"I wasn't raped or even pregnant." Adesua continued. Ronke and I exchanged quick glances stupified.

"Your not pregnant?" Ronke furrowed her brows in confusion.

"I don't understand what you are saying. But you should get up let's leave for the court " I replied.

"Kemi.Kelvin is innocent I swear on it. " Ade started to sob.

"Ade, do you know the repercussions on the words you're spilling? Is it fear eating you up? If it is cheer up. Myself and Kemi will support you." Ronke advised.

"It's not fear Ronke. I just feel guilty. I am sorry I lied to you all . I swear Kelvin is clean. Yes we both have been together. But he hasn't forced himself on me."

The new piece of Information had a toil on me and I relaxed on the bed finding my breathe.

This was beyond crazy.

"Kelvin and I had just met once. It is true that we both started to chat via Facebook. I liked him alot and I think he did too. He was very friendly and supportive. So I had suggested I visit him but he kept refusing. After much persuasion, he finally had accepted and that led to my first visit to his house. "

"Hmm." I sighed consumed in the story. Ronke signalled that she continue.

"He didn't seem threatening atall but I can't recall what had led to our misunderstanding but I was angry with him and he....?"

"And so he raped you?" I completed.

"No. He didn't rape me.  I told him I was a virgin and he didn't go further. He asked me to go home."

"Wow!" Ronke exclaimed bemused.

"So what happened next?" I frowned.

"There is this lady. She is dark skinned. Her name is Sophia. She contacted me the same day telling me she could help me . She told me Kelvin is a very bad guy and has a case with the police already. She said alot of mean things about him: She said he was used to decieving young girls via social media. But I was lucky he hadn't done same with me. I got scared when she said Kelvin would hunt me down and kill me stressing on the fact that he killed all his victim. So I got scared. I was left with no other alternative than to lie."

"So, the pregnancy is a scheme? But the test results?" I bluffed confused. If the test results had proved positive why was she saying other wise. "Are you pregnant for another man?"

Instantly she stood from the bed walking towards a locked drawer. Retrieving a single key from her breast pocket, she unlocked the drawer retrieving a sealed bottle.

"I used this urine for the test. That's why it's positive.  I swear I am not pregnant. I lied. " She explained.

"And the urine? Where did you get it?" Ronke inquired.

"Sophia gave it to me."

"Who is this Sophia?" I frowned annoyed with who could stoop so low to an extent.

"I don't know. She just said she was someone that knew Kelvin so well."

"I am really disappointed in you Ade. You're more than this,"  I sighed in irritation "  First and foremost, why will you leave school without telling anyone and travel down to Lagos just to see a stranger you barely know? What if you were truly harmed?"

"I am so sorry Kemi." She was crying again.

"You didn't stop there. You went to the point of allowing another stranger fill you with information you weren't sure were valid or not. At this point you still couldn't contact me and tell me you were in trouble. You and your so called Sophia who is now your God to send you around made you leave home and travel down here to make a false accusations on a man. Do you know the consequences for your stupid actions?"
