Victor's POV

I couldn't help it as all I did was sit and look over the picture  of the girl who had made such allegations against Kelvin.

She appeared to be very much younger but an adult obviously. And I wasn't surprised to know Kelvin could have grown feelings for her. She was pretty. Petite and obviously still  a fresher in university.

But what held my interest was why she had made such allegations.  She didn't posses that razz and spoilt kid nature. But rather a well mannered lady that had good home training. Or maybe she was just  covering up. Else why would someone. A lady come as far as zaria. A place in Kaduna state, leave to visit a man in Lagos?

I was entirely confused. More confused even after kelvin had admitted been friends with her. But if truly his words held water. Why would she willingly allow him have  full access to her then turn around and call it rape.

What where her reasons? I sighed fustrated and had no  other alternative, but to call Kemi. I needed some sort of confinement. Someone I could just forget all my worries with .

I scrolled through my contact tapping on her caller i.d as I exhaled calming my nerves to atleast hear a sweet tone.

She picked on the second ring and was mute. Clearing my vocals I broke in.

"Hey"

"Hey".  She replied also, rather uninterested.

"Are you free tonight?"  I  inquired.

"Yes. I guess I am. Any problem?"

"No. Not  atall. Just wanted us to hang out." I replied hiding my annoyance at her previous response.

"Hang out?. Hmm. Do you want to say anything?"

"It is ok. Clearly your not interested or you just don't want to admit your busy."   I huffed

"You should have something you would want to tell me Victor. Why you pretending like all is well?"

"Honestly. It is nothing. I just miss you. That's all."  I chuckled.

"Nothing?"

"Yes. Nothing "   I affirmed

"Okay."

"So, are you coming?"

She was quiet for a moment and all I could hear was the tickling sound of the clock on the wall.

"Yes. I would be coming."  Came her response and i smiled.

"I will send you an Uber.."

"Okay, nice . Later then."  She replied hurriedly.

"Wait. You didn't tell me if you loved the dress."    I frowned

"I did. Nice dress"

"Later then". I replied annoyed at her non challant attitude

Kemi's POV

"If you don't intend seeing him why lead him on? You would have just said you were busy."  Ronke rolled her eyes.

"What will you have me do? Ronke, I am so confused." I blurted.

"So do you want to see him or not?"

"That is the problem Ronke. I feel like I shouldn't. But I miss him."
