“Sounds like I already know the right choice.” Emnos says as he grins at me.
“Really, Emnos?” Dhuna asks him angrily.
“She needs to save the world again, that is important stuff.” Emnos says with a laugh.
“If I go with you Emnos, you have to promise me some things.” I say as I glare at him.
“What things?” He asks me with a smile.
“No intimacy, no getting angry because I will not sit in one room all day. No getting angry because I want to fly.” I say to him angrily.
“I cannot promise the first one, but the other two I can.” Emnos says with a grin.
“Just because you hang around me does not mean we get into bed naked, Emnos.” I say as I glare at him.
“We may not make it to bed that way but we will come out that way.” He says with a laugh.
“You are more despicable than I thought.” Dhuna says as he glares at Emnos.
“Just think how angry Cu Chulainn would be, if he saw I was with her.” Emnos says as he giggles, I glare at him.
“I do not want to take a chance with Father Time, to me it is not worth being stuck in a room with him while a war wages outside. Emnos, you get to be lucky again.” I say with a sad smile.
“You will not regret it, love.” Emnos says as he wraps his arms around my waist as he looks down into my eyes.
“I think I am already starting to.” I say with a frown, and Dhuna erupts into hysterical laughter. “I need to check on my kingdom, I have been gone for eleven months that I know of.” I say with a sad smile, Emnos nods to me and we vanish. The throne room appears around us, the seneschal runs over to me.
“Where have you been, Goddess Morrigan?” He asks me with a frown.
“She has no concept of time, how long has she been gone?” Emnos asks him.
“A little over eleven months.” The seneschal says as he frowns at me. “What does that mean?” He asks us.
“That eleven months felt like a day to her.” Emnos says to him.
“That is dangerous. I shall make a note of it in the seneschal recordings for the next ones.” He says with a frown.
“That would be a good idea.” Emnos says with a smile, the seneschal runs out of the room as Emnos leads me over to the throne. “Do you know I still love you?” He asks me.
“No, I still have the feelings the demigod magic gave me. But I can ignore them.” I say with a smile and he laughs.
“I would love to give it another try, this time without me trying to control you.” He says to me with a grin.
“What about you sleeping around?” I ask him with a frown.
“Well, I will not do it. And this time if I do you can kill me with no trouble at all.” He says with a laugh.
“Killing you would not benefit me, then I would lose time again.” I say angrily.
“Dhuna would help you.” He says with a smile. “With me helping you gauge time you can heal.” He says with a sad smile.
“Morrigu was in love with Lust, and then Lust left her for Love.” I say to him with a frown.
“Adam is with Love, or Esme.” He says with a laugh.
“Was she here for the war?” I ask him with a frown.
“No, she doesn’t like fighting.” He says with a smile.
“I will give you a chance, Emnos. Do not hurt me again.” I say quietly, and he nods.
“I promise.” He says as he leans down and kisses me.
“Did you know you were the one that made me want to fight?” I ask him when he leans back away from me.
“Really?” He asks me with a grin.
“Yes, the words you said made me want to fight.” I say with a smile.
“What were they?” He asks me with a frown.
“You need to get angry, and stop feeling sorry for yourself.” I say to him with a grin.
“Well, I do have nuggets of wisdom like that from time to time.” He says with a laugh, I feel someone appear in the room and we look over at Aurelia and Cu Chulainn. “Perfect moment.” Emnos says with a grin as he watches Cu Chulainn.
“What is Emnos doing here, Goddess Morrigan?” Aurelia asks me with a frown.
“With his arms wrapped around you.” Cu Chulainn says angrily as he glares at us.
“Emnos is my lover now, he is going to help me with time.” I say to her with a smile, and Emnos giggles as Cu Chulainn’s face goes red with anger.
“Oh, I was going to offer.” She says with a laugh.
“There is no need, I have him.” I say with a smile, I see Cu Chulainn open his mouth to yell.
“Silence.” Aurelia says to him, he starts mouthing words as his face turns redder.
“That is beautiful.” Emnos says as he watches him and then kisses me, before looking at Cu Chulainn again and laughs. “Morrigan and I are thinking of getting married.” He says to Aurelia as he laughs harder, Cu Chulainn starts stomping on the ground in anger.
