“I would love to see it.” Garvit says with a grin.
“That is creepy.” Theros says as he watches them.
“You think it and it just comes out, doesn’t it?” I say to Theros with a laugh.
“Yes, I think that is the best way to be. Speaking of where is the one that lies?” Theros asks with a grin as he looks around.
“White hair white eyes, hard to miss.” I say to him with a laugh and he runs off.
“Hello again, Morrigan.” Aamon says as he walks over to me.
“Hello, Aamon. Having fun?” I ask him and he grins down at me.
“Yes, I am. I would never have thought of doing something like this.” He says with a laugh.
“I thought the different sides should meet.” I say with a smile.
“I meant the tiny outfits the women are wearing.” Aamon says with a grin, and I laugh.
“Morrigan, I have noticed you are not with a God.” Lucifer says to me with a smile.
“I have a demigod, that is enough for me.” I say to him as I feel Cu Chulainn’s hands grab my waist, Pride looks at him with a frown.
“Subspecies of the God is good enough for you?” He asks as he frowns down at me.
“I used to be one, if you will remember. Yes, he is good enough for me, nothing will take his place.” I say angrily as I glare at him.
“I think you could do better, but if that is the way you feel. If you ever change your mind, I will gladly take his place.” He says as he grins down at me.
“You sound like our lunatic.” I say angrily.
“Morrigan! I have not seen you in forever.” Aiwass says as he appears in front of me and takes me from Cu Chulainn and spins with me. “Are you going to say yes to me now?” He whispers in my ear. “I heard you say lunatic and I knew you had to be talking about me, love.” He says as he looks down at me with a smile.
“I am guessing this is the lunatic you were referring to?” Lucifer asks me as he frowns at Aiwass.
“Yes, Lucifer meet Aiwass, God of Frenzy.” I say to him with a laugh.
“Who is he?” Aiwass asks as he frowns at Lucifer.
“Lucifer, he made the same offer you keep giving me.” I say with a grin.
“She is mine, I saw her first.” Aiwass says angrily as he presses me against him, Pride watches him with an amused look.
“Aiwass, get your hands off Morrigan.” Cu Chulainn says angrily as he pulls at an arm.
“She still with you?” Aiwass asks him with a grin.
“Yes, now hands off.” He says angrily.
“Only if she says please.” Aiwass says with a laugh.
“Please get your hands off me, Aiwass.” I say angrily and he vanishes. “Our lunatic.” I say as I glare up at Lucifer and he laughs.
“I refuse to throw myself at you like he does, it is not dignified.” He says with a smirk as he watches me.
“Thank the Gods for that.” I say annoyed as I feel Cu Chulainn’s arms wrap around me from behind.
“What is it that you see in this one, though?” He asks as he frowns at Cu Chulainn.
“He is everything I need and want.” I say with a smile.
“Even though he broke your trust?” Lucifer asks me with a smirk as he looks down at me.
“Do not tell me you had something to do with that too.” I say as I glare at him.
“Actually, I had something to do with that.” Berith says as he walks over to us with a smirk, he grins at Cu Chulainn. “Was the maid fun?” He asks him, I feel Cu Chulainn letting go of me.
“Stay.” I say to him and I feel him fighting against the order. “He did not get that far, I got my hands on him.” I say as I glare at him feeling rage take over.
“Pity, she could have been fun.” Berith says with a smirk.
“Lucifer, unless you want our agreement to end. I would make him go somewhere else away from me. Otherwise, I may not be able to control myself and detach his head from his body.” I say as I glare at Berith.
“Leave us.” Lucifer says to him and Berith walks away.
“How long have you and your Gods been intervening?” I ask him angrily.
“Quite some time, I was amused by the fact no one noticed.” Lucifer says with a laugh.
“Emnos?” I ask him with a glare.
“Some of that was us, mostly that was him.” Lucifer says with a smirk as he watches me.
“Him killing me?” I ask him.
