Chapter Nineteen

“Aamon escort her to the room near yours.” Satan says as he frowns at me, Aamon walks over to me and offers his arm, I take it and he takes me out of the room. I look down each of the hallways looking for an open window, when I see one I let go of him and walk towards the window. I hear Aamon walking after me, I start running towards it as I reach for the magic to fall on my face mentally. The magic is blocked from me, I punch the window in anger and I watch it shatter, I smile at it as I start punching the walls angrily. I feel arms wrap around me to stop me.
“Let go of me, I am going to turn this castle into rubble with my fists.” I growl as I struggle against the arms.
“Morrigan, please stop fighting me.” Aamon says with a laugh.
“I do not want to hurt you, but I will do my best to escape.” I say angrily as I drop to knees sliding out his arms, I kick off from the ground and run down the hallway away from him. I punch walls as I go enjoying the holes I am making, I see a arm appear in front of me and grab me, I fight against them as I scream at them in anger.
“Hello Astaroth, thank you for catching her.” Aamon says as he runs up to us.
“She is a stubborn one.” Astaroth says angrily as he holds me in place.
“Yeah, but it is part of her charm.” Aamon says with a grin, I scream at him anger as I feel myself slide through the arms slightly, I look down and grin. “Morrigan, don’t he is in a bad mood already.” Aamon says quickly, and I bite the arm as hard as I can, the grip around me tightens and I bite harder. I feel someone appear, and I look over at Satan looking at me with an amused smirk, I glare at him, as I bite down harder.
“I can just imagine the trouble her father had with her.” Satan says as he watches us.
“She has a powerful grip.” Astaroth says with pain in his voice, I feel magic from Satan flood into me and I feel my body go limp along with my jaw. “Thank you, Satan.” Astaroth says to him I feel the grip loosen on me and I feel Aamon grab me and sling me over his shoulder.
“You are an ass.” I managed to get out slowly, I listen to the three of them laugh as Aamon carries me down the hallway.
“Who do you have, Aamon?” I hear someone ask as they laugh.
“Goddess of War.” Aamon says as he laughs.
“I see Satan has loosened her up.” The person says as they walk around behind Aamon and I feel them lift my head to look at them, I glare at Berith and he laughs harder.
“She is not being cooperative.” Aamon says as he turns around pulling my head out of Berith’s hand for my head to fall limp again.
“She has never seemed like the cooperative sort.” Berith says with a laugh, Aamon starts walking down the hallway again, he finally stops and I hear a door open he walks inside and gently places me on the bed.
“Make him release me.” I say angrily.
“Are you going to behave?” Aamon asks as he grins down at me.
“Never.” I say angrily. “I want to fly.” I add as I glare at him.
“Fly?” He asks me with a frown.
“Crow.” I say to him, I feel my body return to normal. I try to access the magic to find it is there, I grin as I change and fly out of the room, I fly down the hallways as I try to find an open window. I find they are all closed, the one I punches has been repaired as well, I feel someone catch me out of the air, I look up at white hair and white eyes. “Let me go.” I say angrily.
“The crow does not talk.” She says as she grins at me.
“The one that speaks in lies.” I say annoyed. “Aamon!” I yell as I try to wiggle out of her hands.
“The crow wants to be caged.” She says with a laugh, I bite her and she drops me I fly away from her, I see Aamon running towards me, I land on his shoulder.
“You really are a crow.” He says as he grins at me.
“I got caught by the crazy one.” I say angrily.
“Which one?” Aamon asks me with a laugh.
“The one that lies.” I say angrily, as she runs down the hall in front of us and stops.
“It does not talk.” She says with a giggle as she points at me.
“Keep that thing away from me.” I say to him and he laughs, she walks toward us as she grins at me. I change and glare at her, she frowns at me.
“Do not grab me like that, it is rude.” I say angrily.
“It is not rude; it is perfectly okay.” She says with a frown.
“Lucifer was right she is annoying.” I say annoyed, I feel arms wrap around me from behind.
“You said my name?” He whispers in my ear.
“Only to curse you.” I say angrily.
“Why don’t we finish what we started?” He asks me.
“I would rather spend an eternity with the girl who lies.” I say angrily, I feel his hands sliding down my body as Aamon turns around he sees Lucifer I see anger rage through him and I duck, as Aamon punches Lucifer. I run behind Aamon and grin at Lucifer on the ground.
