FEW HOURS LATER

"Enjoyed your ice cream?" Scarlett asked, smiling.

Y/N licked her lips, finishing up with her ice cream, "Yes, yes. Thank you so much for the treat." She said, smiling.

After spending more time with Y/S/N, Y/N went to pick up Scarlett for their ice cream date at the park.

"You have something here." Scarlett said with a soft chuckle.

Y/N just watched as Scarlett moved closer to her, and the green-eyed actress wiped the side of her mouth with her thumb.

"There, all clean and beautiful." Scarlett said, smiling. Then she licked her thumb.

Damn. Y/N thought, she can feel herself blushing. "Thanks." She said.

"You're welcome." Scarlett said, smiling widely.

I'm still so shy around this woman, god. Y/N thought and cleared her throat.

"Tell me, what's your favorite song?" Scarlett asked. She didn't move back to her previous spot, she just stayed close to Y/N.

Y/N smiles excitedly, "I don't know! I have a lot!"

Scarlett giggle at Y/N's cuteness. "Okay, let's say... what song would you play in this very moment?" She asked.

"Probably... All Night by Lauren Jauregui." Y/N said, smiling.

Scarlett raised an eyebrow, smiling. "Sing it for me, please."

"Um," Y/N laughs softly, "Sure."

Y/N starts humming first, before she sings.

Scarlett smiles, enjoying Y/N's calming voice.

Y/N smiles once she's done.

Scarlett smiles, "It's perfect. That's the same song that I would probably play in this very moment. Or... any moment with you."

Y/N blush, chuckling. But then she turned serious, "Hey, are you really sure about this? Do you really want to be with me even though we're still not sure that chemo will work?"

Scarlett held Y/N's hand, smiling and nodding her head, "More than sure, Y/N. I want this, I really do. I won't lose hope, and I'll cherish every moments with you, and I'll carry you in my heart forever." She said, kissing Y/N's knuckles.

Y/N smiles, "Thank you for doing this, Scar."

Scarlett sighs, smiling. "Anything for you, Y/N."

Y/N hummed while playing with Scarlett's fingers. "I wanna ask you something."

"What is it?" Scarlett asked.

"Did you... have a childhood friend?" Y/N asked, looking at Scarlett's face.

Scarlett hummed, thinking. Then she nodded her head, "Yeah, actually. But we moved when I turned ten and I never heard from her again. I remember she had a baby sister, an adorable one." She said, chuckling. "Actually, now that I think of it, you have the same name as her baby sister and the same... eyes." She added and furrowed her eyebrows.

"Well, the baby sister is me, so..." Y/N said, biting her bottom lip.

Scarlett's eyes widened, "No..."

"Yes." Y/N said, smiling and nodding her head.

Scarlett gasped, and cupped Y/N's cheeks. "Are you serious?" She asked, almost as if she was breathless because of how shocked she was.

Y/N nodded her head, blushing. "I am."

"Holy fucking shit," Scarlett gasped. "That's why you're familiar, especially your eyes."

Y/N chuckle softly, "Yeah."

"Why didn't you tell me right away?" Scarlett asked, holding Y/N's hands again.

"Same reason why I didn't want to continue seeing you. I just thought that why would I need to tell you, if it'll end up hurting you? So, yeah." Y/N said with a small smile.

"This is crazy." Scarlett said. "Wait, Y/S/N is in the rehabilitation center right now?"

"Mhm," Y/N hummed, nodding her head.

"What happened?" Scarlett asked, caressing Y/N's hands.

"Well," Y/N started, taking a deep breath.

— after telling everything to the green-eyed woman, Y/N felt a bit better and it was like a huge weight was lifted off of her shoulders.

Hearing about what happened to Y/N breaks Scarlett's heart, and she feels bad about what happened to her childhood friend.

"I'm so sorry that you had to deal with that alone." Scarlett said, smiling sadly.

"I pulled through, that's what matters." Y/N said. "And I'm just happy that Y/S/N is getting the help that she needs."

"I'll pay her a visit when I have time." Scarlett said, smiling.

"She would love that," Y/N said, smiling. "She said she missed you."

Scarlett smiles, "I missed her too."

Y/N just smiled.

"This is crazy," Scarlett said, laughing. "Wow. I knew you'd grow into a beautiful woman."

"Did you?" Y/N giggled.

"Of course," Scarlett replied, "I adored you. You were so shy around me, but whenever you thought I wasn't looking, you'd be your bubbly self. It was so cute."

Y/N covered her face, blushing. "Oh my god, that's so embarrassing."

Scarlett laugh, shaking her head. "It was adorable."

"No!" Y/N whined.

"See? You're still adorable." Scarlett teased.

Y/N just groaned, still covering her face. And Scarlett laughed, watching Y/N.