“That was all him.” Lucifer says with a frown. “We are not allowed to do anything that will kill any of you.” He says as he watches me. “Though you did escalate that one, so he would kill you. I watched everything, I wanted to see what you Gods were like.” He says as he frowns.
“What did you find?” I ask him.
“Unruly, undisciplined, lack of leadership.” He says with a smirk.
“You think what you have is leadership? You rule through fear.” I say as I frown at him.
“They still listen.” He says with a smile.
“Fear eventually turns to hate.” I say to him, I feel the magic warn me, I look over to see Dhuna walking towards us. Cu Chulainn’s arms wrap around me tighter as I start shaking.
Calm down, do not show weakness. He is watching you. Focus on me, think of nothing else. I am here and no will hurt you.
“Hi Morrigan, who is this?” Dhuna asks me quietly as I feel my fear being held in check by Cu Chulainn.
“This is Lucifer, the leader.” I say to him, as I look up at Lucifer who is watching me with a grin.
“Hello Dhuna, nice to see you.” Lucifer says as he turns his attention to him with a smile.
No matter what you hear do not move.
Why?
Lucifer is the one who imbued the Drowned with the magic that stopped me from being healed.
It is his fault?
Stay.
“Nice to meet you, Lucifer. How do you know my name?” Dhuna asks him with a frown.
“I watched your glorious display of revenge. I made her weak and watched the results.” Lucifer says with a grin as he looks at me. “I am still watching the results.” He adds.
“You were the one who created that magic?” Dhuna asks him quietly.
“Yes, I was. Your cruelty knows no bounds.” Lucifer says as he smiles at him, Dhuna walks away from us. I watch him until he out of sight again.
“I really hope this agreement does not last.” Cu Chulainn says angrily as he glares at Lucifer.
“Did she finally show you?” Lucifer asks him with a frown.
“Yes, she did. As soon as the agreement is dissolved, I am coming for you.” Cu Chulainn says angrily.
“I may make sure it stays just to watch you stew in your anger.” Lucifer says with a smirk as he watches him. “Has he always been this protective of you, even before you claimed him?” Lucifer asks me.
“Yes, he has. He gave up his freedom to a God to kill another that was coming after me.” I say quietly. “We are going to our room, in the mansion. We will see you at dinner.” I say as I smile at him and we vanish. We appear in a room that looks like mine at the palace that Theros created for me, Cu Chulainn lets go of me and pacing angrily in the room.
“Why have you not told me?” He asks me angrily.
“Because I knew you would react badly.” I say quietly as I watch him.
“Of course, I would, that bastard laid the pieces out for you to get captured and then watched!” He yells angrily at me as he walks to me.
“Calm down.” I say to him and I watch the order take effect he glares at me. “I do not like being yelled at, Cu Chulainn.” I say to him, and the glare vanishes from his face.
“I am sorry, Morrigan.” He says quietly. “I am angry at him.” He adds.
“I know, I am too. But we are enjoying peace, and the Fomorian war will not happen if we stay in agreement.” I say to him and he frowns at me.
“They said that?” He asks me.
“Yes, that is why I am trying to keep the peace.” I say with a small smile.
“You could kill them easily.” He says with a frown.
“How many humans would die before I did?” I ask him, and he gives me a sad look. “How many humans died during the last one?” I ask him and he looks at the floor.
“Millions.” He says quietly.
“That is reason enough for me to keep the peace.” I say to him and he nods as he looks back up at me.
“I will not attack any of them.” He says with a sad smile.
“Thank you.” I say as I smile at him, I smell cinnamon and vanilla in the air and I frown. “Get on the bed.” I say to him as my swords appear, he gets on the bed the order forcing him.
“Am I interrupting something?” A voice whispers throughout the room.
“Get out of here Asmodeus, or I will get Lucifer.” I say angrily as I look around the room, the candles extinguish. I reach out with the magic as I close my eyes, I feel a disturbance in it to my right and stab with the sword nothing happens.
