Chapter 77

No One's POV

Mina woke up a few hours after Chaeyoung left. She looked around and didn't see Chaeyoung anywhere on the bed.

She sigh as she lean against her bedpost. What Chaeyoung have told her made her feel like she've been really clueless about everything.

"Brian oppa..." She bite her lower lip as she held her knees close to her chest.

She never thought about the possibility of Brian secretly helping her live, making sure she survives.

Ever since she found out that he betrayed them, she forgot all about the good things he did. All she could think of was how he betrayed all of them.

She couldn't cry anymore. She cried enough earlier and she realize she also put a lot of pressure onto Chaeyoung when all the girl did was saved her and kept her safe.

They both protected and loved her in their own ways.

"I should apologize..." She stood up and went towards the bathroom but couldn't find the girl in there.

She glance at the clock and it showed 2:35am.

She walked towards her door and went down towards the living room expecting to find Chaeyoung there but she spotted no one.

She looked all over the house and even the backyard but there was no traces of Chaeyoung.

She started panicking as she rushes back to her room and grab her phone, quickly dialing Chaeyoung's number but she felt her chest tightened when she heard the ringtone coming from her bed.

Chaeyoung didn't bring her phone with her. She was trying not to overthink but the fact that Chaeyoung probably left her scares her.

She couldn't calm down as she quickly ran over to her brother's room knocking loudly and rapidly until the door flew open revealing Yoongi in his PJs.

"Mina??" He rubbed his eyes but when he saw the anxious look showed on Mina's face, he became worried. "Hey hey what's wrong??" He held her arm rubbing it gently.

"Oppa d-did you see Chaeyoung??" He frowned and shook his head. "She left...."

"What do you mean she left??" He went out of the room and closed the door behind him so they won't possibly wake Jimin up.

Mina held Yoongi's arms tightly as her hands were trembling from fear. Yoongi could feel it when Mina tightened her grip onto him.

"Minari breathe". He tried to calm her but she kept shaking her head as tears began falling down her face once again. "you need to calm down Mina-ya. Take a deep breath".

Mina breathe in and out but she couldn't calm her heartbeat at all.

"I w-woke up and she's gone..."

"Chaeyoung??" Mina nodded vigorously. "She can't possibly leave you Mina-ya. You guys are about to get married".

"But she's gone! I can't find her anywhere!"

"Did you try calling her??"

"She left her phone". Yoongi pulled Mina towards her room as he sat her down on the bed before kneeling in front of her holding her hands. "Oppa..." She was sobbing uncontrollably.

"Breathe and tell me what happened". He caress her hands gently while not breaking the eye contact.

Mina explained the whole thing Chaeyoung told her and of course Yoongi was surprised but he couldn't think of a reason why Chaeyoung would just leave considering how much they love each other.