“Leave her alone, Lucifer. I was told what you did.” Aamon says angrily as he glares down at him.
“All in good fun, Aamon.” Lucifer says with a laugh, I run down the hallway away from them as I look for the entrance, I run down the stairs watching where I am going to bump into someone when I hit the landing, I look up to see Beelzebub, he frowns at me.
“Where are you going, Morrigan?” He asks me.
“Just exploring.” I say with a smile, he crosses his arms as he watches me. “If you don’t mind, I want to explore around here.” I say with a smile as I slide around him and take off running, he appears in front of me as his frown deepens.
“You are trying to escape.” He says to me as I come to a stop.
“I wouldn’t try to escape.” I say with a frown.
“That is not a lie.” Python says as she appears beside me.
“You are not helpful.” I say to her with a glare.
“I am, too.” She says as she frowns at me.
“Morrigan, no escaping.” Beelzebub says to me angrily.
“I wasn’t trying to escape.” I say angrily.
“That is not a lie.” Python says with a grin.
“Would you go away, Python.” I say as I glare at her.
“Yes, I would.” She says with a laugh, I growl in frustration at her and run in the opposite direction, I turn down the hallway and I see the door, I run faster towards it as I grin. A arm catches me, and turns me around to face them, I glare up at Cu Chulainn.
“Let me go.” I say angrily as I push against him.
“The door is locked.” He says with a grin.
“Am I ever going to get out of here?” I ask him angrily as I push against him.
“Probably not.” He says as he laughs, I push away from him and run to the door to push it open and it stays closed. I punch the door angrily repeatedly until I feel arms around me again pulling me away from the door.
“Let me go!” I yell angrily as I kick and punch the arms.
“It is like a cat in a bag.” Berith says as he watches me amused, I feel the grip tighten as Satan appears he watches me with a grin.
“Let me go now!” I yell at him angrily as I glare at him.
“Seems you are not a very good prisoner after all.” He says with a grin.
“I told you I wasn’t.” I say angrily as I fight against the arms holding me, I beat my fists on the arms as hard as I can.
“Lets not take her out and fly her like a kite.” Python says as she appears with a giggle, I glare at her.
“I really do not like you.” I say angrily as I glare at her.
“Yes, you do.” She says with a grin.
“Cu Chulainn have you ever seen this side of her?” Satan asks him.
“No, I have not, I am kind of enjoying it.” I hear him behind me.
“Put me down you ass.” I say angrily as I glare up at him and he grins at me, I struggle against him more and he laughs.
“That is not appropriate, for a princess to say.” He says as he laughs harder, I turn in his arms and try to get at his face, he leans back laughing harder as he watches me.
“Princess?” Satan asks him.
“In her first life back, she was princess. That was the father she was referring to, she spent most of her childhood running away.” Cu Chulainn says as he drops me and grabs my wrists holding them behind me.
“Let me go!” I yell at him as I try to pull my wrists out of his grasp, he pulls me closer.
“She spent three years on her own, working as a barmaid.” Cu Chulainn says to Satan, who looks down at me amused.
“I gave you the ability to fly, but I never gave a hint it would be outside, Morrigan.” Satan says to me, I glare at him. “Behave or I will send you back with Lucifer.” He says to me, I look over at Lucifer who grins at me, I stop fighting Cu Chulainn. “Good girl.” He says with a grin, I glare up at him and try to charge at him, Cu Chulainn tightens his grip again. “I can see why you enjoyed her, Cu Chulainn.” He says with a laugh and vanishes. He lets go of me and I turn and glare at him, he grins down at me, I run towards him as I raise a fist, he catches my wrist with a laugh.
“You are more stubborn than I realized.” He says as he smiles down at me, he lets go of me again as he watches me. I walk away from him as my anger takes over, but the power is blocked from me. I walk through the hallways ignoring everyone and vanishing into my thoughts. As I walk I feel people touch my arms to try to get me to pay attention, but I ignore them I will walk these halls lost in time until I am free.
I ripped out of my thoughts by someone shoving me against the wall, I look up and glare at Cu Chulainn. “What do you want? I was busy.” I say angrily.
“Doing what?” He asks me with a smile.
“Thinking.” I say annoyed.
