"Yes." I handed the list to the demon. "And make it all fur and wool. It should be warm. And also, the manor should be well cleaned and swept."

"Of course." 

"The carriage?" I raised my brow at the demon.

"Will arrive by noon."

"Security?"

"Doubled on all sides." I hummed in response and dismissed him. 

I was going to make up for whatever wrongs I have done. So, I was taking Ava and Aiden to the north manor for a few days. It wasn't as big as the ones I have over the land. It's more of a cosy, two-storied manor.

I noticed Ava loves going out and being in a castle is only dimming her option for living here with us. She will like the manor. Me and my dad used to go there often and I haven't gone there for many years now.

Letting out a sigh I sat back on my chair near the window opening the letters from different lords.

The storm had stopped but the weather was still cold. It will start getting warmer by next week.

I threw another letter in the pile of useless and then reached out for the last letter.

I furrowed my brows looking at the name. I haven't come past this name in the last six years, why now? Popping the wax stamp, I opened the letter.

Heard from a bird that you found your female. Lucky for you I suppose. I know you must have missed me for the past couple of years, well I have not and I surely don't know why I am writing to you.

Keeping the feud aside, I have heard that there have been sightings of Feyre. Many of my spies have located her near the queendom of wolverine. I know you are busy building your family and playing house but if you want to join me you are free too.

That being said, I wish you nothing but pain.

Only Zane has the balls to write my real name in writing. Fucking piece of shit of a brother I have.

Well, at least he found Feyre. I took out a fresh paper and replied saying I will meet him during the celestial ball which is to happen in Wolverine.

Knowing my past with Zane I don't think this will resolve in peace but I am willing to take the risk of having my sister back.

Sealing it, I handed it to the demon. I was about to start going through the drafts when the door flew open and the familiar red eyes met mine.

"Why are you ordering my men to pack my things?" He stood right in front of the desk and glared down at me with his arms crossed. 

"And good morning to you too," I said sarcastically. 

"Where are we going?" He plopped himself on the chair beside mine.

"To the north manor." I could feel the shock Aiden was showing in his silence. We had never gone there and I know he was always curious about that place.

"When?" I worked side by side as I explained it to him. "So, you just woke up this morning and decided to take us to the north manor?"

"No." I chuckled. "I have been thinking about it for a few days now and when I told you my way to make up to Ava was dinner, I kind of knew it was a stupid idea so I thought of something different."
