Taehyung

I knocked and waited for her to grant entry before opening the door. Golden streaks of light blinded me momentarily and her figure appeared as a silhouette.

''Tae...'' She couldn't finish speaking my name when we locked eyes. She stood by the widow a powdery blue dress hugging her body. Her eyes ran big when I closed the door and greeted her with a smile. It seemed my greeting confirmed that she wasn't daydreaming right now.

''What are you doing here?''

''I came to visit.'' She lifted her layered skirt to make haste when she approached me.

''Does the lord know?'' I nodded my eyes amused by the matching blue bow in her hair. I never once told her how lovely she looked to me in the many dresses the lord provided her.

''He greeted me at the door before guiding me here,'' I explained but the unwavering of her eyes didn't stop.

''You shouldn't have come. You must leave at once.'' She grabbed me by my arm pulling me toward the door. I wanted to resist and the smile that crept on my face felt painful.

It seems I am the only one who misses being together.

But I didn't feel like I was in a position to argue with her. I simply didn't want to argue with her about my feelings. Her back was turned to me and I took in her appearance one last time before being kicked out. What else did I expect? However, her hand that was resting on the golden doorknob slid away from it.

''Or perhaps there won't be any harm if you stay a bit.'' I fell silent, stunned even. Debating weather my ears were playing a trick on me. She turned to me a little bit of concern showing on her face.

''However, I heard the Lord is having visitors later this day. You should be gone before then, we don't know who they are it might endanger your identity.''

''Don't worry about me. I'll make sure to leave before then. I just wanted to see your face for a bit.'' Without thinking my hand reached for her face, stroking her cheek. She smiled so adorably and in those moments of silence, I felt my face heat up.

''So....is this his art room?'' The first thing I noticed when I entered was the smell of paint and charcoal. The various types of paintings laying around and a table full off sketches with brushes.

She nodded while guiding me to the left wing of the room. I was introduced to a side of the room that was filled with sculptures. Unfinished ones from what I saw. But it was marvelous. As a young boy that grew up loving art, it was clear to see that Lord Rodrick is a true master at it.

But there was one work of his that caught my eyes in a split second. The back of a woman wearing a dress. I approached it slowly as if she was a living being. It didn't even take me seconds to recognize the figure. The shape of her waist, her hands that were sculpted so beautifully to even the shape of her fingernails. They were holding onto her skirt as it was flowing around her. He made it seem like she was truly touching silk. When I circled around it I came to meet the face. There was none. Just the shape of her head and her beautiful framing locks of hair.

''He only needs to add some details,'' Y/N spoke from beside me. Even the height was perfect to even the slightest inch. My finger lightly brushed along the part where her lips would be. His work is remarkable.

''You seem more amazed by a sculpted version of me.'' Her comment amused me. I was taking it as a sense of jealousy.

''I'm just astonished by Lord Rodrick his talent,'' I explained. I stared at it a little longer before turning to meet her eyes. The conversation with the lord kept my thoughts occupied.
