Chapter Seven

Why would he care about a God?
“He raised him, like you did Myrddin.”
I vanish and appear in Vhaanth’s room, I look up at him and I see sympathy on his face. “Take me to where the sleeping giants lie.” I say quietly, he nods and appears beside me, he touches me and I vanish. I stand up as I look around at the monstrously giant trees around me, I see a path ahead of me and I follow it. I feel movement in the forest around me, I keep my hands in the perfect spot to summon my swords and strike as I walk. A strange being walks out of the forest ahead of me, his body looks like a horse from the chest down, chest up he is a man and holding a bow at me as he pulls it taught. His long brown hair falling around his shoulder and his hazel eyes watching me.
“State your business, human.” He says angrily.
“Not human, I am a demigod. Creation sent me for the sword.” I say quietly as tears stream down my eyes. “Move or die, I prefer not to kill you.” I say quietly.
“The child has finally come?” He asks me with a frown.
“Tell him, ‘Yes Arthur has appeared, and ascended.’”
“Yes, Arthur has appeared, and ascended.” I say quietly, the creature moves out of my way and I continue walking, a large stone appears in front of me. The surface of the stone is see through and I see a sword inside it, I punch the stone and I see it crack. I release all my pain into the next strike, I watch as the stone shatters and the sword floats above the ground.
“This affects all Gods.” The creature says to me with a frown.
“I only care about one.” I whisper as I look up at him pain shattering my insides.
“I am sorry for your loss, demigod.” He says quietly, I grab the sword and vanish the throne room appearing around me. A god appears in front of me with a frown.
“State your name.” He says as he watches me and the sword.
“Morrigan.” I say quietly.
“Myrddin has told me about you.” He says with a smile. “I am Arthur.” He adds, I let go of the sword and let it float in front of me, I push my magic into the sword until it is full and I direct it at Arthur, he falls to his knees in pain as Myrddin walks in, I watch the sword vanish in front of me and I let the magic go.
“What did you to him?” Myrddin yells at me angrily.
“What I needed to so Cu Chulainn would remember me.” I say I look into Myrddin’s eyes as tears fall down my face.
“Get out, Morrigan.” Myrddin says angrily as he summons magic to attack me, I vanish and Vhaanth’s room appears around me.
“He tried to attack you?” Vhaanth asks me with a frown and I nod. “Why don’t you go to Theros, he might be able to cheer you up.” Vhaanth says with a sad smile, I vanish and Theros appears in front of me, I look up at him as tears fall down my face and he hugs me tightly.
“I am sorry, Morrigan. I tried to stop Emnos.” He whispers to me.
“Only two hundred more years.” I whisper.
“Creation told you?” He asks me and I nod against his chest. “How about we go to the platforms and enjoy the water, it might do you some good.” Theros says as he leads me down the hallway to a room, he opens the door and walks over to the wardrobe and pulls the rope, a maid walks in and looks at me sadly. “Dress her, be nice.” Theros says as he walks out of the room and closes the door, the maid pulls out a cloth from her dress and dries my eyes, then undresses me and dress me in the two-piece outfit, she opens the door and walks back to the maid door. Theros walks in and wraps an arm around me, we vanish and I feel the water rush in around me. I look around at the Gods assembled in the pool, Ark looks at me with sympathy and makes his way over to me, I feel him pull me into a hug.
“I am sorry for what I said, Morrigan. You brought out the best in him. I am sorry for your loss.” Ark says quietly as he hugs me tighter.
“Mourning the loss of the boy toy?” I hear Emnos say.
“Back off Emnos. Unlike you she actually loved him.” Theros says angrily.
“It wasn’t hard to kill him, the second time fighting him.” Emnos says with a laugh, I turn to face him and I look up into his violet eyes. “I told you I would take everything you enjoy.” He says with a smirk, I feel my rage explode in me I have never felt rage like this before as my eyes glow and the wings appear behind me, I see white feathers fall around me.
“Do not let emotion control your magic.”
I let my rage go, and I turn back to Ark and hug him as tears fall down my face. “Go away Emnos please.” I say quietly as my voice breaks.