“I have learned my lesson, Morrigan.” The voice whispers as I feel the hands.
“Go to Lucifer and bring him here.” I say to Cu Chulainn as I let anger rage through me to get rid of the effects of the scent, I feel him vanish.
“Alone at last.” The voice whispers.
“Not for long.” I say angrily I hear someone banging on the door.
“I blocked him from coming back.” The voice whispers.
Get away from the door.
I hold up a hand and blast it to pieces with a fireball, as the scent gets stronger. Lucifer walks in with a glare on his face, he holds up a hand and Asmodeus appears hanging by the neck in his hand. The scent and the hands vanish, I let the swords vanish as I watch them trying to get the feeling out of my head.
“I thought I told you to behave.” Lucifer says as his eyes glow.
“You know me Lucifer, I cannot help myself.” Asmodeus whispers, I feel magic well up inside of Lucifer and Asmodeus starts screaming in pain.
“Thank you for retrieving me, demigod.” Lucifer says as he glares at him and walks out with Asmodeus.
“He is a little terrifying.” I say with a small smile, Cu Chulainn looks over at me with a frown.
“What does the magic do to you? I feel a strange mix of emotions from you.” He asks me.
“It is meant to simulate love, and lust. It also causes you to feel pleasure, I fight it off with anger.” I say with a laugh.
“At least you have that to help you.” He says with a small smile, I call out for Theros through the magic. He appears in front of me with a smirk.
“Never thought you would call me to your bedroom.” He says with a smirk, and I laugh, as I point to the door. He turns and looks at it with a frown. “Who did that?” He asks as he looks back at me with a frown.
“I did, I had to open the door quickly.” I say with a smile.
“Door knobs work too.” He says with a grin.
“Not if a god is holding it closed.” I say with a grin. “Lucifer took care of the problem; I just need my door back.” I say with a laugh.
“Alright, I will fix it this time. But next time you call me to your bedroom I will expect something else.” Theros says with a grin as he winks at me, he holds a hand up to the door and the broken pieces vanish and a new door reappears.
“Thank you, Theros.” I say with a grin, and he laughs as he vanishes.
“If you want to go back to the platforms you can, wake me up when it is dinner time.” I say to Cu Chulainn as I lay down on the bed, I feel the bed move and an arm wrap around me and pull me close.
“I would rather watch over you.” He whispers in my ear and I smile as I close my eyes and fall asleep.
I wake up to the feeling of being rolled over, I open my eyes and I see Dhuna I slap him as anger builds in me, he holds my wrists to the bed.
“Morrigan, wake up.” I hear someone say and I open my eyes to see Cu Chulainn over me. “Why did you hit me?” He asks me with a frown, as he lets go of my wrists, I send the memory to him through the link and I see anger in his eyes.
“Sorry.” I say with a sad smile and he kisses me.
“Dinner time.” He says as he lifts me off the bed and walks over to the wardrobe, he dresses me and brushes my hair and offers me his arm, I take it and we vanish. I see Macha and Babd waiting for us with smiles, as they walk over to us.
“Morrigan, there is three of you.” Ark says with a laugh as he walks over to us.
“Macha, Babd this is Ark the God of War.” I say to them and they look at me confused.
“I know right? Two Gods of War.” Ark says with a laugh, as we walk over to the larger table with chairs around it for everyone. Ark pulls out a chair for me and I sit as he pushes it back in, Cu Chulainn, Macha and Babd stand behind my chair as Ark sits in the chair to my right.
“Demigods do not get chairs?” I ask him as I look back at them.
“No, the table is meant for Gods.” Ark says to me with a frown, I watch as all the Gods enter the room and walk over to the table and sit down, I see an empty chair beside Dhuna for Emnos. Lucifer sits across the table from me with Aamon sitting beside him and Beelzebub on his other side, Lucifer smiles at me as he glances up at the three demigods behind me. Vhaanth sits down in the chair to my left, I smile over at him and he gives me a small smile. Once everyone is seated, Vhaanth stands up and Lucifer frowns at him and me.