“Cu Chulainn, why are you angry?” I ask him as I walk to him. “You asked me to disown you, without you I lost everything. Time, safety, happiness. You have no right.” I say as I glare at him and he looks at me with guilt and pain. “I loved you more than anything and more than I thought possible. Just because I was not willing to sacrifice all the humans in the world for you, you abandoned me.” I say to him as I feel a tear fall down my face. “You found your happiness, now let me find mine.” I say as I walk away from him back to Emnos, I feel them vanish.
“Is that what really happened?” Emnos asks me with a frown.
“Yes, Lucifer said that he was inferior and told me that if I did not give him up, he would unleash all the creatures on the world. So, I did as he asked. Some time later after him avoiding me he comes to me and asks me to disown him, so I did. The last thing I said to him after I disowned him was, I hope you find the happiness you deserve.” I say to him, Emnos hugs me.
“I am sorry, Morrigan.” He whispers to me. “I never realized you gave up that much for the humans and for the Gods.” He says as he hugs me tighter.
“I prefer not to be acknowledged; I prefer to work from the shadows.” I say quietly.
“You really did that for us?” The seneschal asks me, I look over at him.
“Not a word to anyone.” I say angrily, and he grins.
“How could I not say anything?” He asks me with a laugh. “I was wondering why there were no creatures, people had started to think they were fake.” He says with a smile. “One of the seneschal’s wrote a note about how you went four days straight killing creatures for people, and then collapsed in the throne and went to sleep.” He says as he walks towards me. “Did that happen?” He asks me.
“Yes, it did.” I say to him.
“Another says you killed all the attackers and then helped all the people in town bury their dead, and then you took all those dead bodies of the attackers back to the king and threw them onto the floor around his throne, then the knight who did it you sealed into a tomb and buried underground. Did that happen?” He asks me.
“Yes, it did. I forgot about Mordred.” I say with a frown, and Emnos laughs hysterically.
“I never knew you cared for humans so much, Morrigan.” The seneschal says with a sad smile.
“They deserve happiness too, however fleeting their life is.” I say with a smile. “How about we go dig up an angry immortal knight?” I ask Emnos and he laughs harder and nods. “We will be back later, seneschal.” He laughs and nods, we vanish the Gods graveyard appearing around us.
“You buried him where no one would find him.” Emnos says with a giggle.
“Yes, I did.” I say with a smile as I walk over to the spot, I buried him in, I hold out a hand and remove the dirt, then lift the coffin, I release the magic on the coffin and Emnos slides it open. Mordred glares at me and Emnos laughs. “If I let you out, will you behave this time?” I ask him.
“I will find a way to kill you, Morrigan.” He says angrily.
“He sounds like he will be on his best behavior.” Emnos says as he laughs harder.
“You cannot kill me, Mordred. You may be immortal but you are still just a human.” I say with a smile.
“Then I will take everything you care about, this time that kingdom will be razed to the ground all the humans will die!” He yells angrily at me and Emnos slides it shut as he laughs.
“I think he needs more time.” Emnos says as he laughs harder, I laugh as I use magic to lay it back in the ground and seal it again, I replace the dirt on top of it. “You are a very diabolical Goddess. I love it.” Emnos says as he grabs me and kisses me.
“You are unfaithful to me; I might just do the same to you.” I say with a smile.
“Then from this moment on no women exist in the world, except you.” He says with a grin.
“That is a safe way of thinking.” I say with a laugh, as we vanish back to the throne room.
“No knight?” The seneschal asks me, and Emnos starts laughing again.
“He needs more time to think, he threatened to destroy the city.” Emnos says as he laughs harder.
“If you do not need me right now, seneschal. I would like to spend some time with Emnos.” I say to him with a smile.
“Take all the time you want, Morrigan. I can handle it.” He says with a smile, we vanish and my room appears around us.
“What are we doing here?” Emnos asks me with a grin.
“What are all the things we could do in a bedroom?” I ask him, his grin widens as he picks me up, I wrap my legs around him and I feel the bed underneath me as he kisses me. I feel my clothes vanish as his hands grab my hips, I wrap my arms around his neck as I feel his clothes vanish, he pulls away and looks down at me.
“Are you sure?” He asks me with a frown. “After everything that has happened, I don’t want to if you don’t want to.” He says to me as he watches me.
“Are you thinking that I want to because I think you want it?” I ask him with a laugh.
“Yes.” He says with a smile.
