I had to stay calm, it was just as Yoongi suspected. It was Y/N we had to worry about...right now we could put an end to this battle, but who knew we had to deal with one of our own first.

''Take the mage and leave.'' The hairs on my back fluttered for a moment, feeling Yoongi's breath hit my neck. I nodded holding my sword firmly while scanning the scene. The male Infernal and Y/N were chipping away at one another, but the thing that worried me the most was the fact that.....it seemed like she was totally overpowering him.

''I'll take care of Y/N.''

''There is an elderly woman, downstairs in the basement. She was held prisoner with me, free her.''

''Your grace...'' Taehyung his sudden appearance left me stunned. He is the last person who should be here right now.

''I told you to wait outsid-''

''Go!'' The order was given to Yoongi. Neither of us didn't know what kind of plan Taehyung had in his mind, but sending Yoongi away and leaving him here. It meant he wasn't going to sit still. No matter how hard we disagree with his decision, right now...looking at those dark orbs of his. No one could defy him.

And so Yoongi left, like a fierce gust of wind he disappeared.

''I'll take the mage.'' Before I could take action myself Taehyung already sped up dashing his way to the stunned woman. She was lost in thought, panicking while looking for a way to flee from the scene.

I wanted to follow, my side has always been beside his. It's my duty to protect him, to pull him back from any harm. Yet the moment my feet moved, they came to a hold seconds after. I didn't know why. It was like my body moved before my brain could even think, but it saved me.

Saved me from getting the male Infernal his body slammed against mine. Instead, I avoided him, watching his body crash into one of the pillars in horror. He didn't get up, nor did he let out a light moan of pain. It made me wonder if he was still alive, the red liquid covering his limbs made me think of the worst.

I didn't have time to go to his aid, cause when I looked over my shoulder. Y/N was already on her way toward Taehyung and the mage.

''Unfortunately, you have to deal with me right now.'' I held my ground, making myself heavy to balance my stand. My sword was up but trembling while her hand was wrapped around it, blocking my attack. The iron steel was definitely digging into her flesh yet her face didn't expose a glimpse of pain. Her eyes were black as if she was possessed and with each passing second her breath thickened.

''Y/N, stop this please.'' How stupid was I to think any of this would help? To think that when I first met her, I wanted to swing my sword at her. I wanted her gone and dead, she is an Infernal....treacherous, and a danger to Taehyung. Then she became our ally, she convinced me that Infernals aren't all that bad. Teya plays a huge role in this too, to think...I would ever come to love one is something I didn't even dream about.

Tell me Y/N...I believed in you. Why did you have to shatter it?

Perhaps I just hit her jaw hard enough, it will be enough to knock her out.

But during that thought, my feet already got pulled off the ground. It went fast and for a moment I wasn't able to breathe. Her free hand went past my sword grabbing me by the collar. Swinging me through the air she tried to throw me across the room as she did with the other male, but instead, I held onto the arm that fiercely held onto me. Pulling on her arm closed the distance and the swing that came wasn't enough to shake me off.

Sword.

Until I let go, forcing my steps back in a swift motion. She drew her sword once she noticed she wasn't able to shake me off. Until now she didn't pull it even once. I held her gaze watching her movements.
