''C-Can you run?'' I pulled myself off the bed only to fall down on my knees seconds after. Jungkook his request and the anger in his eyes were able to make me tremble, but I could tell that he himself wasn't in a state to fight.
He is still bleeding...
''Calm down, I'm not the enemy here.'' Once again Zurin his low voice was speaking close to me. A harsh grip came on my arms as he pulled me back up. All I could think about was Jungkook right now and seeing his jaw clenched in anger.
''Don't touch her.'' There was restrainment in his voice as he limped forward. He was only standing on one leg, the other was dragging across the room. While Zurin used his body to support me I watched Jungkook support himself weakly against the brick wall.
''Jungkook, It's okay.....he wants to help us.'' I wondered just when did he regain consciousness. I was too weak to focus on what was going on but before I know it, I was placed back on the bed.
''It seems more people have arrived.'' Zurin his eyes shifted to the window, but all I could hear was the sound of metal clinging from outside. It seems the fight was still going on, but it gradually started to ease down.
''As I said, I'll let you guys go but the rest isn't up to me. I'm taking my stuff and leaving this place.''
''You're straight up leaving because you guys are losing.'' It was really a thing for Jungkook to pick a fight with people even when he isn't in a state he can take it.
''Correct.'' Zurin on the other hand didn't seem to mind. He stayed in a rather good mood.
Can we really let him leave? After all, he has a part in all of this too. Hurting these people....killing them.
Jungkook leaned backward slamming his back against the door. His blood stains colored it red as he tried to stand proud on both of his feet. Blocking Zurin his way out.
''I'm not letting you.'''
That's when the aura around Zurin changed. An ominous dark feeling filled the room, any hint of warmth left disappeared exchanged with icy air. He let out a small laugh. This feeling is something I encountered before....when battling Infernals. What made them scary was the fact that they are aware of the difference between them and us. The way they excel in strength in speed, the way they don't feel any remorse. They kill when they want, who they want. Nothing else matters.
''You can either let me pass, or I'll kill you right here.'' The truth is we don't have the upper hand no matter how you look at it. He can easily kill us both and be on his way. He is actually doing us a favor.
''Try and kill me the-''
''Wait!!'' Once again I ripped myself off the bed, this time I succeeded in standing on my legs. They trembled but I gritted my teeth overcoming the pain. If I push through this pain I'm feeling right now, it will be numb to me any minute soon.
''We won't hold you up, but do us one favor.'' I carefully limped my way to them both. The more seconds passed the more color Jungkook his face was losing. He needs to get treated.
''You're not in a position to ask me for favors.''
''Am I not? It's just like you said. Your chieftain is dead along with that Infernal. We have more men it's only a matter of seconds before this battle is over. You can kill us now and leave, but once you exit this room, our men will kill you.'' It was all a bluff, who knows the chieftain and that Infernal might be alive and we failed.
''You humans have nothing agai-''
''Who says our men are humans?'' It was the first time that the grin on his face washed away.