“You did a good job controlling your rage.” Ark whispers to me as he rubs my back.
“Theros, I do not think I can stay out here. May I go to a room?” I ask him as I turn to look at him, he nods and holds a hand out I take it and we vanish; a bedroom appears around us. I walk over to the bed and lay down on my side facing the wall.
“If you need anything, Morrigan, let me know.” Theros says quietly and vanishes. I close my eyes and remember laying on the bed with him feeling his lips against mine, his smile the way he would touch my face his laugh. I hear the door open and I ignore it, I want to live in my memories for the next two hundred years. I feel a hand on my side.
“Go away, I want to be alone.” I say quietly.
“I, Emnos, God of Lust claim you Morrigan, as my demigod. You are mine.” I fight to get his hand off me the entire time he says it he watches me with a grin, I feel the chain form as tears fall down my face and the feelings return. I watch him as I feel love for him take over me. “Get up.” He says with a smile, I stand and look up at him he leans towards me and kisses me deeply as I feel his hands touch me all over. I feel myself falling back onto the bed as he kisses me deeply, I feel my clothes vanish and his as I feel something hard shove inside me.
I lay on the bed looking up at him as he pulls out me with a grin, I feel my clothes reappear on me, as I watch his reappear on him. “Just as good as I remember, love. Less fighting this time though.” He says with a laugh. “Get up.” He says and I stand, he leads me out of the room and back to the platforms as he wipes the tears off my face. “Smile, love. You are with me again.” He says as he smiles down at me and I smile up at him, he leads me out to the platforms and slides off into the water he holds his hands up and I fall into his hands. I see Theros and Ark watching Emnos with hatred, Emnos leads me over to a portion where no other Gods are and he picks me up I wrap my legs around him and my arms, he smiles at me.
“Why are Ark and Theros mad at you?” I ask him with a frown as I look over at them to see them still glaring at him.
“They do not want us to be together.” He says with a smile as he leans forward and kisses me, I kiss him back enjoying the feel of him.
“I love you Emnos.” I say with a small smile as I look into his eyes.
“I love you too Morrigan.” He says with a grin. We spend the rest of the day enjoying each others company talking and laughing, until the sun starts to set then we vanish to the room.
I watch him as he rings the bell, a maid walks into the room and pulls off the outfit and dresses me, Emnos offers his arm to me as she walks out of the room I take it and we vanish. The dining hall appearing around us, Emnos leads me over to the table and pulls out a chair and sits as he pats his lap. I sit down and feel him slide me back further on his lap, I smile down at him and kiss him. I hear a loud bang on the table and I look over to see Theros glaring at us angrily.
“Theros you are usually happy, what has you in such a foul mood?” I ask him with concern on my face, he looks at me with pain in his eyes.
“Nothing Morrigan, the cook forgot to make something.” He says with a sad smile.
“It will be fine; we can have it another night.” I say with a grin and he gives me a small smile.
“You’re right. I am sorry.” He says quietly, the maids stream into the room once everyone is seated and places plates in front of everyone, I pick up a piece of the meat with my fingers and hold it in front of Emnos’ face with a grin, he laughs and takes it. Then does the same to me and I take it from his fingers gently.
“I cannot wait until dinner is over, you and I are going to spend the entire night enjoying each other, love.” Emnos says as his grin widens, and I laugh.
“That is not appropriate at the dinner table, Emnos.” I say with a smile as I lean down and kiss him.
“I cannot help it; you make me say it.” He says with a laugh, I pick up another piece of meat and hold it up to him and he takes it as he stares into my eyes with a smile. “I think I am going to end dinner early; I want to spend it with her.” Emnos says with a smile and we vanish the bed appearing under my back as we fall into it, I feel my clothes vanish and watch his clothes vanish as his eyes glow. I watch him as he pushes me further up the bed, he brings his face in between my legs and I arch my back and moan as I feel his tongue in between my legs, pleasure shooting through me at his touch. Once he is done, I feel him drag me back towards him and something hard shove into me causing me moan again from the pleasure and the pain, he leans down and kisses me as I feel him shoving it into me repeatedly. I feel pleasure ball up inside me between my legs and spread through my body as my body tightens up, I hear him moan and pleasure shoots through me at hearing him make the sound. He starts shoving it into me harder and faster as he breaks away from the kiss, I feel his hands grip onto waist roughly as he continues even harder. He comes to a stop as I feel his muscles tighten and he smiles down at me.