“You have been here a month and all you do is walk.” He says with a laugh.
“Passes the time until I am free.” I say as I glare at him.
“I will not let you escape that easily.” He says as he grins down at me. “If I have to I will do this every single day.” He says as he raises an eyebrow.
I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him.
“Go away.” I say as I push him.
“Why?” He asks me.
“Because if I am not socializing then time disappears, it is more enjoyable.” I say as I slide across the wall and push his hands off me and start walking again, I go back into my thoughts and memories. I feel someone grab me again, I look up to see Cu Chulainn again. “This is getting annoying, what is it the next day?” I ask him angrily.
“Nope same day.” He says with a grin.
“Why do you insist on torturing me in the only way you know how?” I ask him with a frown.
“As you said it is the only way I know how.” He says with a wink.
“Where is my room? I was hanging upside down when I was brought to it.” I ask him with a frown and he laughs as he offers his arm to me, I take it and he leads me through the hallways to a door and opens it. I go inside over to the window and stare out the window, I feel a touch on my arm, I turn to see him again, I give him an annoyed look. “Same day again?” I ask him.
“No, it is the next day.” He says with a laugh.
“Why do you want to keep bothering me?” I ask him.
“Because you wanted someone to keep you in track with time, I am going to do this every single day.” He says with a smile.
“I don’t want it anymore.” I say as I look back out the window.
“Why?” He asks me.
“Because it will make the time until Theros is back go by slower.” I say quietly as I watch the birds.
I feel someone touch my arm. “Let me guess it is the next day.” I say annoyed.
“Next day?” I hear Satan ask me, I turn to look at him with a frown.
“How long have I been here?” I ask him.
“Forty years.” He says as he watches me out of curiosity.
“I guess Cu Chulainn stopped.” I say as I look back out the window.
“Morrigan, pay attention.” I hear Satan say.
“I don’t want to; I am passing the time.” I say to him.
“Even if I am letting you go?” He asks me and I look back up at him with a frown.
“Why would you?” I ask him.
“All you have done for forty years is stare out a window. I can get a statue that does the same thing.” He says annoyed.
“More entertaining when I was fighting?” I ask with a laugh.
“Much more.” He says as he frowns at me. “Sometimes I envy your ability to do that.” He says to me.
“Why? One moment a human you helped is alive and grateful and talking to you, the next moment they are dead.” I say quietly.
“I imagine that does effect you.” He says to me.
“I stopped learning the names of my seneschal’s because it had gotten too depressing, I will go back to a new one.” I say as I look back out the window. “I never learned his name.” I say quietly.
“Come with me, Morrigan.” Satan says as he grabs my arm and pulls me from the window, he leads me down the hallways. “Did Cu Chulainn help you with time?” He asks me.
“Yes, until Lucifer made me break it off with him. Then he stopped coming to see me.” I say to him.
“Is that why you were with Emnos?” He asks me.
“Yes, and also because we were trying a relationship where he was not controlling me. He said that if he died Dhuna would help me.” I say quietly.
“And I took them both.” He says to me.
“Yes, you did.” I say to him. “Theros would also help me too and Ark. Now I have no one, I lost it all because I went to sleep.” I whisper.
“I am sorry for doing that, but they were trying to kill me.” He says with a frown, he opens the front doors to the castle. “Go be free.” He says to me, I look out the door when I hear footsteps running toward us.
“What are you doing, Satan?” I hear Cu Chulainn ask him.
“Letting her go.” He says to him
“Why?” He asks.
“Because she is not doing anything here, all she does is exist that is it.” Satan says angrily, I change and fly into the sky I fly over the forests watching everything below me. I vanish and my room appears around me, I change and walk over to the balcony and watch the trees.
“Morrigan, Macha.”
Where?
“Gorvoy city.”
I vanish, the statue towering over me that Myrddin made, I glare up at it annoyed. I walk through the city looking for Macha, I see gold eyes in the crowd and I run towards them. A woman sits at a table selling random items, I walk over to and she looks up at me with her gold eyes and I grin. I touch her forehead, the void falls around us and I grab her hand, as my eyes glow, I watch as she sees her memories. She collapses to the ground grabbing her waist as she screams in pain, the world comes back around us. She looks up at me with a smile.
“Goddess Morrigan, nice to see you again.” She says with a laugh.