“I want to thank all the Gods of both sides for coming together and interacting peacefully, we need this continued peace to be able to keep this world in one piece. I look forward to getting to know all of the Gods here from the other side, if you have any issues with our Gods, you are welcome to come to my mansion and I will handle it for you. So, we can keep this agreement intact.” Vhaanth says to them and sits back down, maids stream into the room and place plates full of food in front of each God with Ark’s mead.
“Morrigan, I have a question.” Lucifer says to me with a frown.
“What is it, Lucifer?” I ask as I pick up the fork and knife.
“Why do you let a weaker God speak for you?” He asks me, I look up at him with a frown.
“Vhaanth is the elder here, and wiser one. I defer to his wisdom.” I say to him.
“Actually, you are the elder, you have just been gone for twenty thousand years.” He says angrily.
“And he knows more about these Gods and the ways of this world than I do.” I say angrily.
“Once you learn are you going to take your rightful place as leader since you are his elder and more powerful than he is?” Lucifer asks me.
“Say yes.”
Why?
“Just say it, Morrigan. I am tired of questions.”
“Yes.” I say as I glare at him, and he smiles at me.
“Then you need to hurry.” He says to me.
“Why?” I ask him with a frown.
“I do not recognize him as leader, and the longer he is leader the more respect I lose for you. Learn what you need to and take lead.” He says as he glares at me.
“Your glares do not affect me like they do your little Gods, I suggest you keep to smiles, Lucifer.” I say as I smile at him, he smirks at me. “I also suggest you keep veiled threats to yourself, because we both know at this table. I am the strongest one.” I say as I grin at him and he laughs.
“You are only stronger by a small margin, Morrigan.” Lucifer says as he smirks at me.
“A small enough margin to matter.” I say as I watch him.
“Do you Gods duel?” He asks me.
“Yes, want to challenge me?” I ask him, and he smiles. “Will you be able to take it if I beat you?” I ask him with a grin and he laughs.
“Yes I think I will. Do you do first blood or just a sword to the throat?” He asks me with a smile.
“We usually do the sword to throat.” I say to him.
“Do you mind if we do first blood?” He asks me with a smirk.
“I do not mind.” I say to him with a smile. “What weapon do you use?” I ask him.
“I use a rapier.” He answers as he picks up a piece of food with a fork.
“Garvit uses that as well.” I say with a smile. “Maybe you could give him a round as well.” I say with a laugh.
“I would rather not.” Garvit says with a frown as he looks down at from one end of the table, and Lucifer laughs.
“He is much weaker; it would be like battling a child. No offense Garvit.” Lucifer says to him with a small smile.
“None taken, knowing your strengths and weaknesses is part of the game.” Garvit says with a smile.
“I agree, I look forward to our duel, Morrigan.” Lucifer says as he smiles at me. After dinner is done everyone vanishes to the arena at Theros’ mansion, I have silenced all three of my demigods because they keep complaining and sit on the side glaring at me unable to speak to me in anyway and been told to stay in their spots. I vanish to one side of the arena and summon the swords as Lucifer appears at the other end with rapier in hand.
“Do you want to use our abilities given to us for our power, or just the weaker one?” He asks me with a smile.
“I will let you choose.” I say to him.
“War letting her opponent choose something on the field of battle? You are strange.” Lucifer says with a grin. “Lets use our powers.” He says with a smirk, and I nod. I unleash my rage and I feel the wings spread behind me and my eyes glow, I watch as his silver eyes start to glow and darkness forms around him. I see silver eyed creatures in the darkness around him their fangs shining in the light from the candles in the room, six silver wings sprout from his back as something with red eyes steps from the darkness around him, it looks like a dog but bigger as it growls at me, I see large fangs in its mouth that look too big for its mouth.
