I dodge several of his attacks as I wait for an opening, once I see it, I strike his sword grazes past me as I step towards him raising a sword to his throat. “Do you give up?” I ask him as I stare into his icy blue eyes.
“You are quite good at melee, Morrigan. I give up.” He says with a small smile as he vanishes. I turn to see Durmada, he gives me a gentle smile, I frown as I try to remember what he is the God of as the arena goes dark. I feel something moving in the darkness around me, I hold out the swords as I close my eyes letting the magic tell me where an attack is coming from, then I remember Illusion. I feel an attack from my right as I feel the sword lift to block, I swing the left one around to feel it tap against something, I open my eyes to see Durmada smiling at me with a sword against his throat. The light returns around us.
“Do you give up?” I ask him and he nods with a smile as he vanishes, I look across the arena to see Garvit, a rapier in his hand with a frown on his face. I walk towards him as he walks to me, when we are within striking distance he slashes down with his sword my sword already completing the journey to block his as the other points at his throat. “Do you give up?” I ask him.
“No.” He says as his sword smacks mine away from his throat, I let him try to attack me I parry some of his strikes others I dodge completely, letting the magic guide me when he leaves a large enough opening and I slam him on his back with my swords at his throat.
“Do you give up?” I ask him as I feel rage igniting in me again.
“Yes, Morrigan.” He says with a small smile, I stand as he vanishes, vanishing back to my side of the arena to see who I am fighting next. Ante appears with a large hammer in two hands, I smile as I wait for the attack, he vanishes as I move to the side the hammer comes crashing down where I had just been I raise a sword to his throat.
“Do you give up?” I ask him, he shakes his head as he vanishes, I move to the side as the hammer hits the ground beside me as I raise my sword to his throat. “Do you give up?” I ask him with a frown.
“No.” He says with a grin as he swings the hammer towards me I step out of the radius of the swings as he continues swinging at me, I start to see a pattern in the swings I step into the hole in the pattern raising my sword to his throat.
“Do you give up?” I ask him with a glare and he nods as he vanishes, I look across the arena to see Lumen he has a large sword in his hand. He charges toward me I step to the left as the sword falls to hit the ground I raise a sword to his throat as I glare at him, he nods and vanishes. I look back across the arena to see Theros grinning at me, I laugh as I walk to him.
“Hey laughing at a man, undermines his self confidence.” Theros says as he runs towards me with a smile as he swings the spear, I dodge sliding across the ground as I raise a sword up to tap against his throat.
“Do you give up?” I ask him with a laugh.
“Just couldn’t let me win this one, could you?” He asks me with a grin as he helps me stand up.
“Sorry, Theros I want freedom.” I say as I hug him, I let go of him as he vanishes, I vanish back to my side to see Ark waiting with a smile, I smile at him as we charge towards each other. As much as I love fighting him, I want this to be over quickly as soon as I see an opening I take it with my sword on his throat.
“I wasn’t sure if you were going to let me win or not. I am glad to see you prefer freedom, Morrigan.” Ark says as he grins down at me, I watch him vanish as I vanish to my side. All that is left is Emnos, rage like I have never felt before erupts inside me as I watch him appear. I let it take over with the magic, I feel a disturbance in the air behind me, I glance behind me to see two large wings made of crow feathers coming from my back. I look back to Emnos as my eyes glow brighter as the rage takes over, I raise a sword as I feel the arena flying past me I see him raise his swords to block me I let myself turn slightly as I come up to him with a sword sliding in between his swords and his face to point it at his neck.
“Do you give up?” I ask him feeling my voice echo through the arena.
“No, you are mine.” Emnos says angrily as he vanishes I move blocking the strike as soon as it appears. We spend what seems like eternity fighting, until I finally pounce landing him on his stomach on the ground, I kneel on his back looking down at the violet eyes glaring up at me.
“Do you give up?” I ask him.
“I am calling this one a loss.” Vhaanth says angrily. “Emnos, give in you will not beat her.” He says as he appears beside us.
