Chapter 12 - Honey bay island

Andre's POV
I opened my eyes to be greeted by her adorable sleeping face. Her hair was scattered all over her face. I tucked a few strands of her hair behind her ears. I unknowingly smiled seeing her adjust to my touch.

I tapped her gently, "hey. Wake up now" she just turned.
"5 minutes more please," she said.
"We don't wanna miss our flight now, do we?"
She groaned.
"I hate early morning flights," she said sitting up.
"let's freshen up first, okay?"
She just nodded her head.

I got dressed in a blue shirt and white pants.

She walked out of the closet wearing a floral pink crop top and blue jeans. Her hair was up in a ponytail.

We walked out of our room and went downstairs, where her parents were already waiting for us.

We bid her parents farewell and drove to the airport.

We were 10 minutes early "I'm hungry Dre," she said.
"Should I grab us coffee and cookies?" I asked
"Yeah"

We ate before boarding the plane.
She sat near the window and I sat next to her.
It was a 10 hour flight.

" Are you sleepy?" I asked and she nodded.
" Sleep. I'll wake you up,okay?" She nodded again and fell asleep on my shoulders.

"Reyna, wake up. We're gonna land" I said gently tapping her.
" hm. I'm awake" she said, rubbing her eyes.

We collected our luggages and walked towards the exit of the airport.

A car was already waiting for us at the exit.
"Are you hungry?" I asked and she hummed.
"Wait in the car and I'll get us something to eat"
"It's fine sir, I'll go get it. You both must be tired"
"Okay. What would you like to eat?" I asked Reyna.

"A chicken hamburger and a strawberry smoothie," she said.
"Make that two chicken hamburger, a strawberry smoothie and a milkshake" I said handing the driver some money.

The island was 4 hours away from the airport.
I didn't know what happened next because I fell asleep.

I opened my eyes, I was laying down on her lap and she was busy caressing my hair. I laid there even though I was awake. Something about the way she caressed my hair made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

"We're here" I heard the driver say.
I moved a bit.
"You're awake," she said removing her hand from my hair.
"Yeah. I woke up a while ago. "
"Oh," she said.
"I'll leave the car and here's the key. If you need any assistance getting around, here's my number you can call me" he said, handing me the keys to the car.
"Okay," I said and he left.

We took our luggages inside. My belly growled and she chuckled.
"I saved your lunch and I got us dinner on our way here.
"Thanks," I said with a smile.

We didn't have the strength to unpack, it was late and we were exhausted. After eating, we went straight to bed.