“Emnos, I want to because I want you.” I say with a grin, he laughs as he leans down and kisses me, I feel him push into me and he grins as I moan.
“I miss your sounds.” He whispers into my ear.
“If you miss it then stop stalling.” I say with a laugh, he kisses me.
I lay on the bed with him laying on top me as I watch him trace swirls on my chest and I frown at him, he gives me a confused look. “Why swirls?” I ask him.
“What do you mean?” He asks me.
“Every time we have done this and you stuck around after wards you trace circles, but now swirls.” I say to him and he grins.
“I just felt like doing swirls.” He says as it turns to circles.
“Why do I feel you are not telling me something?” I ask him.
“Because I am protecting someone.” He says with a laugh.
“There is only one person I know you would protect.” I say as I watch him, he grins at me. “You two share all your memories, all your thoughts, can see everything the other sees.” I say as I watch him and he laughs. “Tell him to stay out of your head, or I will come after him.” I say to him and he nods. I hear a knock on the door, Emnos gets up as our clothes appears and he opens the door, Dhuna walks in and looks over at me with a smile.
“She knows.” Emnos says to him, Dhuna’s face turns red as I see fear in his eyes then he looks at Emnos with a glare. “I didn’t tell her; do you seriously think I would tell someone who could kill us both while she lays on the bed that?” He asks him with a frown, Dhuna looks back at me and walks to the end of the bed.
“Did you know while you are reading you trace swirls on the book with your finger?” I ask him.
“No, Morrigan.” He says as he watches me.
“Stay out of his mind when we are together, Dhuna. It makes you look as bad as him.” I say with a grin, and he laughs.
“Yes, Morrigan. I will stay out of his mind; I am glad you are back with him.” He says with a smile.
“This time willingly.” I say with a laugh. “Though I will need your help Dhuna. I depend on you for this and as your leader I expect you to do as I say.” I say as I sit up with a serious look on my face, he nods as he turns serious.
“If you see Emnos with another woman, tell me immediately.” I say to him.
“I promise, Morrigan. I will tell you.” Dhuna says with a smile.
“She threatened to bury me alive.” Emnos says as he grins at Dhuna.
“Better than killing you.” Dhuna says with a grin.
“We dug up a relic earlier.” Emnos says as he starts laughing uncontrollably, Dhuna frowns at him and then starts laughing as hard as Emnos.
“Did you really forget him?” Dhuna asks me between laughs.
“Yes, I did. I had more important things on my mind.” I say with a smile.
“Morrigan, why have you not made a mansion?” Emnos asks me.
“I have a palace.” I say to him with a frown.
“Mansions give you more power.” He says with a laugh.
“I think that is the last thing she needs.” Dhuna says with a frown.
“It might make it easier to kill Lucifer.” Emnos says to him.
“You are right, maybe she could come out it with no limbs missing this time.” Dhuna says as he smiles at me.
“Missing limbs?” I ask with a frown.
“You let him stab you through the shoulder so you could stab his heart, as his last dying act he removed the arm.” Dhuna says with anger in his eyes.
“How do I have it then? I ask him as I lift the arm to look at it.
“Emnos and I regrew your arm.” Dhuna says with a smile.
“You tried to stab me.” Emnos says with a frown, and I laugh.
“I don’t remember it, the last thing I remember is the magic warning me to dodge. I knew I would not get another chance since I was alone so I ignored it and went for his heart. I knew I wouldn’t be able to cut his head off from the pain.” I say with a smile.
“Sometimes I am amazed by the things that come out of her mouth.” Emnos says with a frown, Dhuna looks over at him and then smiles.
“Sharing memories again?” I ask them and they nod.
“I will make sure all the Gods know.” Dhuna says to me with a bow and vanishes, I glare at the spot he was just standing.
“Yeah, he also saw the part where you prefer not to be acknowledged for your actions, he is just an ass like that.” Emnos says with a grin.
“She has always been that way; she hates the statues I made of her. Which are not in every city in the world. What has she done now?” Myrddin asks as he walks into the room to grin at me.
“She sacrificed her happiness for all of humankind, to appease a psycho God made by the bad version of creation.” Emnos says with a grin.
“Emnos.” I say angrily.
“I think that is going to need a more in-depth explanation.” Myrddin says with a smile. “Where is Cu Chulainn?” He asks me with a frown.
