Ava

"My dear," Merida says as she looks straight into the mirror with me. "You look gorgeous!"

"Thank you," To be honest, I don't believe that it is me in the mirror. The dress looks exquisite and worth every coin of gold.

The deep green gown, like how the canopy trees would look in the deep forests at night. A modestly deep neckline with gems over it. My shoulders were neatly relaxing over mine. If looked closely the gown had a faint embroidery of a design similar to Cassius's markings.

I loved how bare my neck was except for my pendant. Leaving room for Aiden and Cassius's marks. I was quite nervous the other day when I lost the anklet Cassius had given me. I searched the whole castle panicking when I didn't find it.

It was odd to see Cassius brush it off, telling me he will buy me a thousand anklets more, it's only one you have lost. But then everything was normal after that. Thanks to the pendant, a backup for the anklet for not letting them know I am a werewolf.

Aiden was stressed for the past couple of days but Cassius assured me it is only due to the werewolf attacks near the borders. He is in charge of the army whereas Cassius looks after the administration and the people. But he is fine now.

Looking back in the mirror I smiled. My hair, up and properly done by Merida, had small diamonds pinned in it. Rose-colored lips and a bit of pink roused cheeks. I couldn't recognize myself in this. I looked-

"Fucking drop-dead beautiful." I turned around to see Cassius and Aiden looking at me with hungry eyes, leaning against the edge of the door.

My eyes took them in, licking my coloured lips. Aiden brown hair was neatly done, a few ends covering his ears. Sharp cheekbones and crimson eyes. He stood there lean and tall with his extravagant black suit studded with shiny green gemstones similar to my dress. With that pair of dark pants and boots.

My eyes turned to Cassius. He stood there tall, breathtakingly handsome with raven hair. He was in his demon form, red-black eyes shining due to the fireplace. He wore no sleeves, showing off his tattoos and emerald-ringed fingers. His rich deep green clothing under a long clock, embroidered with ringlets of gold, is similar to his tattoos.

They both wore their crowns on top of their heads. Gold with diamonds. Feathered black and green clasps over their shoulders.

"Wow," I was left there a gape. I cleared my throat feeling shy as I walked to them. "You both look handsome."

It was their time to blush but nodded with high chins. I chuckled as they leaned down so I could give a peck to each of them on the lips.

"I think you should change," Aiden said, making my eyes wide when Cassius nodded with him. "Too beautiful for others to see."

I let out a huff, patting his chest and not listening to his words.

"Do you know how many hours it took for me and Merida to get this dress on my body?" They looked over at her as she nodded vigorously. Their eyes shifted back to me with a hidden amusement.

"And we will gladly take it off of you after the ceremony, kitten." I pressed my lips together trying hard not to blush making them both laugh.

"Come on the carriage is ready." Nodding we left for the Celestial ball.

The journey was nice, a bit of a rough patch but it was fine. At the border, the carriage stopped. I looked outside the window; it was still covered with snow but a few leaves were now sprouting showing more green than white.

"Why did we stop?" I looked back at my males with furrowed brows.

"The carriage is getting prepared." I gave Aiden a questioning look. "There is sun in the Wolverine kingdom so we have to cover the horses the windows will get tinted as we enter the kingdom."
