Nandini's povThe sun was shining bright like every single day but it was different today, isn't of giving warmth it was soothing on the cold whether. Seeing the sun gave me hope every single day to forget my life, my past, maybe even to end it. I feel like everyday is a new day well that's what everyone says right but for me everyday is torture
It's like being locked in this space where everyone around you doesn't even try helping or as a matter of fact they think you are happy where you are but the reality is far from it.
I agree that everyone has a past but I can guarantee mine isn't even a past its a nightmare that I am in, I am stuck in it and I cannot escape. There is no escape route, there never was and there never will be.
It is just the matter of time until he finds me again or I should say they right they find me again but until then it's another school and another location.
With my head swirling with thoughts I got up and showered slowly, putting on black jeans and a black full sleeve t shirt with a cardigan on top. Weird combination right well it is what it is I guess.
I started walking to classes after locking my dorm room, I swear if it wasn't for this scholarship I wouldn't be here but if there is one thing I am happy about, it is getting an admission in this school. I also knew there was cafe a few minutes away from college that were hiring since they advertised that at college
I had 30 minutes before my class so I walked to the cafe and found this really pretty lady working in the cafe. I walked to her once the line cleared up
"Hi what can I get you" she asked
"Hi, umm I heard you were hiring I was wondering about the qualifications"
"Oh sweetie you don't need qualification haha, do you smoke?" She asked
"No"
"Drink"
"No"
"Are you gonna be late"
"Never"
"Do you have some phsyco lover who would come in and break my chairs" she asked chuckling making me chuckle too
"No absolutely not" she smiled hearing this
"I had to ask about drinking and smoking cause girl a lot of people get int shit and then show up drunk now honey I am 43 and ya ya I don't look the age but damn I can't keep kids on a leash right"
"Right" I replied
"Well the job is yours, im hiring for a lot of people but since you are the sweetest and most honest one, you got it"
"Really" I asked and she nodded
"What's your name" she asked
"Nandini"
"Well nandini, my child come in starting next week okay"
"Why not this week" I asked and she smiled
"You need to adjust to the school environment and you seem new so thats why" I nodded
"Aunty thank you" I mummbled and she touched my head
"You are very sweet nandini, I have never met anyone like you" she said making me confuse
"Confused" she asked and I nodded
"My daughter is your age and you remind me of her, you have pureness and this innocence in your eyes. Well don't let me blabber your ear off, go on, see you next week, Monday sharp at 4 om" she said and I nodded