“That would be the happiness she sacrificed.” Emnos says with a grin.
“If he is dead, he will come back.” Myrddin says with a sad smile.
“He is not dead.” I say to Myrddin.
“He is alive?” He asks me with a frown.
“Yes, he is with the Goddess of Autumn.” I say with a smile.
“Who is this?” Myrddin asks me as he looks at Emnos with a frown.
“Emnos.” I say to him, and he glares at Emnos.
“What spell did you use to trap her this time?” Myrddin asks him angrily as fire appears in his hand.
“No spells Myrddin, I am with him willingly.” I say with a laugh, I feel Myrddin’s magic probing me.
“How does he know about me?” Emnos asks me.
“When he was a child I told him about you, he told me he would grow up to be a powerful wizard and protect me from you.” I say with a smile as I think about it.
“You never smile like that.” Emnos says with a frown. “What is wrong with her?” Emnos asks Myrddin.
“That is called a mothers love, Emnos.” Myrddin says as he glares at him.
“She is not your mother, is she?” Emnos asks him.
“She didn’t give birth to me, but we love each other like she had.” Myrddin says as he smiles at me.
“How long have you two known each other?” Emnos asks him.
“A very very long time.” Myrddin says with a laugh. “She used to base the passage of years by my age.” Myrddin says with a laugh.
“She cannot tell time.” Emnos says to him, Myrddin frowns at me.
“That explains a lot.” Myrddin says as he watches me. “So, Emnos tell me everything Morrigan sacrificed for the human race.” Myrddin says with a smile at him. We sit for hours while I listen to Emnos tell him the story with my help, Myrddin kept giving me sad looks during all of it. Emnos made sure not to leave out any detail, especially of the battle with Lucifer and then the fight in the forest.
“Morrigan, I always knew you cared about humans. But that is way above what I had ever thought you would have done.” Myrddin says quietly as he watches me. “The arm is perfect.” He says as he examines it and moves it around.
“Thank you, I almost lost my head doing it.” Emnos says with a grin. “She was delirious after the battle and started swinging the arm she had left with a sword in it at my brother and I.” Emnos says to him.
“Thank you for looking after her when Cu Chulainn failed her.” Myrddin says to him with a smile.
“I love her, I have done a lot of bad things to her. But I do love her, I even killed her once. I regret it everyday.” Emnos says with a frown.
“I wanted to die, I said what I needed to, to make you do it.” I say with a laugh.
“Why?” Emnos asks me with a frown.
“I needed the reincarnation to get stronger, and I wanted away from you. My dying words were disowning you.” I say to him with a smile.
“You really need to tell me about everything, so I can write a book about it.” Myrddin says with a laugh.
“That is the last thing I want.” I say with a frown.
“Well, people are already learning of your deeds. The statues I made of you are changing to reflect it.” Myrddin says with a grin.
“You are an evil child.” I say as I glare at him.
“I only do it because I want everyone to know how great you are.” He says with a grin.
“I went to a city I have not been in since I was a child at one point, all the people started bowing to me!” I yell angrily. “That is when I found another one of those hellish statues.” I say as I glare at him, he laughs.
“Where did the scar come from by the way?” Myrddin asks me with a frown.
“Headless horseman with a human spine whip.” I say with a frown.
“Why didn’t you have it healed?” He asks me.
“She is the Goddess of War; she should have a scar to show the battle she has been in.” Emnos says with a grin. “At one point she came to me with over forty bites on her body during that battle.” Emnos says as he smiles at me. “She fought me about being healed, wanting to go back.” He says with a laugh. “She had almost no blood left from the fang ladies biting her and drinking her blood.” He adds.
“By the Gods Morrigan, were you trying to die?” Myrddin asks me with a frown.
“I was trying to keep other Gods from dying.” I say with a sad smile.
“You should show him the dance you do while fighting.” Emnos says with a grin. “It is very attractive.” He adds with a laugh.
“Dance?” Myrddin asks me.
“It is a skill of mine, called Dance with War.” I say to him with a smile. “I will call my demigod and we can show you.” I say as I stand, they touch my shoulders and we vanish.
Come to me Babd.
She appears in front of me excited. “Dance with me?” I ask her and she laughs as her blades appear, mine appear and she attacks as I go into the dance. Once we are done, Myrddin gives me a strange look. “You may return to what you were doing Babd.” I say to her as I hug her and she hugs me back and then vanishes as my swords vanish. “What do you think of it Myrddin?” I ask him.
