Chapter 71

No One's POV

They came back shortly with food and though no one was hungry nor had the energy to eat but they had to have something at least to regain their energy.

And it didn't take long for the emergency room to open. The doctors came out and Jihyo was the first to rushed over to the doctors and ask how Chaeyoung is.

"How is she doc???! Is she okay?!!"

"Easy Jihyo-ssi, take a deep breath first". The doctor tried to calm Jihyo down first before breaking the news. "Chaeyoung-ssi is fine right now. The bullets didn't went in deep but it was in a critical spot for us to remove but the hard part is over now and all she needs right now is plenty of rest". And that was when everyone breathe out a sigh of relief feeling like the heavy weights on their shoulders were gone instantly.

"Thank you so much ... thank you doc...." Mark kneeled in front of the doctor and he quickly went on his knees as well. "Thank you for saving Chaeyoung..."

"It's my duty so please get up". Mark did as told and wipe the tears on his face away. "So this is the older one that Chaeyoung has been looking for?" The doctor said as he looked over at Jihyo whom nodded at the question. "What a handsome young man". He patted Mark's shoulder and walked over to Wendy.

"Good job sweetie. I'm proud of you". Wendy hugged him tightly before letting him go back to work.

"Is he your dad?" Jackson questioned.

"No, he's my uncle and he's Jihyo's dad's bestfriend too since highschool". She said while having her arm wrapped around Jihyo's shoulders.

"So when can we see her?" Jihyo ignored Wendy and asked the other doctors that came out of the room with Wendy's uncle.

"Tomorrow once she's moved to another room". Jihyo thanked the doctor as they bowed slightly and walked away.

Mina stood close to the door and looked at Chaeyoung through the small window on the door as she lightly touch it.

"Please wake up soon Chaeyoung-ah... You should know how much I miss you right now...". Mina mumbled before slowly dropping to the ground.

"MINA!!" Yoongi ran over and tried to wake her up but to no avail she wasn't responding. "HELP!!"

And the nurses came running towards them as they moved Mina to a room. But luckily there were no serious problems. She only fainted due to fatigue.

"Silly girl..." Yoongi sighed out and stayed in the room with Jimin and the other three heiresses to make sure Mina doesn't panic when she wakes up.

Mina slowly opened her eyes as she tried to look around to see where she is. She saw the others resting on the sofas and some on the extra hospital bed while Yoongi was leaning onto the bed holding her hand.

"Oppa?..." Mina had to shake him a bit hard for him to take up.

"Oh you're up? Are you okay?? Do you feel pain anywhere??" Mina smiled and shook her head. "I told you to be careful and take extra care of yourself, you just never listen do you?"

"I learned it from you". Yoongi scoffed and smack Mina's head lightly. "I'm a patient too y'know".

"Patients like you needs some discipline". He than got up and brought her the peeled and neatly cut fruits. "Mark brought you this so you should eat all of it".

"What about the others?" She asked as Yoongi helped her to sit in her back as he placed the pillow behind her back.

"They already had theirs and as you can see they're also fast asleep".