“I am going to need you and Babd when she comes back for the most important war ever.” I say with a smile, and she nods as she stands up, I take her hand and we vanish to my room. I explain to her everything that has happened since her death, and what is going on right now, she listens to it all intently asking questions along the way.
“Well, that is going to be irritating, fighting two Gods this time.” She says annoyed.
“This time, value your own life over mine.” I say with a frown and she laughs.
“I am supposed to be your protector, Morrigan.” She says with a sad smile.
“I don’t care. Put your own life above my own, I had to send Babd out after you died because I didn’t want to lose you both.” I say with a frown.
“How many years until she is back?” Macha asks me.
“One hundred ten.”
“One hundred ten years.” I say with a smile.
“How long until Emnos and Dhuna?” She asks me.
“Sixty.”
“Sixty.” I say with a grin.
“So, one hundred ten years until we go to war again?” She asks me and I nod.
“In the mean time, I need you to try to find Arthur.” I say to her.
“Why?” She asks me.
“The leader threatened to kill Arthur and destroy his body so we would not remember our previous lives and follow him.” I say to her, she has anger in her eyes.
“I will find him and keep him moving to keep their hands off him.” She says to me.
“Thank you, Macha. Be careful.” I say to her and she nods as she vanishes.
Bring me back in sixty years.
“Of course.”
Thank you.
I walk over to the balcony and stare at the trees drifting off in my thoughts as I grin at the thought of having Emnos and Dhuna back.
“Morrigan, Emnos and Dhuna. They are in a city called Hallowgrin, at a place of ill-repute.”
Of course, they are.
I vanish, the city appears around me. I walk through the streets towards the poorer parts of the city, I look around in the darkness until I find a place that men are going into already drunk. I run over and follow them in, I look around in the tightly packed place trying to find them. I feel someone grab me and pull me to them, I look up at a older man with green eyes grinning at me. “Let me go.” I say angrily.
“I will pay you ten silvers.” He says with a vulgar drunken grin, I knee him in the groin and start moving again through the building. I see two men with black hair playing a game of dice with other men laughing, the other men not laughing. I squeeze through the crowd to get to them, one of them looks back at me and I see violet eyes. I push everyone away from me and run to him, he looks at me with a grin.
“I am about to have some money if you want to hang around. I can pay you twenty silver.” He says with a laugh.
“That would mean my money too.” A man with blue eyes says angrily as he looks back at me and grins. “Only if I get to join.” He says as he laughs. I wait until they are through with their game, between the two of them they lead me out of the building and into an alley, where Emnos pushes me against the wall with a kiss.
“Sorry boys, we have more important things to do.” I say as I gently push him away, I touch both of their foreheads at the same time, the void comes around us. I take both of their hands as my eyes glow and I watch them remember. I also watch them remember all of their deaths, after the screams die out the world appears around us again. Emnos looks up at me with a sad smile, Dhuna stands with a frown. “Do not ever do that again.” I say angrily to the both of them, they look at me with guilt. “I have been held prisoner, almost taken advantage of, lost all sorts of time, woke up to everyone gone. You two left me.” I say as I feel tears in my eyes.
“I am sorry, Morrigan.” Dhuna says to me as he looks at the ground.
“I am sorry, love.” Emnos says as he grabs me and pulls me to him, I look up at him with a glare. “I got word that Cu Chulainn had switched sides and he was planning on using Asmodeus to get to you. I had to do something, so I talked to Vhaanth about finding a way to put you out so I could kill him.” Emnos says to me.
“Don’t do it again.” I say quietly and he nods.
“Who almost took advantage of you?” He asks me angrily.
“Lucifer, the new leader stopped him and then held me captive in the castle for forty years.” I say to him.
“I am going to kill him.” Emnos says angrily.
“No, I am. You are going to be there to heal me.” I say angrily. “But we have to wait fifty years before doing anything.” I say to him.
“Why?” He asks me with a frown.
“Creations orders, and all the other gods they killed will be back.” I say to him with a smile, he leans down and kisses me.
“You will want to take that one to your room, after reincarnation he is like a female dog in heat.” Dhuna says annoyed, and I laugh.
“I don’t know what it is, but it makes me want to do it repeatedly. At least we have fifty years of that to look forward to.” Emnos says with a grin to me as he leans down to kiss me again. I feel Dhuna vanish and we vanish landing on my bed, I feel someone in the room, I look over to see Lucifer grinning at me.