The magic gives me a warning as I watch the creatures and the dog charge across the arena towards me, I give myself over to the dance with war as I charge towards them. White feathers fall around me and shooting out towards the creatures killing them as I fight with the hound, the hound does its best to grab my legs and arms as I fight it, but my constant movement keeps me safe from the jaws. The magic warns me and I glance to see Lucifer above me coming down on top of me with his sword, I move out of the way and he impales the hound. He laughs as he comes after me, the hound vanishes as I dodge his attack, we spend what seems like an eternity exchanging blows for the other to block it at the last moment, until I see an opening but the magic warns me so I jump back away from him.
“I had doubts about that magic of yours, but I see everything I have heard and read is true. I gave you an opening to see if you would take it so I could strike.” His voice echoes through the room as he smiles at me. “Now lets see if something I have heard is true.” His voice echoes as he charges at me, I feel no warning from the magic and I grin as I go back into the dance with war. He lunges towards me with the rapier with an unplanned attack, I dodge out of the way and nick his neck with the edge of my blade as I do. I turn to look at him and he grins at me as he touches his neck. He lets his powers go and his sword vanishes as he walks towards me.
He pulls me close to him as he leans down to my ear. “Seems that was a lie. I have never been beaten before; I think I am in love.” He whispers in my ear and kisses my cheek before walking off to join the other Gods. I let the wings go as I control my rage; I watch him with a frown as he walks away. “Lucifer, is it okay if I fight her?” Aamon asks him.
“Go ahead, you can all fight her if you want.” He says with a grin as he turns and leans against the wall, Aamon runs towards with a grin on his face excited for the fight. I wait for him to get close to me before I raise my swords to block his attack, fighting him is like fighting Ark. Eventually he leaves an opening that ends up with him on his back laughing, I hold my sword to his throat as he lays on the ground laughing hysterically.
“I love it!” He yells with a grin as he gets up, I smile as I watch him.
“You are just like Ark, Aamon.” I say with a laugh, he grins at me and vanishes. I watch the other Gods to see if anyone wants to fight me, I frown when I notice one missing the magic warns me and I fall to the ground as a sword slash through where I was, I look up to see Sathanas holding the blade. I roll across the ground and stand as I raise a blade to block and I feel the strike, I look up at him to see him grin at me.
“Surprise does not work on me.” I say quietly.
“We shall see about that.” He says with a laugh, I feel the magic warn me and I jump to see a copy of him attack where I was, the wings glide me the ground away from them.
“Copies?” I ask with a laugh and both of them grin at me, before charging me. I find the copy has a slight shimmer to it as I fight them when it is under a certain light from the candles and I kill it leaving the original.
“How did you know which is me?” He asks as he brings his blade down on top of me and I block it.
“It is not perfect.” I say to him with a smile as I grab his arm and flip him onto his back with a blade at his throat.
“Lucifer says that as well.” He says as he smiles up at me, I feel someone appear behind me and I turn with a blade at their throat, and Beelzebub grins at me.
“Good thing I am not fighting otherwise I would have already lost. Lucifer would like you to come to the castle in a few days to talk. He has to leave the festival for responsibilities in our kingdom, he requests you leave the dogs at home.” Beelzebub with says with a smile and bows as he vanishes.
“Must have made a good impression, Morrigan.” Sathanas whispers into my ear as I feel him vanish.
Come to me.
All three appear in front of me with a grin. “Do not ever doubt my abilities again.” I say as I glare at the three of them and they nod. “Lucifer wants me to come to the castle in a few days to talk without you three.” I say to them and they glare at me. “I am going, whether you like it or not. I do not want to hear complaints, do you understand?” I ask them and they nod angrily. “You may speak.” I say with a smile.
“That was mean silencing me.” They say at the same time.
“You three complaining and warning me in my head would have made me lose that, do you want that?” I ask them and they frown as they shake their heads. “Good don’t do it again and I will not silence you.” I say with a grin, Vhaanth appears beside them with a proud smile.
“You did very well, Morrigan.” He says with a laugh. “Making him kill his own hound was perfect, he even enjoyed it.” He says as he laughs harder.
