I see him toss two more knights at my feet I cage them as he vanishes, I send out a call for Arthur and he appears in front of me.
“Your knights were not at the palace, why?” I ask him as my eyes glow as I glare at him, I hear my voice echo through the palace.
“I have no idea Morrigan.” He says with a frown.
“Ask them, Chulainn is grabbing them all up. There are some already caged.” I say as I point to the three, Cu Chulainn appears tossing two more down and vanishing, I cage the new two.
“What is going on Morrigan?” Arthur asks me.
“Someone attempted to kidnap Myrddin, and attack the city. The knights were not here, so they have to be linked.” I say angrily.
“Is Myrddin okay?” He asks me with worry on his face.
“He is fine, I have him locked down in a room. No one in or out.” I say quietly, Arthur nods and his face turns to anger as he looks over at the caged knights. I let them argue it out while I try to figure out what the loss of life is of the humans for this, I have reached a thousand already. I found the seneschal already dead in the maid corridor, I will have to get new guards new staff everything. Cu Chulainn reappears with the other four and drops them, I raise a hand and cage them. “Cu Chulainn go check on the humans in the city please, if they need it let them stay in the castle.” I say to him as I continue counting the loss of life.
“Yes, Morrigan.” He says and vanishes.
“It is Mordred’s fault!” I hear one of the knights yells, as I finally get the total count, two thousand three hundred forty-three humans dead. I walk over to Arthur as I watch the knights with anger.
“Two thousand three hundred forty-three.” I say angrily as I glare at them.
“What is that, Morrigan?” Arthur asks me.
“Humans dead, because of someone.” I say feeling the rage rise in me. “I will go through each of their memories, the one who is to blame is mine.” I say angrily as I glare up at Arthur and he nods.
“Whatever you think up will be worse than I can think, I will trust you Morrigan with the punishment.” Arthur says with a frown as he watches the knights. I walk to one of the cages and walk through the bars, I glare down at the knight and touch his temple, his memories fly through my mind he is innocent. The cage around him vanishes.
“You are free.” I say as I walk through the next cage, I go to each cage going through the memories of each knight until I find the right one, I glare down at Mordred.
“What are you going to do? You cannot kill me.” Mordred says with a laugh, I pick him up by the throat as the cage vanishes.
“I may not be able to kill you, but I can make your existence miserable.” I whisper as I stare into his eyes.
I need a stone coffin.

Take it to the Gods graveyard.
“What are you going to do to him?” Arthur asks me.
“See how he likes being dead for a few thousand years.” I say as we vanish, I raise a hand away from the Gods graves raising a chunk of earth out of the ground, Cu Chulainn appears and throws it into the hole, I walk over to the coffin and move the lid out of the way I bind Mordred with magic to keep him from moving and lay him in the coffin moving the lid back onto it and weaving magic around it to lock it before dropping the earth back on top after I move out of the way.
“That is creative.” Cu Chulainn says with a laugh.
“I remember reading something about it from a book of legends, thought it would fit.” I say with a smile, he takes my hand and we reappear in the throne room.
“Your knights are not allowed to leave the kingdom; they are on lockdown as punishment for not saying or doing anything.” I tell Arthur and he nods with a smile. “Their punishment will be to help the humans.” I say as I glare down at the kneeling knights.
“I am giving you this order only once, do as she says.” Arthur says as he glares down at them. They all nod to him.
“Tell Adam to send me a seneschal please Arthur.” I say as I look up at him, he nods with a sad look on his face. As he vanishes I wrap the knights in magic that keeps them from leaving the island, then I walk out of the throne room to the entrance of the palace, I see all the citizens in front of palace.
“Why were we attacked Goddess Morrigan?” Someone asks me.
“I don’t know the person who planned it has been punished, the best I can guess is Greed.” I say angrily. “I will get the city up and running again along with the castle, I have repaired all your homes, I will take care of the dead in a few hours. If any of you would prefer to stay in the palace the door is open to you.” I say to them and they nod. “I have locked the city down no more attackers will be getting in, but that also means you cannot get out. I do it for your safety.” I say to them and they nod.
“We trust you Goddess Morrigan.” Another one says to me. “We saw what you did to those men.” The human says with a smile.
“Cu Chulainn find all the citizens bodies and bring them to the grave yard outside of the city.” I say to him.
“Yes, Morrigan.” He says and vanishes.
“Once all the dead are collected, we will bury them.” I say to them.
“What about the attackers?” One of them ask me.
“I plan on sending them back where they came from.” I say with a smile, the citizens smile at me. All of them prefer to stay in the palace until the dead are removed so I escort them all to the throne room while Cu Chulainn gets done.
“It is done, Morrigan.” Cu Chulainn says as he appears beside me.