“I will get you back, Morrigan.” Emnos says with a grin as he vanishes, I stand up as I let go of the rage, I see fear in Vhaanth’s eyes as he looks down at me.
“What is wrong, Vhaanth?” I ask him with a frown, he lifts a hand to my head and touches my temple. I see a woman who looks like me with glowing blue eyes with the same lilac swirl, her eyes have murderous rage in them as she glares at me, black crow wings sprout from her back as white feather fall around her. Fear shoots through me as I watch her walk towards me as weapons just like mine appear in her hands. Then I see Vhaanth’s face again.
“That was Morrigu, this one is you.” He says as he touches my temple again, I see me standing in the arena glaring at Emnos, I watch as the wings sprout from my back just like it did for her, I see my eyes brighten in intensity as rage takes them over. I watch as I fly across the arena quickly towards Emnos, then I see Vhaanth’s face again. “You have just a tiny portion of her power, Morrigu. You were able to summon Gods wings as a demigod.” He says with a frown.
“What does that mean?” I ask him.
“You are stronger than you are supposed to be.” He says as he raises a hand, I feel the magic between Emnos and I break apart, I feel all of her abilities leave as it does. “But Creation wants you to have those abilities, so I am taking you to place to get them back.” He says with a uneasy smile as I feel his hand on my shoulder, we vanish I watch as a forest appears around us. “I will sit here and wait; you are going into Morrigu’s home inside the mountain. I have been there before; I do not care to return.” He says as he sits down on a log. “Vanish here when you are done.” He says with a frown up at me.
“Yes, Vhaanth.” I say to him, I look over to where I feel a magical pulse calling me. I walk towards the small mountain that lies in the center of the forest we are in, when I reach it, I look around for any sign of an entrance. I push away vines growing up the rock face, as I walk along it, I finally see a small opening I kneel down on both knees as I wonder if I am going to fit.
I stick my head into the hole, and I push my shoulders through the gap I see it is wider up ahead, I wriggle myself through the hole once I am through, I get up on my hands and knees crawling through the small space. I almost fall when I go to place my hand on the ground to find open space instead, I feel alone the edge to find I am going to have to climb down. I send out a small flame as I climb down so I can see in the darkness, once I reach the floor, I turn around I send the flame around the large room. I see large boulders laying on the floor obscuring my view further into the room, I make my way past them to see a large stone statue of a crow sitting behind a stone throne. I walk closer as I notice a skeleton sitting on the throne, I look at the etchings in the stone throne to see pictures of battlefields with men laying on the ground in them they are dying from weapons stabbed into them as a crow flies over the battlefield. I look up at the skeleton realizing who it is, Morrigu. I touch the shoulder of the skeleton and magic floods into me, I feel the familiar magic I had from being claimed flooding into me, this time there is no chain, no link, and no binding magic involved.
I stand up as I vanish, Vhaanth appearing in front of me. He looks up at me as he stands. “Did you get it?” He asks me and I nod to him, he gives me a small smile. “Creation wants you to learn magic, it is something that takes a long to master. Are you willing to learn?” He asks me with a frown.
“Yes, I am.” I say with a grin and he laughs. “Thank you for saving me, Vhaanth.” I say quietly as I watch his blue eyes.
“I just wish I could have done it sooner.” He says with a frown. “Brenna is going to teach you, she is the only sorceress I trust with you. The good news it you will see Ark while you are being taught, very select few know where she lives.” He says with a smile as he touches my shoulder and we vanish.
A large open cave appears around us, it is so well lit and homey looking it is difficult to think of it as a cave, I see candles lit everywhere with tapestries, rugs, statues, tables, and chairs. One section of the room is draped off to the rest of it, a woman with wavy red hair and green eyes walks through the drapes looking over at us with a wide grin.
“Vhaanth, it is always a pleasure to see you.” Brenna says as she walks over to us, she looks at me with a smile. “I am guessing this is Morrigan?” She asks Vhaanth as she watches me.
