~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You've been on the front lines of Liyue for two months now, with Dottore and Signora by your side. You've fought relentlessly, and cornered the remainder of your enemies' army off in Liyue Harbor.
Dottore walks towards you, smiling. "Are you ready for the last stand?" he asked.
You nodded. "Of course."
You raised the banner of the 9th Battalion–your battalion–and your army rushed off. You, Dottore, and Signora were going to the Jade Chamber to finish off the Tianquan, Ningguang.
It might have been broad daylight, but with thousands of Fatui fighting everywhere–well let's just say your escapade went unnoticed.
You headed towards the South of Liyue Harbor where one of Signora's underlings had confiscated a floating–rock–thing that lead to the Jade Chamber.
The three of you stepped on, and rode up, up, and up.
You looked out over the city below you, engulfed in flames and and the cries of the dying. Is this what you were fighting for? No. You're thinking wrong. You're fighting for the Tsaritsa because she gave you a second chance at life. Because you had a family within the Fatui. Right?
"Get ready," Dottore's voice brought you to reality. It's time. Milelith rush at you as soon as you step foot onto the Jade Chamber's platform. Thankfully, you made it inside unscathed due to Dottore throwing these needle–like weapons into the solder's necks. The accuracy is deadly.
"Before we go any further," Dottore whispered, catching your attention.
"Signora, take out as many staff as you can find."
"Of course, Doctor."
"Zasha, you're gonna find Ningguang, and kill her."
"You can count on me." you whispered back.
"I'll find as much information as possible, read it, then destory it." Dottore finished.
You parted ways, and you instantly headed for the most grandeous room. You burst in, whipping your broadsword out, but no one was there. You paced around the elaborate bedroom, and noticed the giant king–sized bed. You took a running start, and poof! Plopped on the bed. It was nice and fluffy. You sat up and admired the room, then noticed a rug that was crooked. Odd...
You got up and went to investigate further, lifting up the rug. Ooo! A trapdoor! You pulled it open and hopped down below, finding...three ladies wielding weapons. Great... Thankfully, you knocked them out fairly quick, and headed in.
A gorgeous woman was sitting at a table, maps spread out before her. She had glittering ruby eyes and hair the color of moonlight itself. She looked, scared, naturally, but also...confused?
"How...(y/n)–" she cut herself off.
"Who's (y/n)? you asked. "I'm Zasha."
Something dawned on her, and she got up, geo vision sparkling.
"You traitor!" she shouted, hurling stones the color of amber at your head. Thankfully, your claymore was stronger, but it was still a pain.
"I'm sorry, I don't understand!" you shouted, "I just met you!"
Before she opened her mouth, you snapped your fingers, and she was electrocuted before your very eyes.
"The...hell?" you heard a voice behind you and whirl around.
"Great, I really don't particularly enjoy killing people...are we gonna have a problem?" you asked.
"Yes I have a problem! You're alive! You killed Ningguang! You're wearing a Fatui uniform!" the boy shouts, walking forward, hand outstretched and shaky. You slapped him away.
"Don't touch me or act like you know me! Pervert!" you shouted back.
His indigo eyes become dark, and even more of a complex swirl than they already were. You see hurt, confusion, anger, and your own reflection swimming in the center.
"(Y/n)...what do you mean you don't know me?" he asked softly.
"Again with this (y/n) talk! My name is Zasha, not (y/n). Who even are you anyway?" you retorted.
"It's me, Kuni. Kunikuzushi!"
Something in your heart, mind, and soul sparks, the flames begin to fan.
"Finally, I've found you, Kunikuzushi," you laughed, "It's time to fulfill my vow...and kill you!"
You lunged forward, and the boy grabbed his hat off of his head, using the metal rim to parry your blow.
"Why do you want to fight me? What did I do?"
"What did you do?" you scoffed. "You tried to kill me, you've brought my friends so much pain... what other excuse is there?" you said, sending a jolt of electro his way. He's unaffected.
"I would never kill you, (n/n)! What are you going on about??"
"It's Zasha," you corrected, annoyed. "And don't you play that game on me! I may have amnesia, but that doesn't mean I'm naive!"
He stopped in his tracks, stunned. His eyes. Those eyes that pulled you closer... you don't like seeing them like that for some reason. Wait, why should you care? He's the enemy!
A flash of blue cuts your cheek. Condensed water.
"What are you doing?" a boy with the worst haircut ever shouted at Kunikuzushi. "Fight them!"
Kunikuzushi buckled his knees, and fell to the floor.
"I...I can't kill them!" he shouted. "(N/n)–Zasha! Don't you recognize me? At all?" his voice is desperate, pleading.
"They have to be stopped, Kuni!" the other boy said. "We have to do what's right for the people of Liyue!"
"I don't give a flying fuck about the people of Liyue, Xingqiu," Kunikuzushi snarls. "(Y/n) might be on the Fatui's side, but I still love them! It's obvious that they aren't in their right mind! I have to believe that there's still something left in there, deep down inside!"
Xingqiu jumped over you, landing on your other side.
"I am sorry, my liege," he said, tears welling up in the corners of his eyes. "In the name of Guhua, this encounter shall never be forgotten."
You ready your claymore, and he his sword. Your blades take off at lightning speed. The hydro swords he makes are zapped out of existence your atmosphere of electro forming. You could see Kunikuzushi out of the corner of your eye, searching for an opening to break up the fight, but there was none. It was two skilled warriors, pinned against the other. Each one an obstacle to something the other wanted.
Suddenly, you're pulled backward by your shirt collar. You whirled around.
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR GODDAMN MIND?!" you yelled at whoever did that. Then you scoffed. Of course it was Kunikuzushi. Before you could regain your senses and fight again, you saw a single glistening droplet of pure vermillion sparkle on the floor. You had slashed a nasty gash on Xingqiu's cheek. That would leave a scar.
"Quit trying to stop me, Kunikuzushi!" Xingqiu shouted, wiping the blood away. He quickly readied himself. "Now is time for my true power."
"I won't let you hurt them!" Kuni said, standing in front of you. What was his deal? Does he want to finish the job himself?
You saw Xingqiu disappear, then felt it a second too late.
"For Liyue, my liege," he whispered in your ear.
The pain started when he pulled the rapier out of your abdomen.
OMG GUYS I DID IT!!! I'll publish the last chapter later today (I'm not gonna torture you with a cliffhanger) once again tytyty for the support!!!