“While I make the graves escort them to the grave yard, or the ones that want to go.” I say quietly to him and he nods, I vanish and I look at all the dead bodies lined up on the ground in the graveyard. I raise the magic and make earth rise out of the ground for each body, when I see Cu Chulainn walking up with the group of humans. “Help them lay them to rest.” I say quietly and he nods. We spend several hours laying each person to rest in the ground allowing the family to say words for each one. If no family was left Cu Chulainn said a few words for the dead, I felt my magic draining the entire time, but I did not care. Once all the bodies are put to rest the humans bow to me before returning to their homes.
“Gather the enemy dead, lay them in a pile over there.” I say as I point outside the graveyard.
“Yes, Morrigan. You should rest.” He says with a smile and vanishes. I vanish and Vhaanth’s room appears around me.
“I don’t have any new yet.” He says angrily.
“My city was attacked.” I say to him, he looks up at me with sorrow.
“I am sorry, Morrigan.” He says quietly. “Catch the one who did it?” He asks me.
“An immortal, I laid him to rest.” I say with a glare.
“You cannot kill an immortal.” He says with a frown.
“Doesn’t keep me from burying him.” I say with a small smile, and Vhaanth laughs.
“How many dead?” He asks me with a sigh.
“Two thousand three hundred forty-three.” I say as I look at the floor.
“I am sorry, Morrigan. I will send some humans with Adam to rebuild the population and build up the staff in your palace.” He says to me.
“Thank you, Vhaanth.” I say with a sad smile as I look up at him. “If you need any help I will give it.” I add, he smiles.
“I just might, I will keep it in mind.” He says and I vanish, Myrddin appearing in front of me with a glare on his face.
“Let me out now Morrigan!” He yells angrily at me.
“I am sorry, Myrddin. I had to make sure it was safe for you.” I say with a sad smile as I remove the locks on the room.
“I cannot die, Morrigan.” He says with a sad smile.
“But they can steal you.” I say with a frown.
“Did you catch who did it?” He asks me.
“Mordred, he is currently underground.” I say with a smile.
“I would hate to know what that means.” Myrddin says as he frowns at me.
“He is no longer a problem, that is what is important.” I say as I open the door and walk out, Myrddin joins me as we walk down the hallway.
“It is eerie how quiet it is here.” Myrddin says quietly.
“It will be back to being busy again in no time, we have buried the dead and put them to rest.” I say to him and he smiles at me, Cu Chulainn appears in front of me, he looks tired.
“It is done, Morrigan.” He says with a smile.
“Go lay on our bed and wait for me, I have a package to deliver.” I say with a smile and he grins at me as he vanishes.
“What is this package?” Myrddin asks me with a frown.
“I am going to deliver the attackers bodies to the one sent them.” I say with a smile, Myrddin laughs as I vanish. I look at the large pile of bodies, I wrap it in magic as I starts to rise, I picture the castle I saw in Mordred’s memories and I vanish the bodies come with me. A king sits on the throne glaring at me once I appear, the bodies fall into the room around him.
“Next time you want to attack my kingdom, keep in mind this will be your payment.” I say to him, as I curtsy to him.
“Who are you?” He asks me angrily.
“Goddess Morrigan.” I say with a smile, and I vanish landing on the bed beside Cu Chulainn.
“How did he like his package?” He asks me with a grin as he looks down at me.
“He did not seem to appreciate it as much as I thought he would.” I say with a frown, and he laughs as he leans down and kisses me. “We should go visit the dragons.” I say with a smile as I remember them.
“When am I going to get you to stay in bed with me?” Cu Chulainn asks me with a grin.
“Once everything is fixed.” I say with a laugh.
“Well, I will not get my hopes up then.” He says as he laughs and kisses me again, and rolls me on top of him as he stands up and we vanish. I look into the cave at the glowing eyes.
“You have ascended.” The silver eyes say to me.
“Mayge?” I ask as I take a step closer, the giant head comes out of the cave and I see the black and white scales. I walk over to her and rub the rough scales on her snout. “It is nice to see you again.” I say with a smile.
“Nice to see you too, Morrigan. I have offspring now.” She says as I watch a large clawed foot shove out two dragons, I frown as I look down at them. Both are black, one has blue eyes and the other violet they look up at me.
“I really need to ask Vhaanth about this.” I say as my frown deepens.
“No, Gods cannot come back as dragons.”
Oh, thank the Gods for that. Last thing I need is an ascended Dhuna trying to kill me as a dragon. Why are the eyes like that?
“Just color variations, I love the dragons and all the colors they can be.”
“What are their names?” I ask Mayge.
“Crui and Goro.” Mayge says with a purr to them and they run back into the cave.
“Where is Orgo?” I ask her.
“He moved to a different part of the mountain.” Mayge says to me.
“Adam is at the palace with humans.”
Thank you for showing us your offspring, Mayge. I have to go take care of human stuff.” I say with a smile.
