Hello my lovelies! Sorry I didn't update last week. I was on holiday and VERY burnt out. As far as I know, regular updates on Sunday night will resume :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Liyue Harbor is like a glimmering piece of mora, for lack of a better term. It was bustling all the time, and there were so many people from so many nations! Best of all, it wasn't a snowy, barren wasteland full of people whose faces aren't hostile or covered by a mask.
"We can't be sightseeing right now," Kuni snapped as he grabbed your hand to drag you to the outskirts of Liyue Harbor. Even though the Fatui own Northland Bank, you were here for less official matters. After all, this was more of a secret mission.
Basically, just hide in the shadows and make sure Childe doesn't do anything stupid. In the wise words of Kunikuzushi, "He's young, dumb, and I hate his attitude." If you're being honest, it was completely understandable.
You set up camp on the Western border of Liyue Harbor in a cave. And YOU HATED IT. It was cold and wet and you were constantly shivering. Unfortunately, Kuni replied to this by saying. "I don't care, just be better. Anyways, we have more important things to attend to."
So here is phase one of your plan: infiltrate. You donned disguises (it was a pain to get Scara to leave the hat behind) and went out into the streets to observe the rite of descension.
You had heard of the rite of descension when you were a kid, so the tradition is at least 1,000 years old now. Every year, the God of Geo, Rex Lapis, descends from the heavens to give the yearly predictions or something. Honestly, having a fortune-telling money-making dragon as your god didn't seem so bad.
"Oh mY gOsH KuNi! She's so hot!" you grabbed his face and made him look in the direction of a beautiful woman with ruby red eyes and flowing pearl-white hair.
"That's Ningguang, the Tianquan." Kunikuzushi said. "She leads Liyue when Rex Lapis has better things to do. Also if you touch my face again I will smack you."
"Oooo is she an Adeptus?" you asked, ignoring the shrimp's threat. You had never seen an Adeptus before, but you had heard many distant stories about Rex Lapis's god-like underlings.
"No, she's human. I doubt any Adepti are in Liyue anymore."
A hush came over the crowd. The air was full of tension as Ningguang performed this...ritual thing? Suddenly, the clouds parted and a dragon who shimmered like amber fell from the sky.
With... a crash?
You heard Kuni "tch." It must not be good then.
The Tianquan rushed forward. She inspected the body of the dragon before standing up and turning to face the crowd.
"Rex Lapis is dead! Seal the exits!" she shouted.
"Oh no. Oh nononnonononononono. We're gonna get in trouble-" you panic as Kunikuzushi grabs your wrist. You duck and weave amongst the people. Well, you're doing most of the dodging. He's getting through easily with his height advantage. You suppose one inch shorter does make a difference.
You spotted a blonde guy in strange clothes slip through an exit, and several guards followed him. Seeing this, you drag Kuni to the opposite side of the area. You were able to slip out unnoticed thanks to the blondie.
Once you were basically on the other side of the city, you collapse on a bench, panting. That was close. WAY to close.
"Come on, we need to get back there and investigate this," Kunikuzushi muttered.
You shakily rose and followed him.
"Hey, Kuni..."
"Hm?"
