Bio dad Tony

-

Peter didn't remember the floor changing color. Or the floor being anything other than a familiar brown wood at all, actually. It looked like Morgan had thrown that disgusting unicorn slime she had gotten for her birthday all over it. God, that had been the first birthday party of Morgan's Peter had ever attended and it had sucked so bad. Worse than coming back after being dusted only to find out his dad had replaced him without a second thought. Wait, scratch that. His dad replacing him with Morgan and moving on so easily from his 'death' was definitely the most sucky of the suckiest thing that ever happened to Peter. Not that his dad knew that Peter knew the man had replaced him. No, his dad probably thought that everything was well; that Peter really believed he was wanted, that he actually felt like he belonged in the little domestic family that Tony, Pepper and Morgan had formed. His father really thought him an idiot.

Speaking of his dad, Peter was pretty sure the man was talking to him. Or to Morgan, seeing as Peter couldn't hear yelling yet. His dad always did that when Peter got in trouble: speaking gently to Morgan and telling her that she had to leave because he and her 'brother' Peter were going to have a grownup talk. Tsk, you couldn't even call it a talk. His dad just yelled at him, not letting Peter get a word in, and would then excuse Peter to his room after telling him he was disappointed in him. And that for things like coming home 20 minutes late one time. One time!

Peter realized that, if his dad already yelled at him so angrily for coming home just 20 minutes late, he would probably get kicked out for coming home two hours late and high on LSD. Whoops.

The floor was still swirling, nauseatingly bright colors dancing across the wooden planks and faint shimmers making them even more sickening. He was surprised he could even get high with his freaky metabolism. Hey. He was pretty hungry, speaking of his metabolism. He moved to head to the kitchen, which was close to the entrance of the small, 'homey' cabin where he stood now. 'Homey' his ass. He had gotten back from the blip only to be moved into an unknown environment completely without getting any say in it, his dad claiming it was for his own protection and health whilst Peter knew his dad couldn't care less about his well-being. If the man did, he wouldn't act like Peter was just dirt under his shoe. Peter felt like dirt, honestly. His dad and Pepper had been perfectly happy with their perfect little angel Morgan before Peter came into their lives again and ruined everything.

He couldn't seem to do anything right. He had tried to smile whilst being dropped off at his new school, which he absolutely hadn't wanted to go to, but apparently it just hadn't been bright enough, because his dad had frowned at him and Peter had later come home to a lecture about something along the lines of 'gratefulness' and 'teenager angst', which was apparently above him because he was a Stark or something. Oh yeah, he was just expected to be perfectly fine about his life changing completely, about a whole new family, about his dad not even fucking loving him anymore.

Yeah, the cabin was just homey.

Before he could reach the kitchen, he felt a hand grab his shoulder roughly and turn him around. His dad looked furious, eyes blazing and the hand that wasn't gripping Peter's shoulder turning white with how hard he was clenching it into his fist. Peter briefly wondered if his dad would hit him. Would it be that much of a surprise? The man quite obviously didn't care for him anymore (not like before. Not like then. Not like how he had tucked him in every night, pressing kisses into his hair gently. He didn't come by these nights anymore. He was always reading Morgan stories. He had just moved on). Why was the man even mad that Peter had taken a little bit of drugs? Was it because he was a bad influence on Morgan? Or because he was ruining the perfect Stark image? Hell, who could even blame him for taking a little LSD and a little weed!? He fucking deserved to feel happy sometimes, didn't he?