“Thank you for the visit, Goddess Morrigan.” Mayge says as he head disappears inside the cave again, I take Cu Chulainn’s hand and we vanish to the throne room where Adam waits with a large group of humans.
“There you are, I was wondering where you had run off to.” Adam says with a frown.
“Visiting the dragons.” I say with a grin and he gives me an uneasy smile.
“This is Richard, he will be your new seneschal.” Adam says as he pushes him forward, the nervous man looks up at me.
“Hello Richard, nice to meet you.” I say with a smile. “Do not call me Princess, and do not bow.” I say with a frown.
“Nice to meet you Morrigan.” He says quietly.
“She will not eat you; I promise.” Cu Chulainn says with a grin.
“If I did, Jacob would have been at the top of my list.” I say angrily. “I will lead you to the seneschal’s office, it will have notes from all the previous seneschal’s so you can get familiar with everything. Cu Chulainn take care of the rest of them please.” I say as I take the nervous mans arm and escort him out of the throne room. I take him to the office and open the door for him, he walks in with a smile at the large room. I walk in and open a side door for him. “This is your bedroom; you will be given every comfort I am while you work here.” I say with a smile as he looks into the room with a grin. “I will leave you to your reading, once you are caught up come find me.” I say as I walk out of the room closing the door, I vanish to the throne room to see the maids had left and the chef Adam waits for me.
“Thank you, Adam.” I say with a smile.
“You’re welcome, I am going to go back home and see if I can find anyone else.” He says with a smile and vanishes. I send out a probe of magic to look for Cu Chulainn, he is in the maid corridor, I frown and vanish. I look in front of me to see him kissing the maid, I send pain through the link into him as my eyes glow.
“Leave us.” I say to the maid and she runs, I walk to him as he suffers in the pain and I grab him by the neck and we vanish. The throne room appears around us and I drop him, he lands on the floor looking up at me in pain. “I think I will leave you to your thoughts.” I say as I watch him, he reaches out and grabs my leg.
I am sorry, Morrigan. Forgive me, I just needed it and you have been busy.
Why should I forgive you?
Morrigu was fine with it, I thought you would be too.
I glare down at him as I increase the pain, I kneel down beside him. “You have said yourself many times, I am not her.” I say quietly as I watch him. “I, Morrigan, Goddess of War, disown you Cu Chulainn. Get out of my palace.” I whisper as I touch him and he vanishes. I walk over to the throne and sit down as I go into my memories as I wait for the seneschal.
I feel someone touch my arm, and rage bursts through me as my eyes glow, I look up at the person to see Richard backing away from me. “I am sorry, Richard. What is it you need?” I ask him quietly.
“I am done reading; I already have petitions from the city and requests from the chef ready to go. I just need the merchants.” He says with an uneasy smile. “Where is the man who was with you?” He asks me with a frown.
“He has been disowned. Send in the petitioners.” I say to him with a frown, he nods and runs off, I feel a hand on my shoulder and I glare up to see Adam.
“Disowned your first demigod, I hear.” Adam says with a frown.
“Usually happens when they are caught kissing maids.” I say angrily as I look away from him.
“Did not think he would fuck up that bad.” Adam says angrily.
“He did, I made him suffer through my pain first.” I say angrily. “What demigods do we have free at the moment?” I ask him as I look up at him.
“I can bring them all to you later.” Adam says with a sad smile.
“Great, I will be waiting.” I say as I watch people walk in.
“Petitioners?” He asks me as he watches them.
“Yes.” I say annoyed.
“Be nice, remember it is not their fault he is an ass.” Adam whispers with a laugh and I feel him vanish, I smirk as I watch them line up. After a few hours of complaints they are all gone, Richard moves closer to me.
“Is there anything else?” I ask him.
“We still need merchants, with the city blocked off we cannot get any goods.” He says quietly, I release the lockdown.
“Now you can have merchants.” I say to him. “Hire ten administrators to handle the paperwork. I refuse to do it.” I say to him with a frown and he nods, I access the magic to change and I fly out of the throne room out the front entrance I glide around the nearly empty city. I feel anger towards Mordred for breaking this. I glide back towards the palace and I see Cu Chulainn sitting on the roof, anger rises in me as I dive towards him, I change as I hit the roof with a sword at his throat. He looks up at me.
“Go ahead.” He says with a frown, I glare down at him. The sword vanishes from my hand and I touch him, and he vanishes. I use the magic to block him from entering.
“Adam is back with the demigods.”
I vanish and the throne room appears around me, I glare at the demigods as I watch them. “Morrigan, that is not a good first impression.” Adam says with a frown.
“I just found the previous one on my roof.” I say angrily as my wings appear, there is only one male among the females. I walk over to them and test them for power and magic, the man looks down at me with a smirk. “Something entertaining?” I ask him with a frown.
