Chapter 69

No One's POV

They got to their destination and got into their designated positions.

Chaeyoung wasn't exactly fond of guns so she didn't try to bring any on her since it's harder to move around with it but Jeongyeon wasn't going to have it so she threatened to never make another sword for her and that's what got Chaeyoung to give in.

Mark looked at Chaeyoung with uncertainty in his eyes. He didn't want to bear with losing his sister again and as a big brother, he wanted to protect her and not be protected for once.

He knew the little girl that he always protects when they were younger but the grown up Chaeyoung is far different from how she used to be when she was younger. There wasn't a trace of that once bubbly and cheerful girl he once looked at.

He clenched his fists as he sees her figure walking away from him and without a single thought his body moved on its own and grabbed onto Chaeyoung's wrist and turned her around before embracing her tightly in his arms.

The others saw them and chose to not interfere even if time's ticking right now. Its what they both needed because no one knows if they're gonna get out alive.

So they went on first as they let the siblings talk.

[5 minutes, come over after 5 minutes. We don't have all day]. Jeongyeon said through the earpiece.

Chaeyoung heard it and didn't respond as she knows that they can't afford to waste more time than they already did.

Chaeyoung patted his back a few times before he released her. He held onto her shoulders and had his head hung down while biting his lower lip.

"I know I can't change your mind but please... come back to me...."  His voice cracked as he utter those words while sniffing. He cried at the thought of losing his sister again. He would definitely break if anything happens to his only sister.

"Oppa...". She said, softly and cupped his cheek to make him look at her. "I'm not gonna die. My goal is to kill that person, not the other way around".

"Still—" She covered his mouth and smiled at him just like how she used to when she was younger.

He calmed down when he saw it because somehow there's still traces of her left in there. She might have changed a lot but she's still the same little girl he loved so much.

He nodded and pulled her into one last hug before releasing her.

"Now go before I change my mind... because I'm going to run after you if I look at you any longer". He said while walking away fast.

Chaeyoung had a sad look upon her face as she hurried and went over to her squad.

[So where do we gather once we clear all the areas?] Seulgi asked.

[Uhh, there should be a room where they leave their equipments? I don't think I know where it could be at but I'm sure it's close to where he's staying]. Jihyo said.

[So we have to search for that room?]. Jihyo chuckled and they took that as a yes.

[You guys ready??] Eunha asked.

[Yes]. They all responded at the same time and as soon as the clock hits 9 they all rushed in.

Jihyo turn to look at Mark and Suga before asking. "Do you know how to use this??" She pointed at the sniper rifles that's in the box she brought with her.

"I've never used it before". Suga honestly told her.

"Do you think you can do it??" She asked while putting it into positions.