“It is very deadly.” He says with a laugh.
“When does Lucifer come back?” I ask Emnos with a frown.
“Still three hundred ninety-nine years, love.” Emnos says with a smile.
“Morrigan, when you met me, how old was I?” Myrddin asks me.
“You were eight years old.” I say with a grin.
“When did you meet him?” Emnos asks me.
“After I revived the castle, when you tried to catch me, I flew from here to the castle he was living in.” I say with a smile as I think of first meeting him.
“That was a really long time ago.” Emnos says with a frown. “How are you still alive, are your immortal?” Emnos asks him.
“Yep, Morrigan told me when I was a child that I was immortal. I asked her what would happen if I got married, she did not have much of an answer for me.” Myrddin says with a sad smile. “She has been there for me all of the hardest times of my life, and even stopped me from killing human.” Myrddin says with a smile, I feel someone appear and I look up to see Dhuna.
“Myrddin this is my twin, Dhuna.” Emnos says to him, Myrddin looks over at him and laughs.
“Myrddin, there was a time I did something unforgiveable to her. During times of suffering, she would say your name repeatedly as if it was a prayer.” Dhuna says to him, Myrddin looks over at me with pain in his eyes.
“Do not attack Dhuna.” I say to him and he nods. “Emnos if you and Dhuna could leave us for a bit, I want to show Myrddin something.” I say to them and they nod and vanish, I motion Myrddin to me he frowns as he walks over to me and sits on the bed beside me. “I am going to take the pain out of all of it, but I want you to see it.” I say to him with a smile, I touch his temple and I show him all my memories without the pain. I watch as the sun goes down outside as I wait for him to see all of it, then the sun coming back up again. By the time it is almost night again he has seen them all and I take my hand away.
He stares at me for a few minutes as he processes all the memories, and then he smiles at me. “Thank you for the gift, Morrigan. I will make sure to write that book.” Myrddin says with a grin and I laugh. “Cu Chulainn was wrong to do that, he should have done like you did. Put other lives before his own happiness, but some can do it and some cannot.” He says with a sad smile.
“Hey Morrigan, who is the old man?” Aamon asks as he walks in with a grin.
“Myrddin, you are Aamon right?” He asks Aamon.
“Yeah, how did you know?” Aamon asks him with a frown.
“I gave him all my memories.” I say with a smile.
“By the way, Morrigan. Can I see the Circle?” Myrddin asks me.
“Yes.”
“Yes, you can. Be back later Aamon.” I say to him with a smile as I touch Myrddin and we vanish, he looks around in awe of the Circle. I lead him by the hand to the slab and I place his hand on it, I watch him as he talks to her. He finally takes his hand off the slab and frowns at it.
“That is Creation?” He asks me and I nod.
“I have seen a slab like this before, but the area around it was the complete opposite of this. I did not like the place so I left as quick as I could, who is that?” He asks me with a frown.
“Carnage, the one who created Lucifer.” I say to him, take his hand and we vanish, the Gods cemetery appears around us. He looks around at all the graves.
“What is this place?” He asks me.
“A place that can never be known to humans, this is where all the bodies of the Gods are placed after death.” I say to him.
“I will never show a human this place, the magical energy here is intense.” He says quietly, we vanish and I show him the strange swaying trees, he grins as he watches them. We vanish again and the throne room appears around us.
“That is everything I wanted to show you, you now know everything there is to know about me.” I say with a smile. “There is one more thing I want to show you, do not be afraid.” I say to him as I let go of his hand and back away from him, I let the rage out of me, I feel the wings appear and my eyes glow as the white feathers fall down around me. He watches me with a grin, then I let it all go returning to normal.
“What is that?” He asks me.
“When Gods reach a certain power, they are able to do things like that.” I say with a laugh.
“That is yours?” He asks me and I nod. “How do you bring it forward?” He asks me with a frown.
“Anger, is how I get my power.” I say to him.
“Explains the look on your face while you were showing me.” He says with a small smile.
“Myrddin are you staying here this time, or are you leaving again?” I ask him with a frown.
“I am leaving, I had planned on staying but Creation has other plans.” He says quietly, I feel Gods appear in the room.
