Y'all should probs reread the first part of this (chapter 40) bc I posted that months ago lol

---

After finally getting his grilled cheese, (Peter could have sworn that Tony had stayed in the kitchen long just to annoy him) Peter headed some floors down to the gym. He was frustrated by his kidnapping (no, he wasn't exaggerating! Mr. Stark had kidnapped him!) and he was overall very bored. He'd already made up hundreds of new ideas for his Spiderman suit and he had basically out-scrolled social media.

So, down to the gym he went. He knew it'd probably be smarter to pummel a punching bag than trashing mr. Stark's kitchen. He wrapped his hands, even though he thought he didn't really need it. He didn't want to anger mr. Stark by punching his knuckles raw, though (they didn't even stay red for more than an hour).

He didn't make the mistake of accidentally attacking a gray bag instead of a red one like he had done on his first day. The gray ones were.. not really suited for enhanced people. He'd knocked it straight off the ceiling the first time he'd come to the gym. The red ones were heavier and were more securely installed; Tony had created them after Captain America had made the same mistake as Peter. So yeah, the red ones were specifically made for people like him. They were the sturdiest punching bags on earth.

When Peter went to his room for a shower 30 minutes later, the red punching bag was on the ground.

---

Two days later, and Peter had only seen mr. Stark once. He had spent the days doing everything and nothing. Exploring the tower, going to the gym, texting, and hell, he'd even picked up a Harry Potter book. (He'd also put it away quickly. Fantasy books weren't really his thing, he'd  rather stick to his textbooks.)

Anyway, he'd run into mr. Stark once, which was already one time too many in his opinion. It had happened when he'd been grabbing breakfast. He had waited an hour (an hour!) for Friday to alert him that mr. Stark was gone from the kitchen. His stomach had been growling, his mood had already soured even more so than usual and he'd been cursing mr. Stark's stubbornness as he'd hurried to make himself some food. He'd been sure mr. Stark had done it on purpose. Peter didn't know why though. Every time he'd spoken to mr. Stark he'd been a brat (because mr. Stark deserved it, obviously), so he didn't understand why mr. Stark wanted to be in his presence so badly. If Peter were mr. Stark, he'd have done anything to avoid Peter's teenage mood.

So, he had gone to the kitchen, but when he'd been buttering his toast, mr. Stark had suddenly appeared in the kitchen. He didn't seem surprised to see Peter at all, so Peter knew that the billionaire had done it on purpose. Peter still couldn't wrap his head around why.

He'd greeted him and maybe made a joke, but Peter had been so annoyed at mr. Stark's sly tactics that he hadn't even heard it. He'd shot the man what he hoped was a cold glare and went back to his breakfast. He'd heard Tony say something else, but his eye had started twitching and all his feelings about how unfair mr. Stark was and how Peter just wanted to go home came bubbling back to the surface.

"-hiding in your room all day, huh?" he'd still heard Tony say, and his knuckles turned white around the plate he was holding, his posture tensing up. The sudden urge to just break something overwhelmed him, and he felt stricken by the feeling. He'd wanted to punch something a few days ago, sure, but now he just had this overwhelming urge to just hurl the plate across the room to get Tony to just shut up and go away.

Without saying a word, he'd left with the plate still clutched in his hands. His toast wasn't really done yet, and he left the kitchen without cleaning up, but he didn't care. He felt so uncontrollably annoyed at everything. How dared mr. Stark lock him up like he was some sort of Rapunzel and then continue to act like everything was normal? How dared Tony stop him from saving people? To make him sit on his ass in a big fancy tower while knowing people were getting hurt out there? Like he was some sort of lazy, stupid Avenger?

He didn't come out of his room until the morning after that.

---

May came by a few days later, but eventually she gave up trying to talk to Peter and basically spent the whole day talking with Tony (probably about Peter). When she left, Peter had begrudgingly given her a hug, because after all she was still his aunt and he couldn't handle her sad pout.

He'd fully ignored mr. Stark.

---

His break was over. Finally. He could finally go back home, he could finally go back to saving people, he could finally go back to normal with..

Peter frowned. Could he go back to normal with mr. Stark? He was still mad about the whole situation and the unfairness of it all, and who's to say Tony would even want him back at the tower after his behavior these past weeks?

He decided to just stay away for a while.

It didn't last long. A sleek black car was waiting for him only four days later, Tony Stark sitting behind the wheel. Peter got in, because he knew Tony would just follow him like a creepy stalker if he didn't.

"Hey, kid." Tony greeted as Peter threw his backpack onto the car floor. He was in the backseat, not having wanted to sit next to mr. Stark.

"What are you doing?" He asked, forgoing a greeting. Tony let out a huff as he began driving. "C'mon, Pete. I know you're not happy with my, and May's, decisions, but you have to understand at least a little bit why we did it, right?"

Peter stayed silent, glaring at the buildings flying by outside of the window.

"Kid, you can save people while not getting yourself hurt. And you have to remember that you deserve to be save  just as much as civilians. I'm sorry you had to stay at the tower, and I let you sulk, but I think you can be more mature than this, kid."

Peter mulled over the words for a bit. He supposed mr. Stark was right. He just didn't like it. And he didn't like his methods. But he also didn't want to lose mr. Stark, and, yeah, he was also tired of always getting hurt, he supposed.

He still thought it was unfair, though. But he also thought he was done giving mr. Stark (and May) the teenager treatment.

"Okay."

"Okay?"

"I'll be more careful."

Mr. Stark smiled at him. Peter smiled back.

Y'all. It's been so long. And not just since I posted part 1 of this story, but since posting in general.

This isn't very good, and I can already tell you that I'm not going to be posting a lot after this either. I'm deep into another fandom rn and am currently (attempting) to write a fic for that fandom and also absolutely binge reading every fic that fandom has (which is A LOT)

Guess which fandom it is.
Hint: it's literally made out of fanfiction.

AND Y'ALL I GOT TICKETS TO BILLIE EILISH!!! I LOVE HER SM HER NEW ALBUM IS SO GOOD RAAAAHHHHHHH

Anyway, thanks for reading and have a good day <3