“Yes, it is Brenna. She needs to learn magic and I thought of you immediately.” Vhaanth says with a smile, I feel her magic probing mine as a frown comes over her face.
“Part of her is incredibly strong, the other part, the one I will be teaching is quite weak. The strong part what is it from?” She asks as she looks back at Vhaanth.
“She is a demigod, that part is from her reincarnation.” Vhaanth says to her.
“Who?” Brenna asks him with a frown.
“Morrigu.” He answers.
“The Phantom Queen.” She says as she smiles at me.
“Yes, so will you teach her?” Vhaanth asks her.
“Yes, I will. You were right to bring her to me.” Brenna says as she watches me. “I smell Emnos on her, will he be trying to find her?” She asks him with a frown.
“He will try, but I have blocked her off so he cannot sense her.” Vhaanth says with a laugh.
“Good, my father would kill him if he came anywhere near me.” Brenna says with a frown at me.
“I think your father would kill him if he found out what Emnos did to her.” Vhaanth says quietly.
“He knows her?” Brenna asks with a grin.
“Yes, he had claimed her for a while to protect her. But Emnos ripped her out of his hands.” Vhaanth says with a frown.
“Your father is Ark?” I ask her with excitement.
“Yes, like him?” She asks with a grin.
“I love him, I am envious of you though. He is actually your father.” I say with laugh.
“If I know him, he thinks of you as a daughter as well. Otherwise, he would not have risked my mothers wrath for claiming a demigod.” She says with a laugh.
“She was very angry at first until we explained to her, then she was okay with it.” I say with a smile.
“It was a promise they made a long time ago, if demigods ever came back, he would not claim one.” Brenna says to me.
“He broke his promise for me?” I ask her with a frown.
“Yes, so he feels the same way for you.” Brenna says with a smile.
“Brenna, I need to talk to you privately, for just a moment.” Vhaanth says to her.
“Morrigan, through that doorway over there is a library. Go ahead and start reading.” Brenna says with a smile as she points to a doorway, I nod to her as I walk to the doorway. Inside a room full of bookshelves appears before me, I walk into the room and I grab a random book I sit down in the chair in the room, to start reading.
I finish the book, closing it as I stand and I return it to the shelf, I walk back into the main room to see no one there. I walk over to the cave entrance; I see a large forest around us and a large plain past the trees. I look around to see if she is outside of the cave, I see her no where.
“Brenna?” I say out loud, I hear no sounds coming from inside, I walk back into the cave over to the drapes, I move them aside to see a bed. She is not there, I look around the room to see if there are any other doorways, to see none. I walk over to the cave entrance, I reach out to the magic to turn into a crow. I feel my body changing as the magic wraps itself around me, I take off into the air flying straight up to avoid the trees. I glide around in wide circles to try to find her, I see her no where near the mountain, I fly to the large plain and land. I think of Ark’s mansion and I vanish. Ark appears in front of me, with an amused look on his face when he looks down at me.
“A crow?” He asks me as he kneels with a laugh.
“Where is Brenna?” I ask him, he frowns.
“She should be at her home.” He says as he watches me.
“She is not, I looked for her.” I say to him, Ark holds his hand out to me, I hop onto it and he places me on his shoulder as he vanishes. Her cave appears around us; I feel him use magic, his frown deepens. I feel magic build in him, then I feel it explode out of him, I see anger and fear appear on his face. “Where is she, Ark?” I ask him.
“Emnos.” He says angrily, I see rage take over as we vanish. Emnos’ room appears around us, I see Brenna standing in a corner with rage on her face, I look where she is to see Emnos sitting on a chair with a grin on his face.
“Take her and leave.” I whisper into Ark’s ear, he nods as I fly off and land on one of the bed posts.
“Nice to have you visit, love.” Emnos says as he watches me, as I feel them vanish.
“Why did you take her?” I ask him.
“Because I can.” Emnos says with a grin. “Change back into your human form.” He says as he stands.
“No.” I say as I look around at the windows, they are all shut, I try to vanish but nothing happens, I feel fear rise in me as I watch him.