“What do you want Lucifer?” I ask him as I hold Emnos to me to keep him from trying to strangle him.
“Came to check on you, glad to see you are doing fantastic. I will make sure to let Cu Chulainn know.” He says with a wink and vanishes. Emnos frowns down at me.
“Why did you keep me from getting up?” He asks me.
“To keep you from leaving me again.” I say with a glare, I send magic out into the room to lock it down keeping everyone out as I grab him and kiss him again, he grins against my lips. I feel my dress vanish as he pulls me up off the bed to him, his hands slide down me to my bottom and he grabs me roughly as his clothes vanish. I feel him lower me down onto him as I feel him slide into me, he smiles against my lips from the sounds I make, the scent of jasmine and lavender fills the air around me as he lifts me up to bring me down on him again. The feelings of my pleasure mixed with the pleasure from the scent make me kiss him desperately as I feel him inside me. Pleasure shoots through me making my entire body tighten up around him, his moans from me tightening up around him makes me kiss him more as I feel his muscle tighten. Emnos lays me down on the bed with a smile.
“I miss you.” He whispers to me before kissing me again.
“I miss you too.” I say with a smile as he leans back, I feel eyes on me and I look over to see Satan watching us with a grin. “Clothes Emnos.” I say angrily and I feel my dress on my body again. “What is it, Satan?” I ask him as Emnos gets off me to stand and glare at him naked. “Clothes Emnos.” I say with a laugh, I watch as his clothes appear.
“Well, Lucifer was saying that you were active again. He just did not say in what way.” Satan says with a laugh.
“He is an ass.” I say annoyed. “How long were you standing there?” I yell angrily, he laughs.
“I was around long enough.” He says as he winks at me, I feel my face heat up, Emnos laughs.
“I prefer you knock first.” I say angrily.
“What is the fun in that?” He asks me with a grin. “After watching you stand and do nothing for a hundred years, this is way more entertaining. Even more than you punching holes in my walls and breaking my windows and trying to beat up my demigod.” He says with a laugh.
“You did that?” Emnos asks me with a grin.
“Yes, she did, she caused a lot of chaos the first day.” Satan says as he laughs harder, and then looks over at Emnos. “I kept her prisoner in my castle because I had entrusted Lucifer to watch over her to make sure she did not die and to make sure she kept in the lines of our agreement. He decided to take advantage of his position, and he was punished.” Satan says angrily.
“You should have let her punish him.” Emnos says with a frown.
“If I had done that, I would have had to try to find a way to heal her and dispose of a body.” Satan says with a frown.
“You say that like it is a bad thing, Vhaanth would have healed her.” Emnos says as he laughs.
“Last time it took two Gods to heal her.” Satan says with a frown.
“Satan, I hate to cut this conversation short, but I have just ascended him after being away from him for three hundred years, we have a lot to catch up on. Once I am done with him, we will come see you if you want.” I say to him with a frown, both of them grin at me.
“Feel free to continue, I can still carry on a conversation.” He says with a laugh, Emnos laughs hysterically.
“That is not an option.” I say annoyed.
“I have already seen you naked at this point, so I do not know what the problem is.” He says with a smile, I glare at him.
“He does have a point.” Emnos says as he grins at me.
“Don’t make me electrocute you.” I say as I glare at him, Satan laughs.
“That hurts.” He says as he laughs harder.
“You didn’t get it as bad as Lucifer.” I say with a wink. “He got a full body electrocution thanks to Creation.” I say with a smile, Satan and Emnos laugh.
“Why did she electrocute you?” Emnos asks him with a frown.
“I heard she was afraid of being touched, I wanted to see if it was true. That was my payment for my curiosity.” Satan says with a smile.
“Yeah, she kind of goes back and forth between angry and afraid. You have to pay attention to the face.” Emnos says with a small smile.
“I noticed, I got to see the other side as well. It was disturbing to say the least.” Satan says with a frown. “She went into that mode after she woke up in my castle, she passed out from the pain Lucifer gave her.” Satan says quietly.
“Emnos you cannot kill him.” I say annoyed at the anger on his face.
“At least let me hurt him.” Emnos says angrily.
