I walked into the living room and Y/N was sitting on the couch, remote in hand.
"What are we watching tonight?"
"You'll see."
I tried to peek at the screen, but he pressed play before I could see what it was.
"Come on, sit down!"
I sat down next to him, and I saw a grin on his face as the movie began to play.
(Alex is currently attempting to recover from the scene in DDLC where Yuri has the really scary eyes so I'm writing this fluff)
"Huh? Why did you choose The Conjuring?" I looked at Y/N.
"I thought it would be a... good choice." I saw his face go red as he turned back to the TV.
He was trying very hard to focus.

~After the movie, your POV~
L and I were huddled together on the couch, result of my movie choice. I think I chose well. However, I was actually quite scared.
"Okay, time for you to go to bed," Lawliet said.
"Not you?"
"No, I don't need to. Now come on." He stood up, leaving me on the couch.
"I don't want to go to sleep."
"Why not? You must be tired. It's late."
I really didn't expect the movie to be that scary. Honestly, I was a bit creeped out to be on my own right now. How was I supposed to make an excuse without Lawliet discovering my lie?
"Um, I-" before I could finish, L scooped me off the couch, and was suddenly holding me bridal style.
"You're going to bed now."
I didn't expect this from him, but I knew he was determined, so I let him take me to the bed.
He tossed me on the bed. He's a lot stronger than he looks, apparently.
"Go to sleep."
He clicks off the lights and I can hear his footsteps trailing out of the room. Just before he can leave, I call out to him.
"Wait, Lawliet."
"Yes, Yume?"
"Can you... I mean, could you... could you stay here with me for a while?" My speaking speeds up, "I mean, you don't have to sleep in bed with me or anything- but I would really appreciate it if you just stayed with me here until I fell asleep.." I trailed off.
"Of course, why wouldn't I?" His footsteps moved back to the bed, and I felt the mattress dip as he sat on the edge of the bed.
He laid down next to me, pulling the blanket up to his chest.
"Hm, it's been a while since I've slept a full night. I almost forget how comforting a nice bed and good rest is."
He moved a little closer to me. He wrapped his arms around me. I could feel my face go hot as he pulled me close to him.
He took a deep breath, and nuzzled his face into my neck. I breathed in his scent, hoping he wouldn't notice my erratic breathing. He smelled like a fresh bakery and sweat. He needed a shower.
Eh, that was an issue for another day. For now, I just needed to relax with Lawliet.