“I will keep taking things from you until I get what is mine, this time I didn’t touch Brenna. Next time she might not be so lucky.” Emnos says with a grin.
“Why are you this way?” I ask him as I fly to another post away from him.
“It is the way I am.” He says as his eyes glow, I look at the window behind the bed, I know this is going to hurt. I fly off the post to the other side of the room he turns to watch me, I fly as fast as I can towards the window tucking my wings around me before I make it to the window. I look back at him as I crash through the glass, pain shoots through me as shards of glass penetrate my back, I turn to fly to fall instead. I cannot flap my wings because of the glass, I hit the ground hard, I stand up as I start hoping across the ground, I feel someone appear behind me. I try to hop faster as I feel someone grab me, and we vanish.
I look up to see Ark’s green eyes looking down at me in worry, he turns me over in his hands I feel him removing the shards of glass from my back making pain shoot through me every time.
“Change so I can see the damage it did to your human body.” Ark says to me once the glass is gone.
“You do not want that.” I say as I control my breathing from the pain.
“Why?” He asks me as he looks down at me with a frown.
“I come back in an inappropriate state, bring me to Aife.” I say to him and he nods, I feel us vanish again, Aife looks up at him from her chair. She sees me in his hands and laughs.
“Saving birds now Ark?” She asks with a smile as she stands and walks over to us.
“Morrigan, she is hurt.” Ark says with a small smile, Aife takes a closer look at me with a frown, she holds out her hands and Ark gently places me on her hands, I feel him vanish.
“When I change it is not appropriate for men to be in the room.” I say to her and she laughs as she nods, she places me on the floor and steps back, I release the magic. I feel pain shoot through me from the wounds as I change back into my human form, I see concern on her face once the change stops. She holds up a hand to me as I feel magic from her pour into me.
“What did you do to yourself?” She asks with a frown as she pours magic into the wounds.
“Emnos had Brenna, after Ark took her out, I tried to vanish, it was blocked. So, I took the only escape I saw, through a window.” I say as I clench my teeth against the pain, I see rage in her eyes.
“Thank you for helping to save Brenna.” She says quietly as she lowers her hand.
“Emnos told me he is going to take everything from me, he said he did not touch her this time but she might not be lucky next time.” I say as I stand up in front of her.
“Brenna will die if he does.” Aife says as she glares at the floor.
“Why?” I ask her as I watch her.
“A curse, put on her by a vindictive sorceress. It is why Brenna lives away from everyone.” She says angrily as she looks back up at me.
“How can we keep him from finding her again?” I ask her with a frown.
“I do not even know how he found her in the first place.” Aife says angrily. “Let’s get some clothes on you, Ark wants to check on you. Then we can talk.” She says as she walks to the wardrobe, after I am dressed Ark appears in the room, I see anger raging through him as he appears.
“Brenna has moved her home.” Ark says angrily.
“Good, how did he find her?” Aife asks him with a frown, Ark looks at me.
“Somehow he has a magic tracker in Morrigan.” Ark says angrily as his hands turn into fists; I see Aife frown at him.
“I did not sense one while I healed her.” Aife says to him.
“You are not allowed near Brenna again, I am sorry Morrigan.” Ark says as he walks towards me I see him raise a hand to me as soon as I feel his touch I feel him vanish me. Vhaanth’s room appears around me, I look up at him as he turns.
“Any other ideas for me to learn magic?” I ask him.
“I can try teaching you.” Vhaanth says with a sad smile, I nod at him, he walks to me and he touches my shoulder I feel us vanish. A library appears around us, he leads me to a smaller portion of it. “Knowledge is important when learning magic, history for the most part. If you learn from past mistakes others have made, you are less likely to repeat them. Read these books, come back to me when you are done.” He says as he looks up at the books.
“Yes, Vhaanth.” I say to him as I pick up a book, I feel him vanish. I sit down in the nearby chair and start reading.
I feel someone appear in the room, after I am halfway through the bookshelf Vhaanth wanted me to read, I look up to see Dhuna, I glare at him. “What do you want?” I ask him angrily as I set the book in my lap.
