''You go with the villagers now, there is a cave up ahead make sure to take shelter there.'' She hesitated her hands once more gripping themselves onto me. Her eyes flickered but I wasn't able to figure out what she felt. It reminded me of our time back in Ozryn. A fellow prisoner tried to get his hands on her when she ran up to me and swung herself at me. These were the eyes she showed me.

It's fear?

''Where are you going?'' What is this uneasy feeling in my chest? It almost hurts. Commotion wrecked around us upon Yoongi his sudden orders, but it felt like everything went mute around me. All I could see and hear was Sheria. My hand reached for her small face brushing my cold fingers against her soft cheek.

''I need to make sure no one followed you.'' While Yoongi and his men take care of the villagers, I'll quickly skim around the area getting rid of any unwanted figures.

Her grip on me tightened and as I continued taking in her appearance I noticed her skirt being torn. It must have been the obstacles in the woods that allowed her attire to be ruptured.

''I....don't want you to leave me. It makes me feel uneasy...That's why I came.'' A part of me was agitated about her disobedience and departing the ship on her own accord. Yet there was a part of me that felt relieved, having her with me makes it easier for me to protect her. The moment we left I couldn't help but feel troubled.

She hasn't changed a bit, she is still as impeccable as I remember.

''Where did you live before you came here?''

Noisy child...

''Nowhere, I was captured the moment I woke up.'' My eyes followed the cockroach that silently trickled itself on our ceiling. The taste of blood still lingered in my mouth, but the damage done to my body remained numb.

Just why do I keep protecting this child? It was a question that kept me up at night.

''So...you don't have any friends?''

''No.''

''And you haven't actually seen the outside world?''

''No.'' An unfamiliar feeling started to rise within me. The same feeling I get when I meet the eyes of a guard, or when the prisoners here start to make cocky remarks. It turns me into a foul mood.

''What about like your favorite food, or favorite season?'' The only thing I could do is sigh instead of answer her. She is talkative, the type I despise the most. This isn't the first time, I have shared this cell with her for over months. Normally I would have killed her already but for reason...I didn't. Her questions always know how to rile up my muscles but eventually....that desire to wreck just dies down.

''None....child.'' Finally she stopped talking. I could sense her body moving, her feet colliding with the stone-cold floor. Seconds later she laid herself beside me, shoulders brushed against one another while she looked at the ceiling as well.

''Then when we escape from here. I'll take you to my home town. It's far from here but we will get to see a lot of things when we travel. I'll show you a lot of beautiful places and make you delicious food. When it's summer we can go fishing and make dinner with that. I'm excellent at fishing so I'll teach you, and when it's winter we can have a snow fight. Do you know what snow is?''

I remained silent, just focusing on the excitement she held as she talked.

''It's like these beautiful white-shaped flakes. They are cold but soft and fall from the sky. During the winter it covers everything with its color. The grass and trees, and it all looks so beautiful.''