“I miss you, love.” He whispers as he pushes me further up the bed again and lays his head on my chest, I play with his hair as he traces circles with his finger on my chest.
“I miss you too Emnos.” I say with a smile as I look into his eyes, and he grins at me, I close my eyes and fall asleep as I play with his hair.
I open my eyes and sit up, I see Dhuna sitting in the chair watching me. “Where is Emnos?” I ask him with a frown as I stand up and walk over to the wardrobe.
“He will meet us at the platforms.” Dhuna says as he watches me pull the bell, a maid walks in and dresses me in the two piece outfit. I turn to see Dhuna standing and offering me his arm, I take it and he leads me through the hallways. I hear a woman laugh from a hallway ahead of us and I see Emnos walk out into a hallway with a woman’s arm wrapped around his neck. I watch them kiss as he squeezes her bottom, I feel rage build in me, I let go of Dhuna and walk to Emnos.
“What is this, Emnos?” I yell angrily at him as the rage increases.
“This is a woman, Morrigan. I just got done having a little fun with her.” He says with a grin down at her, rage explodes through me as I grab her by the neck and jerk her away from him.
“Are you going to stop? We are together.” I say angrily as pain and rage mixes inside me as I look up at him.
“No, why would I? Let her go.” He says angrily I feel the magic make me let her go a sword appears in my hand and I thrust it through her back out the other side of her. I let it vanish as I look up at him with tears in my eyes.
“I hate you.” I whisper I feel a hand around my throat, I see murderous rage in his eyes. “Kill me it would hurt less than this.” I say angrily as tears fall down my face, we vanish his room appearing around us.
“Make him want to kill you. Do not let Dhuna intervene. Say theses words to him. ‘I Morrigan disown you, Emnos, God of Lust.’ Say it quick.”
“Why?” He yells angrily at me.
“Got rid of a whore who came between us.” I say angrily, I feel pain in my cheek as I watch the room fly by me, I feel my body hit the wall and then the floor. “I, Morrigan, disown you, Emnos, God of Lust.” I whisper and I feel the chain breaking, I hear him run over to me and grab me again lifting me to look into his eyes. “Anymore whores I need to kill? I have the ability to do it.” I say with a smile feeling pain shoot through my face, I close my eyes as I feel pain shoot through my face repeatedly, I feel my life slipping away and I am enjoying it. The void appears around me; I look around and I see Vhaanth. I grin at him as I walk to him.
“Creation wants you to know this is so you will come back stronger, yet another stepping stones for her end goal. I will make Adam keep Cu Chulainn from going after Emnos this time. He only has to wait two hundred years.” Vhaanth says with a smile.
“Make Adam silence him as well, he can disown Adam. He did it to Morrigu.” I say with a laugh.
“Though I am not sure Emnos make survive what he is going through right now.” Vhaanth says with a small smile.
“What is it?” I ask him with a frown, he raises a hand and a pool appears in front of me, I see Theros beating Emnos with his fists, Ark is picking me off the floor with rage and tears in his eyes. “Tell them, I am sorry.” I say to Vhaanth and he nods. “Tell Cu Chulainn I love him and I couldn’t wait that long for him, I am not strong like he is.” I say with a smile and Vhaanth smiles at me as he holds out a hand to me, I take it as I feel my world vanish around me.

Four hundred eighteen years later.
I stand annoyed in a Ladies room of the palace, as I wait for the maids to finish dressing me, once they are done I hop off the platform they had me on and run to the door. I open it to see Cu Chulainn and I grin at him, he smiles and offers his arm to me, I run over to him and take it. “Why do I have to wear all this?” I ask him with a frown.
“Because Myrddin would be unhappy to have you in those hunting clothes you run around in for such an important moment.” Cu Chulainn says with a laugh as he leads me down the hallway.
“I prefer them over this, this is very uncomfortable. What is this important moment? No one will tell me.” I ask him with a smirk.