“Morrigan, who is the human?” Theros asks me as he walks up beside me watching Myrddin.
“I am Myrddin.” He says with a smile.
“I have heard of you, one of the nobles I like hanging out with said you saved his city.” Theros says with a grin. “I am Theros, God of Summer, nice to meet you. Morrigan, you know him?” Theros asks me with a frown.
“She made me into who I am.” Myrddin says with a laugh.
“He is my son.” I say with a grin to Theros.
“That explains a lot, he took on the bandit king and killed off the horde that was trying to attack the city.” Theros says with a laugh. “Did you know there are statues of you every where, Morrigan?” Theros asks me with a frown, and Myrddin laughs.
“Myrddin’s way of punishing me.” I say with a frown as I cross my arms, Theros laughs.
“How is it a punishment? You are becoming one of most well known Gods across the world, before you know it you will have your own holiday like Bion and Vhaanth.” Theros asks me with a grin, Myrddin laughs.
“I prefer not to be acknowledged for my actions.” I say as I frown at him.
“It is too late for that, Morrigan.” Vhaanth says to me.
“Vhaanth is right, the statue in my city changed and the humans started gathering around it.” Ark says to me with a laugh.
“There is one in your city?” I ask him angrily.
“Yes, I have enjoyed having the statue. The humans decorate it for holidays.” Ark says with a grin.
“Time for me to go, Morrigan. I will see you in the next war.” Myrddin says with a grin and vanishes.
“He is a thorn in my side.” I say angrily, Vhaanth and Theros laughs. “What brought you here?” I ask them with a frown.
“Emnos tells us you have not made a mansion yet, we are here to explain the process.” Vhaanth says to me.
“I am here to make sure you put it on the beach.” Theros says with a grin, I laugh.
“Explain the process to me then, Emnos says it will make me stronger.” I say with a grin.
“It will, you would be amazed at how much the nexus inside it will boost your magic.” Vhaanth says with a grin.
“Which after what she managed to do, I would hate to be Lucifer in the next war.” Ark says with a grin.
“I want you to spend some time thinking about what you want the mansion to look like inside and out, all the rooms everything you think is needed.” Vhaanth says to me.
“Where am I going to put it?” I ask him with a frown.
“Somewhere on this island if you want.” He says with a laugh, I see the seneschal paying attention to our conversation and I motion him over, he runs over to me with a smile.
“Where would be an ideal spot to put it, that would not be in the way?” I ask the seneschal.
“It has to be near the humans.” Vhaanth says to him, he nods as he thinks.
“You could place it to the north of here and expand the city, it would make a lot of people happy since we are running out of space for people to live in the city.” The seneschal says with a smile.
“That sounds like a good idea, Morrigan.” Vhaanth says to me. “Want to take a walk to go look?” He asks me with a smile, I nod and Theros offers his arm to me I take it with a smile. Vhaanth, Ark, Theros and I walk out of the palace and through the city to the north gate, we make our way down the small road to the north part of the island.
We stand on the grass looking at the large space near the ocean. “It is perfect.” Theros says with a laugh as he looks around.
“Do you know what you want it to look like?” Vhaanth asks me, I nod to him. “There are some extra rooms you need to add, one is a large room with a bell it has to be big enough for all of the humans here.” He says to me with a smile.
“Why?” I ask him with a frown.
“It is called a sanctuary, when the bell rings the humans automatically come to the room without being shown the way. Once all of them are inside the door seals and multiple layers of protections raise up around it, nothing will get through it. Keeping all of them safe inside.” He says with a grin.
“That would be useful if the city is ever attacked again.” I say with a laugh.
“The bell automatically rings on its own if it feels any danger.” He says with a nod. “The other room is the nexus; you have to think of a symbol that you think represents you. The room will have a living version of that symbol inside it, that is what will give you the boost. But you need to hide it underground.” He says to me. “Close your eyes, I will lead you to the spot and think of everything in the mansion that you want and need.” Vhaanth says to me.
“Don’t forget to add a spot like mine on the ocean.” Theros says to me as I close my eyes, I laugh as I feel Vhaanth pull me. Once he pulls me to a stop, he turns me.