“I went through all of her memories; I have seen what everyone has done to her. The worst was done to her by your twin, no one has topped that yet.” Satan says to Emnos, Emnos frowns at him.
“He has apologized for that and done everything he could to make up for it.” Emnos says to him.
“Have you seen what he did?” Satan asks him.
“Yes, I saw it through his eyes.” Emnos says quietly.
“You should try through her eyes; it is worse than you can imagine.” Satan says with a frown. As they continue talking I sit up on the bed and watch the trees sway out side, and the birds fly into the trees singing.
I feel someone touch me and I look up to see Emnos smiling at me, I smile at him. I look around the room to see we are alone again; I feel him push me back down on the bed and I look up at him as he grins at me. “Have a good talk with Satan?” I ask him.
“Yes, he seems protective of you.” Emnos says with a smile.
“I do not know why, and it makes my uneasy.” I say with a frown.
“I want to see the memories of Dhuna.” Emnos says to me as he gets in between my legs.
“I don’t think that is the best idea.” I say to him as I watch him, I feel a finger touch my temple, I bring up hand to stop him as the memories flash through my mind, I see pain in his eyes as he experiences the pain I went through. His hand finally moves away from my head and he stares down at me. “How much pain do you experiences from memories?” I ask him.
“I experience an eighth of the pain you do, through your memories.” He says quietly as he watches me.
“How painful is it?” I ask him.
“About as painful as the memories of death that we experience when we ascend.” He says with a sad smile.
“Was it different seeing it through my eyes?” I ask him.
“Yes, I felt your fear your sanity slipping your pain.” He says with a frown. “I think Dhuna should see it.” He says to me.
“I do not agree with that, he has beaten himself up over it enough.” I say to him with a frown.
“This is one thing I will not give you a choice in.” Emnos says angrily, I feel someone appear and I look over to see Dhuna, he gives me a guilty look.
“No, Emnos. I refuse to let you.” I say angrily, I push him to get him off me. He grabs my hands and pins them to the bed with anger in his eyes. “Dhuna do not do it.” I say as I look over at him, he walks around the bed and kneels beside it, I watch his hand come towards me as I fight Emnos I feel his finger touch my temple. I see the memories flash through me as I feel myself go limp from having my mind accessed, I watch his face to see him being tormented by it. “Emnos please make him stop.” I say quietly as he reaches the worst part of the memories.
“He needs to see exactly what he did.” Emnos says to me. “I am sorry for doing this Morrigan.” He says as he lets go of my wrists. Dhuna finally reaches the end of the memories where I am cornered by people I should know. Dhuna removes his finger from my head and stands he vanishes. I look back to Emnos with a glare and I touch his temple, I send the memories of him killing me into his mind, as I pull my hand away, he frowns down at me. “I feel a lot of pain, but I also felt how much you wanted it. You felt happy when you coming down to kill you.” He says with a uneasy frown on his face.
“If you are going to die and there is no escape, at least look Death in the face with a smile.” I say to him.
“You truly are a Goddess of War.” He says as his frown deepens. “May I see the memory of the fight with Lucifer?” He asks me.
“I will give you three, the one with Lucifer and then when I first met Satan, then when I battled him in the arena. The one in the arena is truly disturbing.” I say quietly as I touch his temple, I see his pain when I am stabbed, then his breathing changes from the pain when I get to Satan cutting my wing off. The memory of the fight with Satan in the arena flashes through his mind as he frowns.
“You are expecting to kill that?” He asks me quietly.
“I did many times during that fight; he was fighting me seriously I did not bring out my power during the entire fight.” I say with a small smile. I smacked him with the blade too many times to count.” I say with a laugh and he laughs with me.
“It is amazing sometimes what you are capable of. I am happy that Dhuna did not break you.” He says with a smile, I give him a sad smile.
“I am still not what I used to be.” I say to him quietly.
“You seem fine to me.” He says with a frown.
“When I feel trapped and I have no escape, I am a completely different person than I am now. When I think I am going to be a prisoner and all control is going to be taken away, fear takes over. I cannot use magic, I cannot function.” I say quietly as I look down at his chest.
“When Lucifer had me in his room for a meeting, he closed the window he had open for me to make me feel safe. As soon as that window closed fear took over and he took advantage of it, until Creation told me to close my eyes and imagine he was someone else.” I say as I look up into his eyes.
