Wanda and I had been down in the containment for about an hour and she was going through his mind to see if there was a way to block or remove the training hydra put it in his head. I was sitting outside the containment when I saw Wanda stop with Bucky and walk out. I looked at her confused.

"We have a problem..." She said and I looked at her confused.

"What?" I asked and she sighed.

"I need to tell you what I just saw and then since this is your mission I think you need to warn Tony and Steve." Wanda said.

"I can't tell Steve any of this Wanda!" I said and she sighed.

"He needs to know Director!" I knew she was talking to me as her mission leader not as a friend.

"Fuck...what is it?" I asked and she explained to me what she just saw in his head, and I hung my head.

I walked up to the conference room I had called a meeting in with Tony and Steve. I was pacing waiting for them to come in. This was going to break everyone I was inviting in, and I didn't know what it was going to do to Steve and I. As I paced Steve came walking in with Tony.

"Summer?" Steve asked confused and came to walk up to me and I took a step back.

"I need you both to sit down please. I have something to tell both of you." I said and Steve looked confused as to why I was being professional.

"What is going on?" Tony asked and I sighed.

"What I need you both to understand is I was on this last mission, and we weren't going to tell anyone until we were ready, but it looks like I don't have a choice right now." I said causing them both to look at me. There was a screen in the meeting room, and I turned it on to show Bucky in his containment.

"What the hell Summer?!" Steve yelled.

"Is the Barnes?" Tony asked and I nodded.

"I was not in England getting everything ready to come over I was with a team in Vienna, and we were capturing Barnes." I said. I saw Steve's face get tighter.

"No one thought to include me on the mission?! He was my best friend!" Steve said.

"Which is why you weren't included Captain Rogers, we couldn't have you compromise the mission." I said.

"Who was lead on this mission? Who made that choice?" Steve asked.

"I was lead on the mission. Fury thought it would be best." I said. Steve crossed his arm and leaned back in his chair just looking at the screen.

"What happened with him Director Carter that you need to tell us?" Tony asked and I knew this was all now very professional.

"Wanda has been working with Bucky trying to get the Hydra training from his brain, but she saw something. She gave me all the information and I was able to find traffic cam footage." I said and I pulled up on the screen. Tony watched intently. It was video footage of a car crashing into a pole and a motorcycle pulling up.

"I know that car, it's my parent's car." Tony said and I looked away from the screen and just looked at the floor. I couldn't watch it again and I also couldn't look at Tony or even Steve. Once I heard the video end, I looked at Tony and he was glaring at me.

"He killed my parents?!" Tony asked and I sighed.

"He didn't know Tony." Steve said. Tony snapped his head and looked at Steve.

"Did you know?" Tony asked Steve and he shook his head.

"No, I had no clue. I just knew your parents died in a car accident." Steve said. Tony and Steve looked at me.

"So, now he is here. The man who killed my parents, the man who is a murderer?" Tony asked and I sighed.

"Fury wanted him here. Whether he knows is something you will have to take up with him. I'm just doing my job and taking orders." I said and Steve scoffed. I ignored him and looked back at Tony. "I know it's not easy to understand right now but he didn't know what he was doing Tony. He was the Winter Solider at the time. He was brainwashed and had to follow certain orders." I said and Tony just looked at the table.

"Who is in charge of his care?" Steve asked.

"I am. I am in charge of this mission until completion." I said and Steve clenched his jaw.

"Then I want into see him." Steve said and I shook my head.

"With all due respect Ste -..." I started to say.

"Captain Rogers." Steve said and I knew he was pissed.

"Steve..." Tony groaned, and I just slight shook my head.

"With all due respect Captain Rogers, you are not permitted near his containment." I said.

"Upon who's orders?!" Steve yelled.

"Mine! You are too close and are not permitted!" I yelled back. Steve stood up clamming his hand on the table.

"I will go take this up with Director Fury."

"If that what you wish Captain, but I am Director Carter and at the same level as Director Fury. In fact, higher at this point because this is something Foreign Affairs which is what I'm Director over. You have any issues you take them up with me." I said. Steve approached me fast and got in my face.

"STEVE! ENOUGH!" Tony yelled and Steve backed down.

"I thought you both had the right to know but I have to go now." I said and I walked out of the room.

I had done it, ruined everything I had with Steve for another stupid lie.