“You will not get any information out of me this time, Morrigan.” Cu Chulainn says with a grin.
“You are no fun, when is it happening?” I ask him with a frown.
“When we walk through this door.” He says as he comes to a stop, with a smile, I watch him open the door to the throne room, I see Myrddin, Vhaanth, Adam, Ark, Theros, and Aiwass waiting for me I grin at all of them as Cu Chulainn walks me into the room.
“Are you ready?” Vhaanth asks me with a smile and I nod at him. I watch him touch my forehead the world falls away from me and a void takes its place, I frown at him.
“What is this?” I ask him.
“Where you remember who you are, dear.” He says as he offers his hand to me. “There will be some pain, but it is worth it I promise.” He says with a laugh and I take his hand. I see memories flash before my eyes of living as a princess, running away from home spending time with the Gods, becoming a demigod being with Ark, Emnos stealing me, Vhaanth saving me, Myrddin as a child, Cu Chulainn. Emnos capturing me again and pain shoots through my face, I hold it as tears fall from my eyes, my last thoughts welcoming death. The throne room appears around me again, I look around at them until I see Cu Chulainn and I smile as tears fall down my face.
I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him deeply, I feel his arms wrap around me holding me tight against him. He pulls his face away from mine and stares into my eyes. “Do not do that again, Adam is irritating when he silences me.” He whispers to me with a smile and I laugh.
“I wanted you when I came back, so I wanted them to do everything possible to keep you alive.” I say quietly as I pull him closer and kiss him again.
“Can we have our moment with Morrigan?” Ark asks angrily.
“Yeah I want a kiss like that too.” Theros says angrily.
“Me too!” Aiwass says as he laughs, I turn to look at them with a laugh.
“No kisses for you, except one on the cheek.” I say with a smile.
“I will take what I can get.” Theros says with a grin, I hug Ark tightly as he hugs me, I let go of him and hug Theros as I kiss him on the cheek and he giggles.
“Turning into Aiwass?” I ask with a laugh.
“Hell no, I just wasn’t expecting an actual kiss.” He says with a laugh as he hugs me tighter.
“Did you kill Emnos?” I ask him.
“I kept him alive for a few hundred years to give you a head start when you reincarnated.” Theros says with a grin, I kiss him all over his face and he laughs.
“I think he deserves that, don’t you?” I ask Cu Chulainn and he nods, I let go of him and I walk over to Aiwass. “If you promise not to come without warning, I will give you a kiss on the cheek. If I am in my room you knock. Okay?” I ask him and he nods excitedly, I grab his face and kiss him on the cheek and he giggles. I turn to Myrddin with a smile, I walk over to him. “I am sorry, but I needed that sword inside Arthur. I could not live with Cu Chulainn not remembering me.” I say to him, he smiles down at me.
“Vhaanth explained it all to me, the sword actually makes him a better person.” Myrddin says as he grabs me and holds me tightly as he hugs me, I hug him back.
“Welcome back, Morrigan.”
Thank you, Creation. Is it possible for me to get some private time to myself?
“Yes. You deserve it.”
I let go of Myrddin and I smile at them all. “Now if you will excuse me, I have something planned for Cu Chulainn. Do not disturb me or I will throw flames your way, naked.” I say angrily I grab Cu Chulainn’s hand and vanish to my room, he looks at me confused. I turn around and move my hair out of the way. “Untie.” I say to him, I feel the strings come loose and I drop the dress. “Untie.” I say with a laugh, I feel the corset come loose and I pull it over my head as I push the underskirt and underwear off me, I turn to look at him and he grins at me. “Just going to look at me naked? Or are you going to join me?” I ask him with a smile, I watch as he rips his shirt off and drops his pants. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him as he grabs my bottom and lifts me, I wrap my legs around him as I feel us fall back onto the bed.
“Are you sure?” He asks me as he pulls away from me with a frown.
“If you do not come back here I will set you on fire.” I say with a frown and he laughs.
“As you wish, Morrigan.” He says as he starts kissing me again, I feel something hard press against me in between my legs and I pull him with my legs towards me as I feel it slide inside me, pain and pleasure erupt through me at the same time as I feel his kisses trail down my jaw to my neck to my chest. “I love you.” He whispers as his eyes glow.
