Taehyung

Perhaps I just dug a hole for myself. It was clear that both Y/N and I had different things in mind. I was the only one thinking like a sinner.

I gulped down the heavy lump in my throat before casually shifting my weight to the floor. I began to work on the laces of my boots, pulling them off carefully. Once my left foot was free from its suffocating spot I glimpsed back at Y/N.

Her back was facing me but my eyes were in time, watching her pull the beige shirt over her head. Her back muscles tensed up and the scars displayed in front of my eyes made me clench my jaw. They soon got cast away as her long locks fell back into place covering them. She lowered her hands working on the belt around her waist. I felt my face heat up not due to the steam erupting from the tub.

In a hurry, I tossed away my other shoe and stripped myself completely almost plopping myself into the tub before she could see.

Calm down Taehyung

I wasn't sure if I was chanting this to my head, my heart, or the thing between my legs. I made sure to have my neck twisted all the way in the opposite direction. Y/N her steps made the wood beneath us creak, it made my heart leap to the point I started to hold my breath.

The corner of my eyes caught her figure vaguely stepping into the tub. The sound of water splashing around warmed my ears. Then finally silence came. I turned, finally facing ahead of me. My legs were pulled against me, I wouldn't know how I would react if our skin would touch. So it was for the best to keep distance.

It was uncomfortable, and cramped with the two of us here, yet it didn't seem to bother her at all. She seemed at peace as she sat between my legs, her back facing me. The shape of her body allured me and my mind turned into a haze.

I wonder how her skin would feel, her ragged breath against mine, the sounds she would make, and what her face would look like.

''The book.'' Like a slap into reality, I was thrown away from those thoughts. I glanced back at my desk looking at the book she was referring to.

''Oh, The Last Promise,'' I confirmed stating its title.

''It's my favorite, I have it with me all the time and finished it more than I can count.'' It was also my mother her favorite.

I was startled for a moment watching Y/N her back close in on me, but it quickly stopped.

''Did the dragon and the princess fulfill their promise?'' It made me wonder how far she has read it.

The story tells about a young princess, stubborn, lacks compassion and love, and is self-centered she had many distasteful traits, but one thing I could relate to was that her character felt like a bird trapped in a cage. The reason for much of her hateful behavior.

On her 17th name day, she fled from the castle. Wanting to drown herself in the sacred lake, she met a dragon. The dragon made her curious, not only about his kind and the many forms he could take but also about life outside the castle walls.

From that day on, she slipped away from the castle every night to meet him. He told her stories about his adventures and the world and it filled her with curiosity. On her 20th name day, the princess was to be engaged. Her betrothed was a male she had never met, only heard tales off. On that night when she met the dragon once more, she begged him to take her away. So he did, for the dragon had deep feelings of love towards the princess.

He took her away from her palace, the castle wall, her silk dresses, and her maids. Instead, the both of them traveled the world and the princess was the happiest she had ever been, but uproar developed due to the princess her absence.