“Focus on it, and do not forget to add your own room to it.” Vhaanth whispers to me, I focus on it I feel magic pouring out of me into the ground around me, I start to hear the sounds of stones grating against each other. I open my eyes to see the hall I had pictured in my mind around us, Vhaanth smiles at me as I hear the doors open, I turn to see Ark and Theros walking in. We walk through the mansion to the large silver doors with a large crow on it, as we walk towards it the door opens on its own. We walk into a large room, the one I had imagined in my mind as my room.
The side of the room facing the ocean is open to the outside, a large bed sits over in the corner with a fireplace on the wall to the right near us with chairs sitting in front of it. A wardrobe sits against the wall to the left of us with a large mirror.
“You went kind of simple on the room, Morrigan. Where are the decorations and other things?” Theros asks me with a frown.
“I didn’t want it.” I say with a laugh. “Where is Emnos?” I ask them with a frown.
“He will be back soon.” Vhaanth says to me with a smile. “You should extend the protection of the city to the mansion for the humans, for when they expand.” He says to me, I nod as I reach into the magic. It is much easier than usual inside the mansion; I feel it reach out to me I send it into the ground below us connecting to my magic around the city. I feel the magic connect and extend the protections I have in place. I feel exhaustion rise as it connects draining the magic out of me, I feel my eyes getting heavy as I sway in place. I feel hands grab me, a bed appears under me as I feel the hands lay me down, I close my eyes and fall into a deep sleep.
I open my eyes and sit up quickly on the bed, I look around at the room that I had created. As I get off the bed, I feel the crushing weight of dread hit me I send out a pulse of magic to sense everything inside the mansion. I feel all the humans inside the mansion walking around, I sense no Gods inside the mansion. I vanish, the throne room appearing around me, I look around to see a strange man running over to me.
“Goddess Morrigan, you have woken up finally!” He says excitedly, I look up as fear shoots through me.
“How long have I been asleep?” I whisper to him as I watch him.
“Around two hundred years, I am your new seneschal. The previous ones hoped they would be the lucky one that you would wake up during their service, but I get to be the lucky one.” He says with a grin with excitement.
“Where are the Gods?” I ask him as I look around at the throne room noticing the subtle differences.
“I do not know; none have visited while I have worked here. Except the ones that live in the palace, of course.” He says with a frown.
“Emnos?” I ask him.
“I have never met that one.” He says with an uneasy smile. “Did you want to take petitions? I read that you do it a lot.” He says with a smile.
“I need to find out what is happening, something is wrong.” I say as I vanish, Emnos’ room appears around me. The mansion feels like death, I look around at the dust and cobwebs that have accumulated in the room, I feel a tear fall down my face as I vanish. Dhuna’s room appears around me, his room and mansion feel the same as Emnos’. I glare around at the room, I vanish Vhaanth’s room appearing around me. I look over to see him reading. “Where is Emnos and Dhuna?” I ask him angrily as I walk to his desk, he lowers the book as he gives me a sad look.
“They are dead.” He says to me.
“Who did it?” I ask him as anger rises in me, I feel the power come out of me as I glare down at him.
“Morrigan that is not a good idea.” Vhaanth says quietly.
“I do not care for what you think, I am the leader of the Gods. I demand you tell me who is responsible.” My voice echoes through his mansion, I feel Gods appear behind me, I glance to see Adam and a woman they look at me with concern. “Who is that?” My voice echoes.
“Esme, Goddess of Love, Goddess Morrigan.” She says quietly.
“Tell me who is responsible, now.” My voice echoes as I glare at the three of them.
“Cu Chulainn, he and some of Carnage’s Gods along with something new and powerful killed them. Emnos and Dhuna tried taking care of it before you went to sleep, they had almost beat them. After you fell asleep they were attacked and killed.” Vhaanth says quietly, I gather magic inside me and send it out across the world, I feel where Cu Chulainn is something sends a pulse back at me near him.
“Morrigan, do not go there.” Adam says to me, I walk to him as I glare at him.
“Do not tell me what to do.” My voice echoes through the mansion as I vanish, the throne room of the Carnage’s Gods castle appears around me. I see Cu Chulainn sitting on one of the thrones with another man, he has long blonde hair that falls past his shoulders and blue eyes. They both look over at me with a smirk, I glare at them as I walk to them.
“Sleeping Queen finally awakens.” The man says with a laugh.
“Why?” My voice echoes through the mansion as I glare at Cu Chulainn.
“I told you not to go near him.” He says as he glares at me.