“I love you too.” I whisper back as my eyes glow; I feel him slide in and out of my gently as he kisses me pleasure shooting through me from feeling him inside me. It seems hours pass by as we enjoy each others bodies, I feel pleasure balling up inside me between my legs as it shoots through my body I tighten up all over, I feel him tighten up at the same time as he moans and kisses me deeply. He rolls over to the side and pulls me close to him as he wraps an arm around me. “Do not ever die again.” I whisper to him.
“As you wish, Morrigan.” He says with a smile down at me. “Creation gave me permission to tell you this myself, it was the thing she told me long ago that you asked me about and I could not tell you.” He says with a grin.
“What is it?” I ask him with a frown.
“You will become a Goddess.” He says with a laugh. “I want you to claim me as soon as you do. I already love you, so the magic will make no difference.” He says as he lightly kisses my lips.
“When? How?” I ask him as I frown at him.
“After something with Myrddin happens, she will call you to place where sleeping giants lie. You will fall into a deep sleep and transform into a Goddess.” He says with a grin.
“How long will I sleep?” I ask as I feel fear rise in me.
“Two hundred years.” He says as he watches me with concern.
“Do not die.” I say angrily as I glare at him and he laughs.
“I promise, I will not attack anything that moves. I will be there when you wake up free from Adam waiting for you to claim me.” He says with a laugh. “May I ask what made you comfortable with us doing this?” He asks me with a small smile.
“When I came back and you were not there, all I could think of was all the times you kissed me, held me, your touch, your eyes, your voice, your laugh. And then I thought of all the missed chances I had to be with you, and I decided I was not going to let it happen again.” I say as tears fall from my eyes. “Finding a world without you, was not a world worth living in.” I say quietly. “Creation gave me a way out that also benefitted her and I, and I welcomed it with open arms.” I say with a laugh.
“I heard Emnos claimed you, does he still have his claim?” He asks me with anger in his eyes.
“No, I disowned him before I died, as a final fuck off to him.” I say with a grin, and he laughs.
“But now we have all the time in the world, to enjoy each other. Creation told me we have over two hundred years before your ascension.” Cu Chulainn says with a grin. “Though we will have to take breaks so you can run the kingdom and we go out and kill more creatures.” He says with a laugh.
“What about Myrddin? And the other Gods cannot handle those creatures?” I ask with a laugh.
“I think someone has just realized how amazing I am in bed; she doesn’t want to leave it.” Cu Chulainn says with a grin.
“Yes, that is it. I do not want to leave this bed because of the amazing sex with you.” I say with a laugh.
“Sadly, I will have to disappoint you. Myrddin is going on a journey with Arthur, and the other Gods just cannot handle them like we can.” He says with a sigh. “Ark almost died to one, and Aife banned him from it.” He says with a sad smile.
“I cannot blame her.” I say with a smile, I reach out into my mind to see how much my magic has grown, to be surprised. The amount of magic I have now, makes me feel like I was just a child before.
“You have enough magic to do what you did to the palace and the city twenty times.”
What happened to private time?
“Just felt the need to let you know. I am giving it back to you now.”
“She needs something?” He asks me with a frown.
“No just letting me know I have enough magic to revive this palace and the city many times.” I say with a laugh, Cu Chulainn frowns and then looks at the bed and laughs. “What is wrong?” I ask him.
“Myrddin had been sleeping in here, I guess he will not be doing that anymore.” He says with a grin and I laugh.
“No, he will not. I am reclaiming my bed, now help me reclaim it again.” I say with a grin as I pull him on top of me as I kiss him.
We lay on the bed with our arms wrapped around each other, with smiles on our faces as we look at each other. “Just how many times in one day do you plan on reclaiming this bed?” He asks me with a grin.
“Until someone knocks on that door.” I say with a laugh, a knock sounds on the door and I glare at it. “Go away!” I yell at the door, and Cu Chulainn laughs.
“Morrigan, let me in or I am vanishing in there.” Vhaanth says angrily.
“You will see me naked if you do!” I yell at him.
