Victor's Pov.

I woke up to the endless buzzing from my phone, hissing I receive the call still subconscious.

"Happy birthday handsome". Came Sharon giggling.Smiling i reply.

"Thanks babe, but you interrupted my sleep hope you know".

"That's the aim, chears to big thirty". She screamed, making me withdraw the phone my ear. Sharon could be handful sometimes.

"So what's the celebration going to be like, i can make an order and it will be delivered this evening". She continued, making me give up on my sleep. She was sure going to keep me talking till forever.

"I made reservations for that already" I broke in.

"And you didn't see it fit to inform me Victor". She replied.

she referred to me as Victor whenever she was pissed.

"Sorry my pumpkin". I teased

"Don't even try sugar coating your words, annoying human ".She replied making me laugh hard .

"Annoying huh? But you love my annoying ass". I teased further.

"Your not always in Nigeria ,how comes you made reservations already? She questioned.

"Well, the food vendor Bukky ordered at the reunion". I replied.

"She's not bad, you made a good decision.I was thinking you ordered from one of this agbero Baker's". She replied.

"Cut me some slacks abeg, i chipped in ".Say na, agbero baker" I added mimicking her accent.

"So we agreed on the venue I chose right? She questioned ignoring my tease.

"Yes my love". I replied.

"Please next time don't plan stuffs like that without informing me". She replied".

"Is that why your forming hard woman now". I replied.

"Vic...." She started to retort, before my interruption.

"You woke me up and now I want you, right here, this minute" .

"Is the birthday boy horny this morning". She teased. Laughing I reply

"Well if your assumptions are true, what are you going to do about it?.

"I have to go Vic, talk later I love you ".Came her abrupt reply ending the call.

I stared at the phone wondering what must be so urgent during the early hours of the day.

Just when I was about leaving for the bathroom my phone rings again, this time it was kemi.

"Good morning and happy birthday". Came her voice immediately i received the call.

"Morning, and thank you" I reply waiting for what she had to say.

"You didn't tell me what time your driver would be coming" She replied.

"Oh that ,he should be there by six in the evening.The dinner starts by eight". I replied.

"Ok that wouldn't be a problem, i wanted to confirm". She acknowledged.

"Yea so we cool right?

"Yes sure ,later then". She replied hanging up.

Again I stared at my cellphone, my head raging with thoughts.
