Chapter 7 - let go

I looked at my phone staring at her message, i froze, i didn't know how to respond. When camp ended and we left things badly I didn't expect to ever hear from her again, i was fully prepared that she would be out of my life forever.

Guro looked over at me concerned "hey everything ok? You don't look as happy to see me." She said with a hint of sarcasm, but I wasn't in the mood for sarcasm. I walked into the living room leaving my bags by the door, i looked at Guro who was extremely confused as to why I was acting like I was. "A lot has happened, i wish I could explain." I said as she sat because me concerned "you can tell me anything Ella, I'm here for you." She said softly while grabbing my hand.

I told her all about what happened at camp, and with Leah. "So she just left with nothing but a note? That's a real bitchy move!" She exclaimed and I just widened my eyes at how angry she was.

"It wasn't all her fault, it was mine, I'm the one who left the room mid argument when we should of tried to fix things I'm the one that dragged her into my bull shit and I'm the one who started the argument." I said taking full blame for everything.

"You can't seriously tell me you are taking all of the blame? She is the one that left all angry only leaving you with a note she is the one that started the argument not you she is the one that promised to help you with your problems. She said she would be there for you but let you down." Guro said getting worked up that I had tried to take the blame but she was having none of it.

I went to my room and unpacked my bag and got into some tracksuit. I went back into the living room where Guro was watching telly, "I'm going out," i said walking towards the door "where you going?" Guro asked confused as it was getting late "i don't know, all I know is I want to get out." I said while grabbing my keys "wait, I'm coming" Guro said while hopping over to the door trying to get her shoes on.

I got in my car and Guro got in the passenger side, "ok so do you have any idea where we are going to go?" She asked "yes, I'm going to Brixton." I said while turning the car and taking it out of park. "Why Brixton?" She asked while looking at me, she was obviously confused why i had chosen Brixton over all places. "I grew up there, i feel like going back to somewhere familiar," i said as we drove down the road on our way to Brixton

I lied I was t actually going to Brixton, but Guro didn't need to know that. I was actually going to north London, i knew it was stupid as it was the complete other side of London but I needed to see her and talk to her. Truth be told i wished her, a lot.

I turned a corner and Guro looked at me confused "why are you going this was Brixton is that way," she said pointing in the other direction "this was is another way of getting there" i said and she believed me and we continued down the road. Did I feel bad for lying to her? Yes, but did I want her to try and stop me going to see Leah? No.

Eventually we got there and it was around midnight. I left Guro in the car as she had fallen asleep and sent her a text for when she wakes up.

I walked to her local coffee shop that she told me she loved, she also told me that she would usually go there to clear her head. As I got there I realised how dumb I was because it was midnight so why would a coffee shop be open?

I was just about to walk back to my car when I heard a familiar voice "who you looking for?" I heard and i turned around and saw Beth "Leah," i said quietly and she barely heard me. She looked at me and laughed "that's funny," she said and I was getting so confused "why is it funny?" I asked and she looked at me "because she just went to look for you," she said and I was really confused "she drove all the way to the other side of London to look for me? Who would be so stupid?" I said and Beth laughed and I looked at her before realising i had done the exact same thing.

Me and Beth chatted and joked outside of the coffee shop before she looked at me and asked "can i pass on a message? Considering you came all this way just to talk to her it must be important," i looked at her and wanted to tell her everything, but I knew i couldn't "no it's fine I will just speak to her when I see her next." I said.

Once me and Beth finished talking I headed back to my car where Guro was still sleeping, i swear to got this girl could sleep anywhere I thought to myself as I turned the car on and drove home.

Once I got back I woke Guro up which I knew i would have to suffer the consequences of as she hates being woken up. I nudged her and she opened her eyes and then she just got up and went into our apartment. I knew she was angry, but she was too tired to show it so she just went to bed.

Once I got in the house I also went up to bed but just as I walked in the door I saw a note with my name on it

Hey look I know I'm an idiot and I never should of just left you with nothing but a note. I was stupid and selfish, I pushed you away when I should have been pulling you closer. You needed me and I want there, I'm sorry and I really need you because without you my life is dull and boring, you light up my days. I was stupid for running off when you needed me most. I hope you can forgive me

I was shocked at how she admitted to everything. I decided to go to sleep and see how I feel in the morning as I was very tired and didn't want to do something I would regret.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of the doorbell, I got out of bed as it kept on ringing. Once, twice, three times. I was just about to go to the door before I shouted "I'm not deaf I know you are there, just give me a chance to get to the door!"

I opened the door to see Millie, I was confused and shocked that she was there but she just looked at me smiling "I have news!" She shouted "bloody hell Millie no need to shout, I'm literally standing right next to you," I said covering my ears "what's the news anyway?" I asked and she looked at me and pushed past me into my house. She walked through to the living room and made herself at home.

After about two mutineers she finally spoke up "I managed to find out the source of the video, and got them to take it down!" She said and I was immediately happy until her face dropped "but this but you aren't going to like," she said which made me worried "why what happened?" I asked confused as to what could possibly be wrong. "The person who posted the video is well someone you know," she said awkwardly and I was shocked "who?" I asked and she just looked at me "go on spit it out," I finally said getting angry "it was well Leah" she said and I was left once again in shock.

After I sat there in shock for about five minutes millie looked over at me "are you ok?" She asked. What did she expect "I think I need to let go of this fantasy fairy tail I have been hanging on to," I replied with tears in my eyes.

Sorry I havent updated in a while I have been really busy with school work but I will try and get out some more chapters to make up for some lost time.
