~L's POV~

As soon as Y/N and I returned home, I explained my plan to him.

"We're going to move back to Great Britain. (Is that what it's called???? Should I just call it the UK?? idk im too american for this even tho im pretty good at social studies o-0) We will take care of the children at Wammy's House as our new main career, but we can still do out usual detective work on the side."

"Hm, sounds good to me," Yume hummed, "I guess I should get packing?"

I nodded, "I will begin packing as well."

~Your POV~

I knew that Lawliet was going through it, with Watari's death and the sudden need to move across the world. Even if he didn't realize it. Moving wasn't the hard part, that much I knew. It was the cause of the moving that was bothersome.

I thought about all this as I dug my suitcase out of the back of the closet. I sort of hoped that I wouldn't have to use it again, though I knew that hope was a bit half-hearted.

I took all my clothes out of the closet and my dresser -which was a lot- and began to fold them as small as I could, in hopes that I might be able to fit all of the nicer ones in there. All the old ones or ones that didn't fit anymore could go to some donation store, like a local thrift store or something. Some edgy teen out there would surely appreciate my style. (Its me im the edgy teen D:)

So, I sorted them out into clothes I wanted to take with me and clothes I would donate. Even after that whole ordeal, I was still left with a stack of clothes that was up to my waist. I sighed heavily, then began to see how much I could fit into the suitcase.

Surprisingly, I fit all of them, though with no room to spare. Just as I was zipping up the suitcase, Lawliet walked into the room.

"Are you having difficulty, Yume?" He asked, and I laughed.

"Ummm... maybe a little? I won't be able to fit much more than the essentials in this suitcase."

"That's alright, I'll have plenty of room in mine. You know I don't have a whole lot of clothes like you do."

I nodded, "How are you feeling about all this?"

"Fine, I suppose. I'm still in shock, I guess. I did get all my things packed, though, and I'm a little glad to be going back to my childhood home."

"Well, that's good to hear." I gave him a kiss on the cheek and continued to struggle with my suitcase, like trying to get a toddler out of the candy jar.

His cheeks flushed pink, and then he smiled while looking down at me, who was nearly tackling the damned suitcase.

"Finally got the thing shut!" I laid back onto the suitcase and wiped the sweat from my brow, "I'm definitely going to have to borrow some room in your suitcase to get the rest of my stuff, if that's alright."

"That's just fine." He smiled again and I smiled back, though weary as ever.

Now, I was mostly ready for a big change in my life.