“Yes, I thought it would be a great start to the fight.” I say with a smile.
“Dhuna wishes to speak to you alone.” Vhaanth says to me with a frown, I look past him at Dhuna watching me and I feel my hands start shaking, I vanish the swords and nod to him as I cross my arms.
“Go away so we may speak.” I say to my three demigods, Cu Chulainn gives me a hesitant look. “I will let you know if I am in danger and you can come to rescue.” I say with a uneasy smile and he nods as he vanishes.
“Thank you, Morrigan.” Vhaanth says to me as he vanishes, Dhuna appears in front of me and I take a step back.
“What did you need, Dhuna?” I ask him with a forced smile.
“No need for fake smiles, Morrigan. You are not very good at them.” He says with a small smile, I frown at him. “I know you said not to say sorry, but I feel the need to.” He says to me with pain in his eyes.
“Apologies do not fit the deed done, Dhuna.” I say quietly.
“I know, but it can be a start. I am sorry, Morrigan.” He says quietly with a sad smile. “After seeing you fight, I know you could kill me if you wanted to. But for some reason you do not, you have the strength.” He says with a smile. “When Emnos comes back I want you to fight Lucifer again in front of him. He will see he is no match for you, and he will leave you alone.” Dhuna says as he looks away from me.
“I cannot kill you, because the thoughts of you being close enough to touch me, scares the hell out of me.” I say as I glare at him, he looks up at me with surprise.
“I scare you?” He asks me with a frown as he steps toward me, a wall of fire bursts into flame between us.
“Yes, you do.” I say quietly. “Is that all you wanted?” I ask him and he nods as he steps back and vanishes, the fire dies out as I feel the three demigods appear behind me.
“Morrigan, you need to find a way to fight that fear.” Macha whispers to me, I turn around and look at her.
“Would you be able to?” I ask her and I see pain in her eyes as she goes through the memories again and shakes her head. “Then do not presume to tell me to do something you are incapable of doing yourself.” I say quietly and she nods.
“Goddess Morrigan, you were fantastic in the arena today.” Babd says with a grin, and I smile at her.
“Keep training and you will be just as great.” I say with a laugh. “You and Macha go to our arena and train, if you smell cinnamon and vanilla vanish.” I say them and they nod as they vanish. “Go ahead and say what is on your mind Cu Chulainn.” I say as I look up at him.
“I think it is a bad idea.” He says to me with a frown.
“He knows I can beat him, no matter what tricks he pulls. He will not try anything.” I say with a smile. “Somehow he knows of the unspoken secret about my power and he tried it, that is when I won.” I say to him and he grins.
“What did Dhuna want? I saw you put flames up between you two.” He asks me with a frown.
“To say he is sorry and to tell me how to get Emnos off me when he comes back.” I say to him and I feel rage erupt in him. “Before you say anything, remember I am the one he did it to, so imagine how I feel.” I say with a sad smile, and he nods as he glares at the ground.
“What is his plan for Emnos?” He asks me angrily as he looks up at me.
“Fight Lucifer again with Emnos watching.” I say to him and he grins and laughs.
“He does have a good idea, Lucifer dwarfs him in power. Emnos is a tiny insect in comparison.” Cu Chulainn says as he laughs harder, an uneasy smile creeps onto my face as I think about it. “What is wrong?” He asks me with a frown.
“I am replaying the fight in my head, it seemed too easy. He is that strong and he didn’t try everything or at least to me it feels that way.” I say with a frown as I replay the memory, I am going to the forest to think on it. Do whatever you want.” I say to him and I vanish, the magic-soaked earth appearing around me and the trees that sway with no wind. I sit at the base of one as I replay the memory in my head over and over, and I realize he did not use all of his power on me. He pulled his punches and let me win, anger grows in me as I feel someone appear and I look up to see Cu Chulainn.
“Lucifer wants you to come to the castle.” He says with a frown.
