17- The evil double

Basically someone runs around in a spiderman suit doing bad stuff and the avengers hear abt it, so they go after him but also after the real spiderman without knowing he's the real and good one. Avengers dunno who SM is.

3rd person pov

A figure clad in a familiar red and blue suit swung into an alleyway. As the vigilante known as spiderman sneaked up to the 3 women in the alleyway, they noticed him and started to wave at their friendly neighbourhood spiderman. 

Spiderman gave a small wave back, grumbling quietly because the women had noticed him. As he approached the females, they began giggling drunkily. One reached her hand out towards spiderman, only for it to be cut of. The woman was silent for a moment but began screaming when she noticed her own hand laying on the floor. She looked up in horror, and the last thing she saw was spiderman's eyes turning dark.

A little while later, spiderman smiled to himself as he heard the screams of the man who found the three bodies.

Peter stumbled downstairs to be greeted by May as he sat down on the couch to watch tv. "Morning sleepy head." May flopped down next to him and messed up his already messy hair. "Morning." Peter responded sleepily as he forced back a yawn. "You hear about the three murders happened last night? Three women found dead, one missing her hand. If you see something like that happening, you run, got it?" Peter nodded, deep in thought.

Three murders? Just on the night he stopped patrolling early? Suspicious, but it could have been a coincidence. He should go catch this guy this evening, Peter decided. May placed some pancakes infront of him and told him she was of to work. Peter decided, because he had a free day, he would just go patrolling.

After he had climbed out of the apartment, he sat down on a roof waiting for some action. Peter frowned as he felt a slight shiver run down his neck. He stood up, and then he heard Ironman's thrusters becoming louder and closer to him. The avenger landed on the roof, dropping Steve Rogers who had been carried by Stark.

Peter felt himself get excited, but his spidey sense stopped him from doing so. The avengers were here for business. "Spiderman. You know, I expected better from you. I actually earned some respect for you. Anyway, we need you to come with us, I think you know why." Spiderman's mechincal eyes narrowed in confusion and suspicion.

"What are you talking about?" Stark and Rogers shared a look before the captain sighed. "We know you killed those three women, spiderman. We need you to come with us." Peter's eyes now widened. Killed those women? Why would they think he did that?

"I- Sorry- What are you talking about!? Killed those women?" Peter stuttered, in shock that they actually thought he did that. Without saying anything, Stark pulled up a hologram of a bloodied spiderman leaving an alleyway before shooting a web at the security camera. "Same alley those women were murdered. What'd u got to say for yourself?" The billionaire asked in an arrogant tone, already thinking he won.

Peter frowned. He knew for sure that that wasn't him, he's got a double. But how did they make his suit exactly the same as his? "That wasn't me, I know this looks suspicious, but I swear, that wasn't me. Spiderman doesn't kill!" He could tell from the hero's faces they didn't believe him, and suddenly Peter got scared. 

These were 2 avengers, thinking he killed 3 ladies, and they wanted to bring him in. He would have to fight his way out, but could he?

"Come with us." Rogers said, and Peter slightly shaked his head, still thinking. Tony rolled his eyes and dropped his faceplate. "Alrighty then." Peter's senses went haywire and he rolled to the side. The beam Ironman shot at him missed him by a hair and Peter looked up with wide eyes. "What the heck, dude!" He yelled out and ducked as a vibranium shield flew over his head. "What the heck!" Spiderman yelled again. He threw himself of the building, shooting a web and swinging as fast as he can.