“Dhuna did break me; my anger keeps me here.” I say with a small smile.
“How are you able to be with me? We look just alike.” He says with a frown.
“The eyes are what I pay the most attention to, to me you look nothing alike.” I say with a grin, and he laughs. “Is Dhuna, okay?” I ask him with a frown.
“Currently, no he is not. But he will eventually get better.” Emnos says with frown.
“I am still mad at you for doing that to him, he only did it because of his love for you. You shouldn’t be the one to punish him.” I say as I watch him, I feel someone appear in the room and I look over to see Cu Chulainn’s red face, he looks at us with hatred.
“Nice to see you again.” Emnos says to him with a smile, Cu Chulainn runs towards us I access the magic and create a barrier around us. Cu Chulainn beats his fists angrily as he glares at us, Emnos gets up off me and watches him with a frown.
“Emnos leave, I will handle this.” I say quietly, he nods and vanishes. I let the barrier fall and Cu Chulainn jumps on top of me glaring down at me. I watch him as he glares down at me, I see pain in his eyes. “Talk to me.” I say to him, he growls at me in anger. “I do not know what you are thinking anymore, you have to tell me.” I say quietly.
“Why are you with him?” He yells angrily at me.
“He is not the bad person you think he is.” I say quietly.
“He is Lust, he will never be good!” He yells at me angrily.
“Morrigu’s left her because of Creation’s meddling.” I say quietly. “Creation is not doing that anymore.” I say as I watch him.
“I warned you about him and you still go to him.” He says angrily.
“You prefer I be alone?” I ask him. “Endlessly wondering how much time has passed? I have been there before, the world felt meaningless. Everything felt empty and useless.” I say to him. “You left me in that place.” I whisper.
“I wanted you to be mine.” He says angrily as he glares at me.
“I was yours, and then you left me. What you have turned into, I do not recognize.” I say with a sad smile as I cup his cheek. “I remember a gentle smiling face that made me feel safe for the first time, that made me feel like I was more than I am. That face is gone, it died a long time ago.” I say quietly as I drop my hand.
“I am not different.” He says angrily.
“Yes, you are, you once promised me you would never let me turn into Morrigu that you would stay by my side and keep me safe from it. Then you did what Lust did to her, you broke my heart and broke your promise. I had looked forward to spending an eternity with someone who knew me better than I knew myself, someone who would keep me safe from the world and myself, someone who would show me what kindness is everyday. That is not you anymore, I wish I knew what broke you so I could try to fix it.” I say with a sad smile, he looks away from me and vanishes.

I sit up on the bed and slide to edge and stand up, I vanish Dhuna’s room appears around me. I look around for him in the dark room, to see he is laying on the bed, I walk over to him and crawl up on the bed behind him and lay down wrapping an arm around him.
“Why are you being nice to me?” He whispers.
“Because you are not a bad person, you have just done bad things. Everyone makes mistakes.” I say quietly as I hug him tighter, I feel him turn towards me he rolls over to face me and I smile at him. “Just think if I had not healed from those memories, I wouldn’t be able to do this.” I say to him with a grin. “I am no longer scared of you Dhuna. You should just ignore those memories.” I say to him, he watches me as he lays an arm around me and I smile at him.
“How are you not afraid of me?” He asks me quietly.
“Because I see the real you.” I say with a smile. “You are kind, gentle, caring to a fault. Your love for your brother is endless, you are willing to do anything to make sure he is happy.” I say to him. “After you found out what was done to him, you did things in your grief that you regret. Everyone handles grief differently.” I say to him as I watch him, I feel Emnos enter the room and I hear him walk over to the bed and I look up at his frown.
“I see how it is, I cannot be with other women, but you get to be with my brother?” He asks me, Dhuna and I laugh.
“Why don’t you get on the bed and cuddle with him to make him feel better?” I ask him with a frown.
“Why would I cuddle with him when you are on the bed?” He asks me with a grin.
“Do not even think about it, I will vanish. That is highly inappropriate.” I say with a glare, his grin widens as he starts to climb on the bed beside me and I vanish. The throne room appears around me; I look over to see a young man running to me.
“Goddess Morrigan, I cannot believe it is you.” He says with a grin down at me.
“What is your name, seneschal?” I ask him with a smile.