“He is not going to stop, Morrigan. Every time you have something you enjoy, he is going to take it.” Dhuna says to me with a frown.
“What could he take from me right now?” I ask him angrily.
“Nothing for the moment, eventually you will have something he can take from you again, and he will.” Dhuna says as he looks down at the floor.
“Leave Dhuna.” I say as I pick the book back up to start reading again, I feel him vanish.
I finish the books Vhaanth wanted me to read, I slide the last book back into the shelf as I vanish. Vhaanth smiles at me, when I appear in his room. “Now for the part you are going to enjoy, we fight.” Vhaanth says with a grin as he touches me and we vanish, an arena appears around us. “Go to your side, Morrigan, and no melee.” He says as he vanishes, I vanish to the opposite side of him. He immediately starts throwing magic my way as soon as I appear, I reach into my magic and throw the few things I had learned on my own back at him. As we exchange magic across the arena I realize my magic is learning his magic, and as I use my own it gets stronger.
Vhaanth and I do this every day without breaks, for several weeks. I throw a fireball at him as I feel someone appear in the room, I look over to see Emnos watching. Vhaanth motions for me to stop, I hold the fire in my fists as I glare at Emnos.
“What is it you need Emnos?” Vhaanth asks him.
“Nothing much, Vhaanth.” Emnos says with a smile as he watches him, my magic warns me as I watch Emnos vanish, I run towards Vhaanth. I hear Vhaanth make a pain sound as Emnos appears behind him with a curved blade through his back. I release the magic as I run towards Emnos, the swords appearing in my hands as rage ignites inside me. He looks back at me with a grin and vanishes. I look down at Vhaanth, and he smiles at me.
“Wait for me, I will be back soon.” He says as I watch the life fade from his eyes, I feel Adam appear in the room and I hear him run over to me.
“What happened?” Adam asks me angrily.
“Emnos, keeping his promise.” I say quietly. “I am going to kill him.” I say angrily as I look up at Adam.
“Demigods are not allowed to kill Gods unless under orders from another God. If you try the magic will stop you before you can land the killing blow.” Adam says with a frown. “Vhaanth will be back, just wait patiently.” Adam says with a sad smile.
“When?” I ask him angrily.
“He comes back around two hundred years after death.” Adam says as he watches me.
“Where do the sorceresses go to learn?” I ask him.
“I do not know.” Adam says as I vanish, Ark’s mansion appears around me, I watch as Ark appears in front of me. He frowns down at me.
“Where do sorceresses go to learn?” I ask him as I look at the floor, I feel a touch on my shoulder and I feel him vanish me. I look around the room to see a sorceress, I feel her magic.
“How can I help you?” She asks me with a smile.
“I need training in battling with magic, I already have the knowledge.” I say angrily, she touches me and I feel her vanish me. An arena smaller than the ones I am used to appears around me, I see women fighting with magic, one standing to the side watching, motions me over. I walk to her and I see her raise a hand to fire magic at me, we starting firing all types of magic at each other.
Every day in the arena I fight a sorceress, they all leave the arena four times a day, it is annoying. Once for breakfast, then lunch, and then dinner, just to leave soon after coming back to sleep. I feel that I am learning at a very slow pace, increasing my irritation and frustration. Along with my anger towards Emnos.
I fire a large fireball at the sorceress, she dodges it as I feel someone appear in the room, I look over to see Vhaanth and I smile as a fireball hits me. I stand back up to glare at the sorceress who grins at me, I run to Vhaanth with a grin on my face.
“Has it been two hundred years already?” I ask him as I look up at him.
“Yes, want to start training again?” He asks me with a smile, I nod and I feel his hand on my shoulder as we vanish, Emnos’ room appears around us. I look around confused, I see Emnos sitting in the chair smiling at me.