“Morrigan! Get your clothes on!” He yells through the door and we laugh.
“I refuse!” I yell at him, I feel him appear in the room and I look up at him upside down. “I told you I am naked.” I say with a grin as his face turns red.
“Cover up with a blanket you stubborn woman!” He yells as he turns around.
“You cover up with a blanket. I am enjoying post ascension fun.” I say with a laugh.
“You have things you need to take care of, like reassuming the throne for one.” He says angrily.
“Come on, Vhaanth we have only been at this for a few hours, give us a few more.” Cu Chulainn says to him.
“No, there are things that need doing.” Vhaanth says angrily.
“Yeah, like Cu Chulainn. And I want to do him more.” I say with a grin as he laughs.
“Up! Now!” Vhaanth says angrily.
“He is not going to leave, is he?” Cu Chulainn asks me with a frown.
“I know one way to get him out.” I say with a grin.
“You would not dare!” Vhaanth yells angrily.
“Want to bet?” I ask him, and he vanishes, we both laugh.
“I like this new side of you, it is fun.” Cu Chulainn says with a grin.
“Show me just how much you like it.” I say with a laugh as I pull him back on top of me.
We lay on the bed in each others arms as we kiss enjoying the last of the pleasure running through us, to a knock on the door again. I glare at it. “We should get up he will just keep coming back.” Cu Chulainn says with a laugh as he gets off the bed, I watch him put on his clothes, after he done, he pulls me up off the bed and kisses me as he leads me over to my clothes. He slips the corset on me and turns me around to tie it up, then underwear and underskirt, to finally put the dress on me to tie it up in the back. He turns me around for another kiss then leads me to the door, we open to see Vhaanth’s red angry face.
“May you should try getting laid, Vhaanth. I might make you happier.” I say with a smile as I kiss him on the cheek and walk past him, Cu Chulainn leads me through the halls to the throne room where Myrddin and the seneschal wait for us.
“I abdicate the throne to Princess Morrigan.” Myrddin says with a smile as he looks at me.
“Nice to meet you, Princess Morrigan. The seneschal during your last reign made lots of notes for the seneschal who would be serving you next. I hope I live up to his expectations.” He says with a smile.
“Not bowing is a great start, keep doing that and loose the Princess. I hate hearing it.” I say with a grin, and he laughs.
“I thought he was joking. I will conform to meet your expectations, Morrigan.” He says with a smile.
“I could never break him from the habit, he looked like he was in physical pain when he called me Morrigan.” I say with a laugh. “I think we will have a great many years together. What is your name?” I ask him with a smile.
“Charles.” He says with a smile.
“Charles, is the state of the kingdom in need of any work?” I ask him.
“No, Morrigan. It is running perfectly, though I think you should take flight and see all the changes.” He says with a grin.
“I told him you could turn into a crow.” Cu Chulainn says with a laugh.
“I would love to feel the air in my feathers again, I will be back soon.” I say as I kiss Cu Chulainn and reach out to the magic feeling my body transform instantly.
“That is amazing.” Charles says as he watches me, I fly out of the throne room and out the open door to the city. I fly up into the sky to see a giant statue of me, I glare at it.
Why is there a statue?
“Myrddin had it made in honor of the woman who saved him and brought the kingdom back to life.”
I do not like it.
“I forget you prefer to work in the shadows.”
I do, I hate being recognized and people acting funny around me.
I fly around the city looking at each of the districts to see trade flourishing, all the districts are neat and well maintained and everyone is happy. I turn back to the palace to see the statue, flying back into the throne room I change and I glare at Myrddin. He smiles at me.
“Something not to your liking, Morrigan?” He asks me as his smile turns into a grin.
“The statue.” I say angrily, and Cu Chulainn laughs.
“I told you she would hate it.” He says with a laugh.
“I think it is the perfect likeness, what do you hate about it, Morrigan?” Charles asks me with a frown.
“That there is a giant statue of me.” I say angrily.
“She prefers not to get recognition.” Cu Chulainn says to him with a grin.
“She is very strange, is she not?” Charles asks him.
“I made the statue to show how much I love you.” Myrddin says with a grin.
