You woke up to a cool cloth on your face. Ew... you groaned and reached up to peel the nasty thing off your forehead, but someone else did it for you. Groggily, you opened your (e/c) eyes, meeting gold ones.
"X-Xiao?" you asked tentatively. It hurt to talk, and you knew what you said sounded really garbled. He simply nodded and left the room, taking the bowl of water and the rag with him.
Now that you were alone, you slowly sat up and looked around. Unfortunately, you got up too fast, and your head began to spin. Before you collapsed back against the bed, an invisible force caught your head so it wouldn't collide with the headboard. Didn't Xiao leave the room? You knew he was quick, but he couldn't be that quick. You craned your neck up and saw a very angry face.
"What were you thinking?" the Balladeer whisper-shouted. He was clearly pissed, but as for why you had noOoOooOOOoooo idea.
You chuckled hoarsely. "The way I see it, no one else was gonna help, and I didn't know where you were."
He scoffed, "You're lucky that adeptus pulled you out of the water, 'cause I had no idea where you were. Kunikuzushi shifted back to his spot against the wall, letting his hat tip down below his eyes.
"Are you mad at me?" you asked.
"No, annoyed."
You sighed in relief, "Good, so it's nothing new!"
"Getting killed is not something to be nonchalant about," he muttered.
You rolled your eyes.

A few days later, you were set on heading back to Liyue Harbor. Why? You thought it would be a good idea to show the Fatui doing some good and helping rebuild. Kuni didn't like the idea, but you didn't really care.
Smiley Yanxiao had packed you both lunches for the road, and as you were heading down the path, you turned back around to see a teal speck on the balcony. Grinning, you waved at the emo dot. You couldn't see his expression, but Xiao extended an arm into the air and waved back for like 0.2 seconds.
You smiled and turned back around heading towards the city.
Despite having made it to Liyue Harbor in more or less one piece, you unfortunately caught to eyes of a certain purple twin-tail.
"Hey! You! Fatui!" she called angrily.
Of course, she had to use that descriptor. You stopped dead in your tracks and turned around slowly.
"I don't believe I've properly introduced myself. I saw you at the battle of Osial, and I must say you fight admirably. I am the Yuheng, Keqing."
"Oh, uh hi!" you said. Kunikuzushi just stood there trying to look menacing.
"I know you're Fatui, but the Qixing put special trust in you after the battle of Osial. Would you mind lending a hand in rebuilding the city?" she asked ever so politely. You grinned. You like this chick, she gets straight to the point.
"Of course! That's why we're here!" you sensed Kuni doing a silent protest, but you easily ignored his warning.
"Excellent! I'm handling preparing the upcoming Lantern Rite, but technical details must be dealt with first. The Jade Chamber's construction is well underway, and most of the monsters have been driven off, but we need someone to rebuild the docks, as well as handle a few commissions from the Adventurer's Guild." She took out a paper fan and spun it in her hand dramatically, pointing it at Scaramouche. "You don't seem like a people-person, so I am putting you on a repair team. You will have no team members because we're stretched so thin." Keqing then spun her fan and pointed it at you. She flicked it and the fan opened up, releasing a small list of tasks that floated gracefully into your hands.