“Good job, Durmada. I didn’t think she would fall for it.” Emnos says with a laugh, swords appear in my hands as I glare at him, I feel the fake Vhaanth try to grab my arm, I turn to him bashing my head into his face watching him fall back away from me as he changes into Durmada. I turn back to glare at Emnos, Adam’s words echo through my head, I clench my swords in irritation as I try to vanish, to find he blocked me again.
“I will eventually find a way to kill you, Emnos.” I say quietly as I feel the rage storm inside me, he laughs as he watches me.
“Maybe you will, but I will come back.” He says with a grin, I see the window I went through before. I walk over to it across the bed and slam my fist against it, it stays intact. I glare back at him as he laughs. “I learned my lesson from last time, love.” He says as he stands to face me.
“Here is a new lesson then.” I say with a smile as my swords vanish, I gather the magic inside me letting it loose on the room setting everything on fire. Emnos runs towards me to grab me, I run along the back of the bed hoping off the side of it. I see a part of the wall I had focused most of the fire on weakening, I kick it as hard as I can. I fall to the floor and start wriggling through the hole I made to the outside, I look up to see Emnos reaching for me with a glare on his face. I feel myself fall as I finally make it through the hole, I reach out to the magic to turn into a crow and fly away from the mansion as fast as I can. I try to vanish repeatedly until it finally allows me to and I fly straight into Vhaanth’s desk, pain shoots through my head as I lay on the floor trying to get my senses back.
I feel someone appear in the room, I look up to see Adam, he frowns down at me. “How did a crow get in here? I thought I felt Morrigan.” He says as he kneels down looking at me closer.
“I am Morrigan.” I say angrily as I hop onto my feet, Adam laughs. “Bring me to a room to get dressed and stop laughing.” I say to him as I hop onto his shoulder.
“Why are you in that form?” He asks me as he walks out of the room with me.
“I was training magic with the sorceresses, then Vhaanth appears. He asks me if I want to train more, and of course I say yes, he vanishes with me to Emnos’ room. It was Durmada using an illusion, I had to set fire to Emnos’ room to escape.” I say angrily.
“It has only been fifty years Morrigan.” Adam says with a sad smile.
“I have trouble keeping up with time.” I say angrily, Adam opens a door to a Ladies visiting room I fly off his shoulder landing on the floor.
“How about after you are dressed, we talk for a bit?” Adam asks me with a smile.
“I would like that, Adam.” I say as I look up at him, he grins at me and closes the door leaving me alone, I change back into human form and walk over to the wardrobe pulling the rope as I reach it. A maid walks into the room, she dresses me in a dress again, as she leaves the room I open the door to see Adam leaning against the wall waiting for me.
“I prefer you in this form.” He says with a laugh.
“I prefer this form as well; I am tired of having to get a new outfit every time I change.” I say with a frown as I walk to him.
“I am going to help you with the Durmada portion of your problem. Next time you have someone visit you, ask them a question only you and that person know the answer to.” Adam says with a grin. “It baffles Durmada every time.” Adam adds as he offers his arm to me.
“Thank you, that will help for next time.” I say as I take his arm with a smile, he leads me through the halls. “Has Emnos always been this way?” I ask Adam as I look down the hallway ahead of us.
“Yes, Emnos finds something he wants and he obsesses over it. Dhuna helps him because Emnos turns into something quite dangerous when he does not get what he wants.” Adam says quietly.
“So, how do I get him to not want me anymore?” I ask him.
“I do not know. But no matter where you run, he will find you.” Adam says quietly.
“Does Vhaanth have maps?” I ask Adam as I pull him to a stop and look up at him.
“Yes, why?” Adam asks me with a frown.
“Where are they?” I ask him with a smile.
“His room, in his desk.” Adam says as his frowns deepens, I let go of him and vanish. I walk over to Vhaanth’s desk and pull out the drawers, I see the maps I grab them and roll them out on top of the desk. I look at each of the maps trying to find the place Vhaanth took me to, to get the abilities I have, I find it as someone appears in the room. I look around the area, I glance up when I hear them come towards me to see Emnos glaring at me. I grab the map and vanish, the forest appears around me, I run down the small path away from the forest. I feel someone appear behind me, I glance back to see Emnos with his back turned to me, I turn into the crow and fly off as he turns.
