Steve and I had set a date, but it had been a few days since the funeral, and I was back at work. I was sitting in Fury's office.

"It's only been 3 days, you sure you are okay to be back?" Fury asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, honestly. I was just sitting at home deep cleaning the house. I had nothing else to do, the house was scrubbed clean." I said and he laughed.

"Well welcome back to work. There are some files on your desk I would like you to look over if you can." Fury said and I nodded.

"Of course, I will go get right on that." I said and he then sighed and handed me another file.

"I was also wondering if you wanted to close this file...?" Nick asked and I looked at him confused.

"Peggy Carter? She was still an Agent? She told us she retired." I said and Nick just shook his head.

"She was still an informant and helped with some cases. Her file needs fully closed." Nick said and I sighed with a nod.

"I can have someone else do it." Nick said and I shook my head.

"It should be me." I said and Nick nodded. There was a knock on his door and then it opened.

"Sorry Director. Captain Rogers is here for you." His secretary said and I stood up.

"I'll go do this; you have your meeting with Steve." I said and went to leave.

"Steve huh?" Nick said and I just shook my head with a smile. Steve walked in and I was heading to the door, and he smiled at me.

"Carter."

"Rogers." I replied. As we passed each other he subtly and quickly grabbed my hand giving it a squeeze.

"I may only have one eye, but I saw that." Nick said and we all laughed.

"Have a good meeting gentlemen." I said and they both nodded. I walked to my office and sat down staring at Peggy's file. I opened it and started looking at everything she had done or accomplished. I saw a picture in the file of Steve pre-serum, and I smiled. I took it from the file and placed it on my desk, I wanted the picture. As I was finishing up her file there was a knock on my open door, and I looked up to see Steve standing there.

"Captain Rogers, what can I do for you?" I asked with a smile, and he smiled closing my door.

"Summer." He said coming over to my desk and I smiled as he leaned down and kissed my cheek. He then saw the picture. "Why do you have this?" Steve asked.

"Because I wanted it and it was in Peggy's file." I said and Steve groaned.

"You really want this picture?" Steve asked and I nodded.

"You were so cute even pre-serum." I said and Steve shook his head.

"Whatever you say." Steve said and I laughed.

"So, was there a reason you came in or just to see me?" I asked and he smiled.

"Well, I came in to see you to tell you there was a change to our date and I need you to wear a certain outfit." Steve said and I looked at him oddly. "I have Nat dropping it off at you house, I will pick you up tomorrow at 6." Steve said and I smiled

"Very secretive Steven." I said and he smiled.

"You'll enjoy it. Trust me." Steve said and I smiled.

"I will see you tomorrow evening then Captain Rogers." I said.

"See you then." Steve said and walked out.

My day beyond that was pretty boring. When I got home Nat was sitting on my porch waiting for me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked and he held up a dress and shoe bag. "You could have just left them." I said and she shook her head and held up a bottle of wine.

"I thought we could have a glass and look at this dress. I want your honest thoughts." Nat said and I looked concerned.

"Now I'm worried." I said and walked up to my door, unlocking it and we walked in.

Nat went straight to my bedroom, and I went straight to the kitchen to get the wine glasses and corkscrew. Once we opened the bottle and poured a glass for each of us then hung the dress bag on my closet door.

"How bad is it?" I asked and Nat shook her head.

"I picked it out, of course it's nice but I just don't know what idea you will get when you see it." Nat said and I sighed. I unzipped the dress bag and laughed.

"Okay so...now this date is totally confusing me." I said taking a long sip of wine.