“Has it already been a few days?” I ask confused and he nods with a sad smile. “Thank you Cu Chulainn.” I say as I stand up. “Go to the palace and wait for me.” I say with a smile and he gives me an uneasy frown and vanishes. I vanish and the main hall of the castle appears around me, Sathanas appears in front of me with a smile.
“He asked me to escort you.” He says as he bows, and then offers his arm, I take his arm and he leads me through the castle.
“Where am I having this talk with him?” I ask him as he leads me up the stairs, we turn down the main hallway and start towards the large double black doors. “I am not going in there, Sathanas.” I say as I stop and glare at him.
“It is the only place that is private in this castle, he wishes to have tea while you two talk privately.” Sathanas says with a frown, I look back at the doors, uneasiness taking over me. “Do not worry he will be a gentleman.” He says as he pulls me down the hallway, the doors open on their own as we reach them, he pushes me into the room and walks back out of the way of the doors as they close.
“Morrigan, come sit.” I hear Lucifer’s voice around the wall blocking the view of most of the room, I walk around it to see a large room with dark wood walls, tapestries and portraits decorate the walls a large window in the room sits wide open with the drapes pulled back out of the way. “Your way out if you need one.” I hear him say as I stare at the window, I look around the rest of the room to see a large bed with four posts around it with heavy drapes hanging down around it, a large wardrobe sits beside it with a large desk beside that. I look over to where he is to see a small table and two chairs sitting in front of a fireplace with a bookshelf sitting in the corner. I walk over to the chair across from him and sit as he pours tea into the cup for me, he holds up sugar and I shake my head, he places it back into the bowl.
“You did not use all your power in that fight.” I say as I frown at him and he laughs.
“I hope you are not angry with me, but I could not bring myself to cause you harm.” He says with a smile.
“I am angry, I wanted a real fight and you let me win.” I say quietly as I pick up the cup.
“I apologize, next time I will give you a real fight.” He says before sipping the tea out of his cup, I smell the tea before I drink it and I smell jasmine. I set the cup back down and look up at him. “Not your type?” He asks me with a small smile.
“No, it is not. I hate jasmine.” I say quietly as I watch him. “At times it seems you want to torment me with memories.” I say with a frown.
“What possible memory could jasmine hold for you?” He asks as he watches me.
“Emnos, smells of jasmine and lavender.” I say as I look down at the cup.
“I can get another tea.” He says to me.
“No, thank you. I prefer to talk about what you brought me here for.” I say with a small smile as I look up at him.
“I wanted to speak to you about your demigod.” He says with a frown.
“Which one? I have three.” I ask him.
“The one you are in a relationship with.” He says as his eyes glow.
“What about him?” I ask him with a frown.
“I do not approve of someone of your strength being with someone that is inferior.” He says as he watches me.
“It is a good thing I do not seek your approval.” I say quietly, as I rein in the rage inside me.
“I must insist on this, you should be with someone of your own kind.” He says with a frown.
“Lucifer, I do not care what you think of what I do. I do what I want because it makes me happy. I have spent a long time trying to make others happy and I am done. He is what I want and I keep him.” I say to him with an annoyed look.
“You do a wonderful job of reigning in your anger. But I am telling you to end it.” He says with a glare.
“Or what?” I ask him.
“I will end the agreement.” He says to me. “I do not care who you are with after that, but that is my requirement for the peace you are enjoying.” He says with a frown. “If you do not do as I say, I will flood all the cities and towns with every creature I have murdering every human in sight.” He says as his eyes glow as he glares at me, I stand up glaring down at him.
“Do it.”
I feel tears in my eyes as the words echo through my head, he watches me as I stand there killing the anger as fast as it appears, I hate her and I hate him. “Fine, I will do as you say. Do not ask anything else of me, or I will end it myself by killing you.” I say as I glare down at him and he nods, I try to vanish and nothing happens.