I fly as far from him as I can, as I fly, I notice a stone castle in the distance to my right, I turn to fly towards it. Once I reach it, I see humans down below walking outside the castle, I fly into one of the windows, I look around to see it is a bedroom and it is empty. I change back into my human form and walk to the small wardrobe, I open the doors to see men’s clothing inside it as I hear the door open. Hazel eyes look down at me under black hair with a grin.
“May I ask what you are doing in my room?” He asks me as he pushes the door closed behind him, I grab one of the shirts and slip it on quickly.
“I apologize for the intrusion, sir.” I say as I watch him close the wardrobe door.
“Sir? Who are you?” He asks me with a laugh.
“Morrigan, I am a demigod.” I say as I take a step back from him, I look at him closely, I notice his short red hair is slightly messy on top of his head, he wears clothes that are meant for a noble.
“A demigod?” He asks as he laughs harder. “Creation must love me.” He says as he stops laughing and a malicious grin appears on his face as he walks towards me.
“Who are you?” I ask him as I notice the murderous intent in his eyes, making fear bubble up inside me.
“Cu Chulainn, but you probably do not remember me. I used to be Morrigu’s demigod.” He says as he reaches out towards me, I back up quickly out of his reach.
“No, I do not remember you. I am sorry for intruding, may I leave?” I ask him quietly.
“No, I think not. You may not have her memories, but you look just like her, that is enough for me.” He says as he corners me, I feel someone appear in the room.
“I will have to intrude on whatever is happening here.” I hear Emnos’ voice, Cu Chulainn turn to look at him.
“Who are you?” He asks Emnos angrily.
“Her God.” Emnos answers, I slide across the wall away from Cu Chulainn as they focus on each other.
“She doesn’t feel claimed.” Cu Chulainn says angrily.
“Small disagreement, which will end as soon as I get my hands on her.” Emnos says as he looks over at me with a grin.
“Do you know who she is?” Cu Chulainn asks him angrily.
“Yes.” Emnos says as he watches me slide across the wall away from them.
“She is the reincarnation of Morrigu, she can leave after I am done ripping her apart!” Cu Chulainn yells angrily at Emnos.
“I need her alive.” Emnos says as he looks back at Cu Chulainn with a glare.
“Better luck in her next life.” Cu Chulainn says angrily as he turns to me and a sword appears in his hand, I turn into a crow and fly out the window, I fly as high as I can go to get out of reach of those two. I fly away from the castle, I look down at the ground to see a man running down the road, I turn away from the road to see him follow. He looks up at me as he runs, he is Cu Chulainn, I fly down closer making sure not to get too close, just close enough to yell at each other.
“Why are you following me?” I yell at him.
“Because once I get my hands on you, you are dead!” He yells back at me angrily.
“I did nothing to you!” I yell at him.
“You are her reincarnation, that is good enough for me!” He yells angrily up at me, he is annoying, I vanish Theros’ mansion appearing around me. I see it is summer festival again from the maids outfits that are running out of the dining hall, I glide through the halls to the platforms on the ocean. I see Theros in the water and I glide over to him landing on his shoulder.
“Is Emnos here?” I whisper to him.
“No, I find it strange.” Theros says with a frown.
“Take me to your room.” I whisper to him and he nods, we vanish a large open room appears around us one wall of the room is nonexistent. It leads straight to the large balcony overlooking the ocean, a large bed sits in the center of the room with a wardrobe against one wall, with a small desk beside it.
“What do you need, Morrigan?” Theros asks me with a smile as I fly off him and land on the desk.
“Clothes, for the moment.” I say to him, he walks over to the wardrobe and pulls out a dress that makes me think of a sunset, it has oranges reds purples blues and pinks on it. “And a maid.” I say with a laugh, he grins at me and pulls the rope, a maid walks in to glare at Theros.
“She needs to be dressed.” He says pointing at me, the maid frowns at me.
