Y/N came back inside, she's embarrassed and nervous.

"Well, hello, my baby sister." Y/S/N said as soon as she saw Y/N walking their way. "My, oh so in love, baby sister." She added with an eyebrow raised and a smirk.

Scarlett looked at her girlfriend, smiling widely.

Oh my god. Can I just die now? Wait, no. Too dark and too soon. Y/N thought, shaking her head.

Scarlett and Y/S/N stood up and hugged each other.

"We're leaving?" Y/N asked.

"Yeah," Scarlett said. "Visiting hours are over."

"Oh, okay." Y/N said, she doesn't want to be alone with Scarlett right now. She's nervous.

"Come here." Y/S/N said, opening her arms for her sister.

Y/N smiles and went to hug Y/S/N, she sighs and hugged her sister tighter. "I love you, Y/S/N. I'll see you soon, okay?"

"Please visit me again." Y/S/N said, "I love you."

Y/N nodded her head and pulled away, she smiles and kissed her sister's cheek. "Behave, okay?"

"Of course." Y/S/N said, chuckling. "Take care of my baby sister, Scarlett." She said, looking at her friend. "And it was really nice seeing you again." She added, smiling.

"It was nice seeing you too," Scarlett said, smiling. "And don't worry, I'll take care of her."

Y/N bit her bottom lip, smiling a little.

The couple said their goodbyes to Y/S/N before they left the rehabilitation center. They silently made their way to Scarlett's car and got inside.

"So," Scarlett spoke, looking at her girlfriend.

"Hm?" Y/N hummed, not looking at her girlfriend at all. She's about to buckle up but Scarlett stopped her.

"Baby," Scarlett whispered. "Look at me. I wanna see you."

Biting her bottom lip, Y/N turned her head and looked at her girlfriend.

Scarlett smiles, "Adorable."

Y/N chuckled, blushing.

"Can we talk about what happened earlier?" Scarlett asked, smiling.

"I don't see why not," Y/N said, giving in. She doesn't have much time anyway. "I don't have much time, so I'm not gonna deny what I said because that's what I'm feeling. That's what I feel for you, Scarlett."

Scarlett smiles, "Yeah? Say it again and this time, say it directly to me."

Y/N reach for Scarlett's face, caressing her cheek. She looks between Scarlett's beautiful green eyes and smiles. "I love you so much, Scarlett. I'm in love with you and I've adored you for so long."

Scarlett's heart thumped. She smiles and kissed Y/N's palm. "I love you too, Y/N. I love you so much." She said.

Y/N sighed, smiling. She leaned in and pulled Scarlett's face closer, then she rests their foreheads against each other and closes her eyes. "I love you."

"I love you more, Y/N." Scarlett said, smiling and closing her eyes too. "I love you."

Y/N sighs in contentment before giving Scarlett's lips three kisses, whispering I love you.

Scarlett smiles widely, she pulled away to look at her girlfriend. "You're so beautiful. And your eyes... they're my favorite." She said.

Y/N smiles, but she's getting emotional. She knows Scarlett also wanted this, but no matter how much she's trying to be okay with this and their relationship, she can't. She knows once she's gone, it will break her girlfriend, and just thinking about that breaks her too. And the worst part is that she can't do anything to stop what's coming for her.

She can't stop death.

"Hey," Scarlett whispered, she can see that Y/N's in deep thoughts. "What's wrong, baby?"

Y/N gulped, shaking her head. She let go of Scarlett's face and sighed. "I... can I ask you something?"

Scarlett nodded her head, "Of course, baby."

Y/N took a deep breath. "Are you really sure about this?" She asked.

"About what? About us?" Scarlett asked too.

"Yeah," Y/N answered, "I'm sorry, I know we've talked about it. I'm just... I can't stop thinking about what will happen to you once I... once I-I die."

Scarlett's heart ached upon hearing that, but she smiled. She held Y/N's hands in hers and kissed the back of it. "I understand, you don't have to apologize for thinking about me, okay? But I assure you, I'm more than fine with this. I want this, I want you so much. Yes, I wished we have more time but let's be positive, yeah? I'm not leaving your side and we will do everything on your bucket list and I will make you the happiest person, I promise. Stop doubting, my love. Let's enjoy every single day and every seconds, okay?"

Finally, Y/N smiles and nodded her head. "Okay."

"Besides, I went bald for you." Scarlett said. "That's not something that I just do, baby. I might've been short-haired before, but never bald. I'm crazy about you."

Y/N chuckled, "I know. Thank you, really."

Scarlett smiles and kissed the back of Y/N's hand, "I love you, Y/N. I love you so much." She said with so much sincerity and love.

"I love you, Scar." Y/N whispered, resting her forehead against Scarlett's.

Both of them closed their eyes while holding each other's hands. They stayed like that for a while, feeling each other's presence and being there to hold one another.
