Chapter 27

No One's POV

Nayeon was trying to get some rest but something was keeping her up even though it's already midnight.

She opened her eyes and realized that she's alone on her bed, the warmth left that's why she couldn't sleep.

She sat up and look around her room and found Jeongyeon on the couch. She got off her bed and went to wake the girl up.

"Jeongyeon..." She whispered and shook the girl lightly. "Wake up..."

Jeongyeon's not a heavy sleeper so she woke up and immediately sat up straight.

"Is there something you need??" Nayeon shook her head and smile but of course Jeongyeon didn't see it, it was dark in the room.

"Why did you come and sleep on the couch??" Nayeon asked curiously. "I thought I told you to sleep beside me??"

"I can't do that".

"And why not?? I already gave you permission". Jeongyeon went silent and Nayeon pulled her by the hand towards the bed. "Have I told you that I've never been able to get any proper rest these years??"

"No". Nayeon sigh and gave Jeongyeon's hand a squeeze.

"I never get to sleep in peace. My nightmare always keeps me up but you know? ..." Nayeon lift her head up and smile. "Today is the first time that I was able to get a proper rest and it's all thanks to you". Nayeon pulled Jeongyeon on the bed and snuggle into Jeongyeon's body. "Starting from now, don't sleep on the couch anymore. Sleep beside me ... that way I'd know I'm not alone anymore". she whispered the last part.

"Agasshi-" Jeongyeon couldn't finish what she was about to say when Nayeon covered her mouth.

"I don't like being disobeyed. So do as I say or I'll force you if I have to". Nayeon threatened and Jeongyeon gave up on trying to refuse.

Nayeon removed her hand and sigh out in contentment.

"I feel so safe around you and I don't even know why". Nayeon blurted out as Jeongyeon started stroking her hair.

"Gurae? That's a relief then".

"At first I hated you but with an unknown reason I don't feel those hatred feelings towards you anymore ... it became something else". Nayeon stated and Jeongyeon just nodded. "Didn't you also dislike me at first??" 

"I did".

"I know. I would also hate me if I were you. I was so rude to you". Nayeon pouted when she remembered their first meeting. "But at least we're on good terms now hehe".

"Hmm". Nayeon didn't say anything else after that. "Goodnight agasshi..." Jeongyeon whispered as she closes her eyes as well.

They both fell asleep like that. Being wrapped in each other's arms and feeling the warmth from each other is the best out of it.

"Appa~". Sana whined through the phone while talking to her dad. "How can I stay in here?? It's suffocating! I could die!" She continued whining but she couldn't change her dad's mind.

Just like Nayeon, her dad banned her from leaving the mansion and is only allowed to go to Nayeon's and the other two's mansions. Other places are a big NO.

"Arraseo..." She finally gave up on trying to change his mind. "Hmm call me when you're free. I miss you and mum". She bid goodbye to her dad and placed her phone on her desk with a big sigh.