“You are cuter when you are angry.” He says with a grin, my eyes glow as I glare up at him, I touch him and send him to Vhaanth.
“Last thing I need is a Emnos who obeys me.” I say angrily as I watch the women. “Have any of you been with Emnos, raise your hands.” I say to them as I let my anger go, two raise their hands. “You may go.” I say to them, I look at the remaining ones and they seem familiar. One has black hair and gold eyes the other has black hair and silver eyes. “Names?” I ask them with a smile.
“Babd.” The silver eyed one says to me with a smile.
“Macha.” The gold eyed one says as she watches me.
“Do you both want a God?” I ask them.
“Yes, Goddess.” They say at the same time.
“Is it okay if I take them both Adam?” I ask him.
“Go ahead, they will enjoy the power boost from you.” He says with a laugh, I walk over to Macha and offer my hand to her.
“If you want me take my hand.” I say to her and she takes my hand with a smile. “I, Morrigan, Goddess of War claim you, Macha as my demigod.” I say as my eyes glow and I feel the chain form between us. I offer my hand to Babd. “Same to you, if you do not want it you do not have to take it.” I say with a smile, she grins at me and takes my hand. “I, Morrigan, Goddess of War claim you, Babd as my demigod.” I say as I feel the second chain form.
“I will not order you to do a lot, all I ask is that you do not fraternize with other Gods, or demigods in any way that is not Ladylike.” I say to them and they nod. “Are either of you sorceresses?” I ask them and they both nod, I smile. “You will be trained in melee and magic; I will be training you. Any questions you have for me?” I ask them.
“Do we get a room of our own?” Macha asks me.
“Yes, and you will wear dresses I have made for you.” I say to her.
“Will they look like yours?” Babd asks me with a grin.
“Yes, they will.” I say with a laugh. “Your jobs right now is to go to the library in the palace and read all the history books. I will be coming to interrupt you for melee.” I say to them and they both nod and run out of the room.
“Claim Cu Chulainn and keep him away from me.” I say as I glare up at Adam.
“I will try.” He says quietly and vanishes, I look over as I hear someone walk into the room an old man sees me and bows deeply.
“What is it I can help you with, sir?” I ask him as I walk over to him.
“There are creatures in the poor district, Goddess Morrigan.” He says with a frown.
“I will take care of it.” I say to him as I think of the Drowned man, I vanish and fly up into the air above the district, I see several shapes moving in the darkness. I dive towards the one away from the others ready to pull out the magic for fire and a sword as soon as I hit the ground, I stab the creature with the sword as I set it on fire. It screams out as it dies, I feel the others coming towards me, I fly back up into the air as I watch them. I see them split up, I wait until they are a safe distance apart and I dive towards the one on the left getting the fire and sword ready as I change above it my sword runs through its skull into its body as I set it on fire. I feel the other running towards me, I fade into the darkness around me as I watch it. It walks over to the dead one, I slice through the air chopping its head off as it was bending over. I vanish and the throne room appears around me, I walk over to the throne and sit down. The seneschal comes over to me.
“Goddess Morrigan, your sword is dripping.” Richard says quietly.
“Killed monsters in the poor district.” I say to him.
“You should go to bed, Goddess Morrigan.” Richard says to me.
“I want a new bed, that one can burn.” I say annoyed.
“I will order one to be made.” He says quietly.
“Morrigan, you seem to be very busy.” Myrddin says as he walks into the room, and he looks down at the sword with a frown.
“Which part are you talking about Myrddin?” I ask him.
“Chef, maids, seneschal, demigods.” He says with a frown as he watches me.
“Adam helped, and my previous demigod liked the maids too much.” I say angrily as a tear falls down my face.
“I am sorry, Morrigan.” Myrddin says quietly.
“I have new demigods, at least I don’t have to worry about catching them with the maid.” I say angrily as my eyes glow. “I am teaching them magic currently.” I say with a small smile.
“Well, it gives you something to do.” Myrddin says with a small smile. “May I ask where that ooze came from? Or what it came from?” He asks me with a frown the seneschal leans in curious.
“Drowned men, three of them in the poor district. I just came back from killing them.” I say with a frown.
“Are you going to be able to control yourself if Cu Chulainn comes back to the palace?” Myrddin asks me.
“He already has, I sent him away again.” I say quietly. “He was supposed to protect me from becoming Morrigu, but he hurt me like her lover did to her.” I whisper as tears fall down my face.
“I will protect you, Morrigan.” Myrddin says with a sad smile.
“Only he and Vhaanth know what to look for.” I say annoyed as I wipe the tears away. “Richard, is there anything else for me to do?” I ask him as I look at him, he shakes his head as he looks at the floor. “Then go to bed, you need your sleep.” I say to him, he looks up at me and I smile at him.