“Theros, I think you drank too much mead. That is a crow, not a woman.” The maid says as she glares back up at him, and he laughs.
“She is a demigod in crow form.” He says as he grins down at her, the maid takes the dress and walks to me. Theros leans back against the wardrobe and watches.
“Theros, I am not changing with you in the room.” I say to him.
“Absolutely no fun, Morrigan.” He says with a grin and vanishes, I release the magic and feel my body change quicker than usual into human form. I look down to see the shirt I took is still on me and I grin.
“Why do you have a man’s shirt on?” The maid asks me with a frown.
“I had to steal it when the man walked into his room.” I say with an uneasy smile, she pulls the shirt off me tossing it to the side and helps me put the dress on and ties it up in the back. “Thank you, miss.” I say to her as she walks back to the maid door, she turns and bows to me before leaving. Theros appears in the room again, he looks over at me and I see his grin widen, I frown at him and look down. The torso is the lowest I have ever worn, it covers as much as the outfit he has the women wear in water. “You have a problem, Theros.” I say as I look back up at him with a frown.
“I know, but at least I don’t suffer from it.” He says with a laugh as he walks over to me.
“I found out I am not the only demigod alive.” I say as I look up at him.
“Yeah, I know a few have been created since you.” He says with a smile.
“No, I mean one older than me.” I say to him.
“Really? Who?” He asks with a frown.
“Cu Chulainn, he used to be Morrigu’s demigod. He wanted to kill me.” I say with a frown.
“Stay away from him, Morrigan. I have read about him; he can turn his face into that of a demon. Anyone who unlucky enough to be in between the jaws of his demon form dies, and I mean in the permanent way, no reincarnations ever.” Theros says with concern on his face.
“Thank you for the information, I will make sure to avoid him at all costs.” I say with an uneasy smile, I feel someone appear behind me. I turn to see a man with long black hair and gold eyes, I frown at him and he grins at me.
“Aiwass why are you in my room?” Theros asks him angrily.
“I saw the bird; I want to hold the bird.” Aiwass says with a laugh.
“Is he okay?” I whisper to Theros as I turn to stand beside Theros.
“No, he is not okay. He is a lunatic.” Theros says as he frowns at him.
“Who are you?” Aiwass asks as he walks towards me.
“Morrigan.” I say with a frown as I back up a step.
“I am Aiwass, God of Frenzy.” He says with a grin. “You feel like a demigod.” He whispers in my ear as he appears behind me as his arms wrap around me.
“Get your hands off her Aiwass.” Theros says angrily.
“Say yes, and I will make you mine.” He whispers in my ear.
“No, get off me.” I say angrily and I feel him vanish.
“He is strange, I think Creation has lost her mind.” Theros says with a frown.
“I would have to agree with you after meeting him.” I say with a laugh. “Do you know of a place I can go that a tracker cannot be followed?” I ask Theros.
“No, not really.” Theros says with a sad smile, I feel someone else appear in the room. I turn to see Emnos charging at me with a glare, I vanish, Vhaanth’s room appears around me. I walk away from the center of the room to see if he will follow, Adam appears in the center of the room and smiles at me.
“Find anything on the map?” He asks me and I shake my head.
“I did find a demigod older than me, though. He tried to kill me.” I say with a frown.
“Who?” Adam asks me.
“Cu Chulainn.” I answer.
“Stay far away, he has a bone to pick with Morrigu.” Adam says with concern on his face.
“Yeah, he told me as much.” I say as I watch Emnos appear beside Adam.
“Would you leave her alone?” Adam asks him angrily as he glares at him.
“Why should I? She is mine.” Emnos asks with a grin.
“If you want her, fight her.” Adam says angrily, the magic warns me and I vanish behind Adam as Emnos appears where I had been with a hand reaching out.
“I will not let you touch me, Emnos.” I say quietly as he glares at me, I vanish the sorceress’s arena appearing around me again. The sorceress I usually fight noticing me, I raise a hand as flames engulf it and she grins as she runs towards me shooting magic my way.
