Chapter 55

No One's POV

"I feel so tired~~~". Mina said as she jumped onto her bed after she took a warm bath.

She was a bit tipsy from earlier drinks but she made sure she didn't drink more than she could handle although her head felt like it's spinning when she closes her eyes.

Chaeyoung was on the couch reading as usual. She looked so engrossed that Mina thought the girl didn't notice that she's already done with her bath.

"You should take a bath". Chaeyeong closed her book and did what Mina told her to.

Mina turned on the dim light as she laid down first but she didn't know why she was waiting for Chaeyoung. She thought that maybe she's just still a little scared from the earlier event which was just an excuse.

But she cursed herself mentally when she pretended to sleep once she heard the bathroom door open.

Chaeyoung saw Mina's back on the bed and she assumed the heiress had already fallen asleep.

She went towards the couch and laid down while covering herself with the extra blanket. She never thought of joining Mina on the bed though.

"Chaeyoung??" Mina voice out since she didn't feel Chaeyoung's presence.

"Yes?"

"What are you doing there???" Mina frowned when she saw the girl on the couch ready to go to sleep.

"Getting ready to sleep?" Mina sigh and shook her head before gesturing the girl to come to the bed. "Is there something you need?" Chaeyoung asked while walking towards the heiress.

"Yeah". Mina hugged Chaeyoung once the girl is in front of her, burying her face on Chaeyoung's shirt and felt the warmth from the girl. "Sleep beside me. I'm not comfortable sleeping alone in an unfamiliar place".

"Okay". Mina lift her head up and smiled before letting Chaeyoung getting on the bed beside her. "Hold my hand". Mina said or more like an order that she knows Chaeyoung can't refuse.

Chaeyoung held Mina's hand as the girl wants and watch as Mina closes her eyes with a contended smile on her face.

"Goodnight Chaeyoung-ah".

"Goodnight". She brought Chaeyoung's hand even closer to her lips almost kissing it but she chose not to before placing it against her cheek instead.

She was trying to sleep but even after an hour passed she still couldn't even though she was tired as hell.

"Mina?" And Mina opened her eyes once she heard Chaeyoung called for her. "Can't sleep?"

"No". With a deep sigh and what Chaeyoung did next really made her heart flutter.

"You can hug me like before if you want". She offered with her arms opened for the girl and Mina didn't waste a single second and just went forth to hug her bodyguard.

She felt so lightheaded as soon as she smelled Chaeyoung's scent. Having Chaeyoung's arms wrapped around her felt so warm that she wanted more.

Chaeyoung could see how happy Mina is and she wish that nothing will take away that happiness from the girl.

She caress Mina's head gently letting the girl fall asleep slowly in her arms.

As soon as Mina fell asleep she got herself out of bed and replaced herself with a pillow.

It wasn't long for a knock to be heard from the door. Chaeyoung was already dressed up and she was just waiting for Jeongyeon to bring Nayeon over.
