No perspective.

"Isn't she one energetic pup?" The mother of the child chuckles asking her mate as she cradled the six-month-old pup in her arms.

"Mhm, that's going a problem once she grows up." He said while pecking his mate's forehead. "You better put her to bed before she wakes the whole castle up."

The mother nods and walks to her daughter's chambers through the dark hallways. It was a quiet night, a full moon booming in the starry skies.

Entering the chambers, she laid her daughter in her crib who looked up at her mother while babbling as the mother kept looking at her in an aww.

Even after nine months, it was difficult for the couple to believe they had a daughter. Having a daughter is considered a blessing of the moon goddess. Only one daughter is born in every five males. The couple themselves had four sons and now a beautiful daughter. She had two mates, both werewolves. Two from each father and now a daughter.

But with every gift comes a price.

You need to keep them safe, protected and sheltered. Even though society respects females, there are always monsters coming out in the shadows of the night.

After putting the baby to sleep, she walks over to the open balcony gazing at the moon. A smile carved up her lips when the cool breeze brushed her cheeks. Looking down from the balcony, she saw a few of their pack members lying on the grass fields with their mates. Few even gave her a respectful bow when they saw her but she missed one unwanted stare from the shadows.

Her head snapped in the direction of her child when she heard her cry. Sprinting by her side she bounced her in her arms.

"Baby Sylvaine, please sleep love, it's almost midnight." The mother said softly, trying to soothe her daughter.

The baby kept crying. The mother was confused as to why because she had already fed and changed her. How will she know that the baby just saw something that will give her nightmares for the rest of her life?

She was terrified of those eyes, that pale face and the aura surrounding it in her dream. The demon didn't leave the room and kept looking between the mother and her daughter.

He thought it would be good to take the mother as well. After all, she was alone and unprotected. But he couldn't, knowing he has orders from someone, he needed to take the baby. That was his priority.

The baby calmed down as her mother lulled her back to sleep and laid her back in her crib. Walking towards the windows she closed the curtains and doors.

Uncertainty. That is what she felt when she was about to leave her daughter's chambers. Uneasiness set upon her when she looked at her daughter. Her conscience telling her not to leave her daughter alone. The mother concentrates upon her wolf, trying to sense anything unusual.

Nothing.

Nothing other than the cold breeze coming from the balcony. She pressed her lips in a thin line and walked towards the crib. Her wolf was on edge which made her worry.

Carefully picking her baby, she walks to the door but a small gasp leaves her mouth when the door closes shut. Her heart races as she looks around the darkroom. The door wouldn't close when there were no strong winds.

Before she could mind link one of her mates, she was shoved to the wall. Her grip tightens around her daughter protectively, trying to find the source of harm. Her wolf was still weak from giving birth so she couldn't take control.

She felt defenseless for the first time. She is the Luna; she is supposed to be strong. But how will she do that when she doesn't know who her attacker is?