“You will leave when we are done talking. Sit.” He says to me and I look over at the window to see it closed, fear bubbles up inside me as I stare at the closed window. “Sit.” He says angrily, and I sit down on the chair. “Your fear is a remarkable thing, just a few things and it swells up like an ocean dragging you under. Making you weak.” He says as he smiles at me when I look back at him.
“What do you want to talk about now?” I ask him as I glance over at the window.
“Since you are going to be leader of the Gods, you need to get on better standing with all of them. Meaning Dhuna, and Emnos. I expect you to get over this weakness and become friendly with him again and when Emnos returns get friendly with him as well.” He says as he watches me with a smirk.
“You do not know Emnos like I do. Any type of kindness and he will take advantage of it.” I say quietly as I glance at the closed window.
“Not if you show him who is stronger and who is in charge.” Lucifer says with a frown. “You also need to remind Vhaanth of his place, he is second in command.” He says as he watches me look at the window again.
“Easier said than done with a God that stubborn who refuses to take orders from a woman.” I say quietly as I look at the window, I hear him stand up and I look up at him.
“You need to get rid of that weakness, Morrigan.” He says as he takes a step closer, I stand and put the chair in between us. He smiles as he touches the chair and it vanishes, I back away from him as he walks towards me. I call for my swords but the magic pulls away from me. “Magic hates fear, and it will fail you while you are afraid.” He says as he continues to walk toward me. “Right now, you reek of fear.” He says with a smile as I feel my back hit the wall.
“Stay away from me.” I say quietly as I watch him, he laughs as he closes the distance between us, I feel his hands on my hips and he picks me up sliding me up against the wall.
“Call your magic.” He says with a grin, as he leans towards me, I push my hands against his chest.
“Put me down, now.” I say as I push harder and his grin widens, he kisses me and I slap him. He presses his body against mine as he kisses me, I slap him harder and he ignores it as he kisses me. I feel tears down my face as I try to push him off me, his eyes glow as he watches me.
“Let go of the fear, otherwise you are helpless.”
I cannot, I know what is going to happen.
“If you let go of the fear it will not happen.”
I try to bring out the anger but fear rises in me as I feel his hands move, I feel him grab my thighs and wrap them around his waist as he continues kissing me, I try to fight him by kicking him but his grip tightens causing pain to shoot through my thighs. He pulls away from the kiss with a grin.
“This is too easy, Morrigan.” He says with a laugh as I feel him pull my dress out of the way, I punch him and he laughs again as he kisses me again. I move my head out of the kiss pressing it against the wall and he starts kissing my neck.
“Stop this, Lucifer.” I say as I push at his head.
“Why? Nothing is going to happen.” He whispers against my neck and bites me, pain shoots through me as I hear the door to the room open, I see Aamon walk in and anger takes over as he notices us.
“Lucifer, put her down.” Aamon says angrily.
“Why should I?” Lucifer says as he pulls his head away from me and looks over at him with a grin.
“What you are doing is wrong.” Aamon says as he looks at me and sees the fear in my eyes.
“What are you going to do about it? You are weak, get out of here or I will give you pain.” Lucifer says angrily, I see Aamon hesitate with fear in his eyes, as he watches Lucifer start kissing my neck again, I feel his hands in between my legs.
“Lucifer, stop please.” I whisper as I feel my underwear move.
“Let go of the fear, Morrigan. If only for just a moment, think of Agravain if you have to.”
I close my eyes and think of Agravain in his place and I feel anger start to rise in me as I feel his fingers inside me, electricity shoots through me and I drop to the floor. I open my eyes to see Lucifer laying on the floor across the room, I stand up and run past Aamon out the door. I look through the halls for an open window, I finally see one and I run as fast as I can as I reach for the magic and I fly out the window. I fly away from the castle as I far as I can go until fear starts to take over again and I feel the magic coming undone around me and I glide to the ground as I change. I vanish my room appearing around me, I sit on the floor trying to calm myself down. I feel someone appear in the room and I slide myself across the floor away from them as I look up to Cu Chulainn, he looks down at me with a frown.