“You made it?” I ask him with a frown.
“With magic, yes.” He says with a laugh.
“You make things harder for me.” I say with a glare at him.
“You cannot make me destroy something I made.” He says with a grin.
“Right.” I say with a frown. “And it is stuck in that place until you destroy or remove it.” I say angrily.
“Guess what I am not going to do.” Myrddin says with a laugh.
“You are an evil child.” I say as I smile at him.
“I learned from the best, dear mother.” He says with a smile, and I laugh as I hug him tightly.
“I can never stay mad at you.” I say to him.
“The one time I have gotten mad at you, I was wrong. So, it will never happen again.” He says as he hugs me tightly.
“Be careful with those creatures out there.” I say as I step back from him as Arthur appears at his side.
“I will have Arthur to protect me, don’t worry Morrigan.” Myrddin says with a grin.
“I will kill anything that comes anywhere near him with intent to hurt him.” Arthur says with a laugh, I watch as they vanish. I turn back to Cu Chulainn to see him offering his arm to me, I take it with a smile and he leads me out of the room.
“What happened to Dhuna?” I ask him.
“He is still alive; he is very angry.” Cu Chulainn says quietly. “He has made it very obvious that he blames you for everything that has happened, we will have to be very careful. Adam warned me that Dhuna this upset is very deadly.” He says as he looks down at me with concern.
“How can he be dangerous? He is the calm one.” I ask with a frown.
“Adam says he has a new obsession ever since Theros kept Emnos locked up just to kill him later. His new obsession is you, anything that gets in between him and whatever he is after will have no chance.” He says quietly.
“If we see him, we will just vanish.” I say with an uneasy smile up at him as fear sets in.
“There is a creature near here in the poor district.”
“She says there is a creature in the poor district.” I say to him with a frown, we vanish and small houses appear around us as a woman’s scream echoes around us, I let go of him and run towards the sound of it, I squeeze between the small houses to see a woman laying on the ground. I kneel beside her, she looks up at me as the life leaves her as water bubbles up out of her mouth. I look down at her throat to see a large bite taken out of it, I hear something run between the buildings up ahead of me. I look around to see the source, I see a shadow run past the alley up ahead of me, I stand up watching.
“Take her body to the palace.” I whisper to him, as I keep an eye on the darkness in front of us, I feel him vanish. I walk forward as my swords appear in my hands; I reach out with the magic as I squeeze between the two small buildings in front of me. As I make my way through the small alley I hear a strange sound, I freeze as I listen, it sounds like water bubbling with a clicking sound mixed in, I look around the corner of the building to see silver eyes watching me. Before I can react, it disappears in front of me, I push myself out from in between the buildings looking around as I listen. Something pounces on my back throwing me to the ground, I feel claws on my back shredding through fabric and skin, I scream out as pain shoots through me. I feel the weight disappear from me, I roll over to look around as I stand, I see silver eyes watching me in the darkness too far for me to be able to see what the thing is.
I walk slowly towards it, I see the eyes watching me as I get closer, it disappears I look around as the clicking noise and the water sound surrounds me. My magic is not reacting to this thing, I realize as I feel it hit me across the face knocking me to the ground, I look around to see it had disappeared again, I stand up as the sounds surround me again. I hold my swords up as I turn, the thing knocks me onto my back I feel the claws shredding through me again as I look up to see a large mouth with several rows of sharp fangs coming towards me quickly, I swing the sword at the creature with my free hand slicing through its torso and it disappears. I feel Cu Chulainn appear close to me, I hear him running towards me as the sound surrounds me again, I roll to get away from the creature. I feel teeth sink into my arm, I feel flesh being ripped away from me as I scream in pain, I hear Cu Chulainn’s sword sing through the air I look at my arm to see the creature’s head still attached to my arm. Cu Chulainn grabs its head and pulls its mouth open releasing my arm causing more pain to shoot through it, I feel my swords vanish as his hands pick me up, he cradles me in his arms and vanishes. Vhaanth’s room appears around us, I look over to Vhaanth who is running towards me with fear in his eyes as magic pours into me from him. Pain shoots through me from the magic trying to close the wounds, I feel another magic holding them apart, I shake my head at Vhaanth as the pain gets worse and I feel the magic leave me.
