I walked into my great grandmothers nursing home room dressing in a 1945 woman's army outfit with my hair and make-up done up. She smiled seeing me.

"You did this, you called Fury

"You did this, you called Fury. Now I have to dress like this every day in case he wakes up." I said and Peggy smiled.

"He needs to see someone from the time and who can pull it off. I knew it would be you. You also look at lot like me so it will put him at ease." Peggy explained.

"I don't think this is a good idea Grandma..." I said and Peggy groaned and I just sat down.

"It will be fine. You can ease him back into the world and slowly explain everything to him with Fury's help, he will be fine. Steve is a tough nut to crack but you will do just fine with him." Peggy said and I groaned.

"Nothing said he is going to wake up even. They are hopeful, his vitals are good but no change. He's just lying in the bed in this horrible room." I said and Peggy laughed.

"That's S.H.I.E.L.D. for you." Peggy said and I half nodded. I sighed and I looked at the time. Well I came here to get your approval on the outfit to see if I needed to change anything, you would know." I said and she shook her head.

"You look great and just think if this doesn't pan out you have an awesome Halloween costume." Peggy said. I kissed her cheek as I rolled my eyes.

"I love you and I will see you tomorrow." I said and walked out. I got in the waiting SUV Fury had me going anywhere in now to make sure I got back incase someone bad heard about Steve and wanted information so they would take me.

Once I got back to where Steve was I walked into the security room where I was meant to sit and watch the camera's to see if Steve ever woke up.

A few days later I was sitting in the same outfit, the same seat, the same security room watching the same camera of a man sleeping. I thought this was so creepy. I heard the radio playing over again, the same old baseball game from 1941, they thought it would be comforting to him.

"Anything?" I heard the voice say behind me and I looked to see Fury.

"No. He is still asleep although I thought I saw him stir a little bit ago and so I'm watching closer." I said and Fury nodded.

"You know what to do when he wakes up right?" Fury asked.

"Yes...been over it a million times. Please just let me do this Fury. I mean this a bullshit thing to do to the poor guy but it will be just fine." I said. Fury walked out and I watch the monitors again.

"Come on Steve, I need you to wake up." I whispered to myself. I then just sat listening to the baseball game playing on the radio in his room.

"Curve ball, high outside for ball one. So, the Dodgers are tied 4-4 and the crowd well knows that with one swing of his bat, this fella's capable of making it a brand-new game again. Just an absolutely gorgeous day here at Ebbets Field. The Phillies have managed to tie it up 4-4. But the Dodger have 3 men on..."

I heard the announcer say but I was watching as Steve sat up in bed. I sat watching him look around the room confused as the radio played on, he looked at it as I watched him knowing I needed to make my way in.

"Pearson beaned Reiser in Philadelphia last month, wouldn't the youngster like a hit here to return the favor? Pete leans in, here's the pitch. Swung on, a line drive to the right and it gets past Rizzo. 3 runs will score. Reiser heads to third, Durocher's going to wave him in. Here comes the relay, but they won't get him!"

I opened the room door and was met by his eyes, his blue eyes, scared eyes. He looked at me like he knew me, like Peggy and Fury knew he would. I smiled at him sweetly.

"Good morning..." I say and then look at my watch. "Or should I say afternoon?" I asked and smiled.

"Where am I?" Steve asked.

"In a recovery room in New York City." I said.

"Where am I really?" Steve asked not believing me.

"I'm afraid I don't understand..." I trailed off confused.

"The game it's from May 1941. I know because I was there. Now I'm going to ask you again. Where am I? Who are you? And why do you look like her?!" Steve asked getting up from the bed and getting close to me. I panicked and hit the small panic button I was holding in my hand. 2 armed guards come walking in. Steve takes a fighting stance and instantly I knew this was the wrong thing to do. Before I could stop anything Steve was throwing the 2 guards through the makeshift wall in the room. Steve jumped out of the room and looked around the big open space and then ran to the double doors he saw.

"Captain Rogers! Stop!" I yelled after him as I grabbed my walkie talkie. "All agents, code 13! I repeat all agents code 13!" I yelled into the walkie as Steve was fully out of the double doors and Fury appeared beside me.

"Thought you would have him handled?!" Fury said annoyed.

"Is now really the time?!" I asked pissed off. Fury and I run out together and get in a waiting SUV. We get a radio call that Steve was in Times Square and he is trapped by some agent cars. I realized then it was maybe a problem that I called all agents to help. Fury and I quickly pulled up and got out of the SUV.

"At ease Solider!" Fury yelled and Steve looked at him and stopped panicking. "Sorry about that little show back there. We thought it best to break it to you slow." Fury said and Steve looked between me and Fury. He looked back at me and couldn't get over my looks.

"Break what?" Steve said looking at me for the answer.

"You've been asleep Cap, for almost 70 years." I said and he just stared at me.
