(isnt he so cute l;sdkujghwiau)
~Your POV~
Soon, I found myself on a plane to the UK, facing the usual headache again. I groaned and let my head fall down onto the pullout tray. Once again, we rode in a first class passenger plane, because neither Lawliet nor I knew how to pilot a private jet.
I slept on and off throughout the flight, and 12 hours later, we were landing in England.
Lawliet rented a car and drove us into a small town area. Soon, we were in front of a large, towering brick building. The wrought iron gate read, Wammy's House.
"I'm really here again, after all these years..." Lawliet said to himself. He didn't seem happy, just like he had an overwhelming feeling of melancholy.
"Everything okay Lawliet?" I asked him.
"Yes... I've just missed this place, and I don't like the circumstances that brought us here."
He hopped out of the car, and I followed suit.
Waiting inside was a man in a suit and a few small children behind him.
(btw i will be making up kids in wammys house because near, matt, and mello are adults now and no longer stay there so yay)
"Hello, I've been waiting for you, X."
The, man addressed us by our shared alias, which I found odd, but I ignored it.
"Hello Roger, you may address us by our names here, no need for anonymity," Lawliet said.
Roger nodded and guided us inside.
"Welcome to Wammy's House, Y/N," he spoke softly as not to distract the children from their individual tasks.
"It's a pleasure to be here."
After my short tour, I was shown to our room, and I quickly got to unpacking.
~A few hours later~
After finally getting all my clothes mildly more organized, I put on an outfit that didn't make me look like I had lived on the streets for the past few days.
I then went downstairs to introduce myself to the children there.
Currently, there were eight of them. Rey, Charlie, Elliot, Quinn, Preston, Taylor, Benjamin, and Leah. All of them were geniuses in the making, the youngest of which was Quinn, who was only 6.
I did a group introduction, and then addressed them each individually, so they could ask any questions they wanted.
Rey was quiet, but extremely energetic when it came to things he was interested in, which included the ocean and deep sea creatures. He was 12.
Charlie was very loud, though he had a lot of anxiety and was very self-conscious. He was 10.
Elliot was very sweet, and wanted to be called Ellie, and I agreed that I would call them that. Ellie enjoyed lots of cute fashion, and asked if I could show them more of my outfits, to which I readily agreed. They were 9.
Quinn was a very shy little girl, but was very attuned to the needs of others. She was very caring and kind.
Preston reminded me of Mello quite a bit. He was rambunctious and competitive. He was 7.
Taylor was very disinterested, and she did not tell me much about herself, she was too engrossed in her thoughts. She was 8.
Benjamin, or Ben for short, was a car guy. He was very interested in engineering and cars. He was 11.
Leah was very small and petite. She wore lots of frilly dresses and lace, and baking was a favorite hobby of hers. L would like her. She was the only one of the 8 kids who even questioned the way I dress.
"Why do you dress funny mister?"
"Because these are the clothes I like to wear, like how you like wearing dresses!"
"Oh, okay mister!"
She was 9.
That was all for my moving day. I collapsed onto the bad that night, totally exhausted, but I was excited for the newest chapter of my journey with Lawliet.
(Anyway the rest of this series is prob gonna be a whole lot of domestic fluff bc its fun and maybe a little bit of healing traumatized children so yay but I am really excited to introduce some new characters lol)