“Why are you not healing her?” Cu Chulainn asks him angrily.
“What creature did you two fight?” Vhaanth asks us with a frown.
“Drowned man, heal her.” He says angrily.
“It had been magically altered; her wounds cannot be healed by magic. Every time I try the magic in the wounds rips them further apart, she will have to heal on her own.” Vhaanth says as he looks down at me with worry.
“Nothing can heal her?” Cu Chulainn asks him quietly.
“No, I would suggest cleaning the wounds and bandaging them.” Vhaanth says quietly, I feel us vanish our room appearing around us, Cu Chulainn sits me on the bed as he unties my dress. He helps me stand as he pulls the dress off me, I do my best to ignore the pain but by the time he gets it off me I am shaking all over from it. I feel him pull the corset out of the wounds on both sides of me, feeling like my skin is being ripped off I grab his arms pushing him away.
“I am sorry, Morrigan. I have to do this.” I hear him whisper as he pulls it off my skin, I cry out in pain when he pulls it off the worst part. I feel him rip the corset in half, I watch as it hits the floor it is soaked in my blood. He walks over to the wardrobe and rings the bell; I hear a maid walk in. “I need bandages and something to clean the wounds.” He says quietly to the maid, I hear footsteps running away in the small corridor behind the maid door. He walks back over to me, I look up at him to see pain, anger, concern, and tears in his eyes. “I failed to protect you.” He says angrily.
“No, you did as I asked. I did not want that woman to lay in the dirt, she deserved better. I went off on my own, that is my fault.” I say with a smile, I hear the maid running back, the sound of wood hitting the stone as she runs. I look over at her to see her come in with a stool for me to sit on, she sets it down on the floor and I walk over and sit down on it. She wrings out a towel in the bowl and I see Cu Chulainn take it as I hear another one wring out.
“Princess, this is going to be painful. If you have a place to escape to, now is the time to do it.” The maid says quietly to me.
“Lets just get this over with, please.” I say quietly as I start shaking thinking of the pain to come, I watch as Cu Chulainn comes towards me with the towel, I close my eyes before he touches me with it. I feel the world turn as pain shoots through me, I keep myself as quiet as I can as nausea bubbles up inside of me from the pain.
“Morrigan, talk to me.”
Kind of busy.
“Stay focused on me, and you will not feel the pain.”

Can we expect anymore of them?
“Yes, they are one of her favorites.”
Am I going to be able to fight like this?
“Not at first.”
How long will it take to heal?
“The magic used does nothing to hinder natural healing, so a little over a week or two you will be back to fighting again.”
I need to find someone to help him.
“Vhaanth will help.”
He is an old man; he does not move quick. I hear laughing from her in my mind.
“He only makes himself look that way, once you are bandaged and dressed, I will send him to you. You will get to see him for what he really is, he makes himself look weak and old.”
Why?
“Loyalty to a human, when you love them that much can wear you down to doing things no one can understand.”
What human?
“I have made a promise to never speak of the human to anyone. But I think it is time he stops the nonsense.”
Are they done with me?
“Almost Cu Chulainn is wrapping you right now.”
“Thank you, Cu Chulainn.” I say as I look down at him.
“Tell her I said thank you, I noticed you stopped reacting to the pain when your eyes glowed in the strange way they do when you two talk.” He says with a smile. “I think a nightdress would be best for now.” He says as he ties the bandage on my arm.
“I have to agree with you.” I say with a smile. “I can always have Theros create something to wear outside the bedroom until I heal.” I say with a laugh, he grins as he stands up I stand and watch him go to the wardrobe and pull out a nightdress, between the two of us we get it on with minimal pain. I feel someone appear in the room as soon as the nightdress is on me, I look over to see a tall young handsome man looking down at me. His long black hair falls past his shoulders as his bright blue eyes with swirls of white watch me, as he grins at me.
“I have not seen you in this form in a while.” Cu Chulainn says with to him.
“Who are you?” I ask with a frown.
“Vhaanth.” He says with a deep lively voice, I laugh.
