Chapter 8 - explain yourself

I was still sat on the sofa looking at the floor numb and in shock I looked up at Millie who just had worry and sorrow in her eyes. No one spoke, no one moved we just sat there in silence.

After what felt like ages of silence the door opened, I heard loud footsteps walking through the house and turned to see Guro walking into the living room, "hey why is it so quiet in here? Millie's here I thought everything would be loud," she said and normally I would of laughed but I didn't I just sat there still numb

"Anyone going to tell me what is happening?" She questioned. I got up and tried to explain what was happening but I just burst into tears. She hugged me and I fell to the floor as my legs gave out. She held tightly onto me and rubbed my back to try and calm me, it was no use I was broken.

Once I had finally calmed down I looked up at her and she looked so sorry and hurt to see my crying and this upset. I also looked over to Millie and she was sat there with the same expression

"Want to tell her or should I?" Millie asked and I looked at her and just said barely over a whisper, "you."

After Millie had told Guro all of what happened she just hugged me tighter and held me close. "She dosent deserve you! You are far better than anyone else she will ever find and tou know it. Look if she can't see that and does stupid things like that then she isn't the one," she said and I felt thankful for her but I couldn't let go of what I felt for her, she cared for me and cherished me with all of her heart, well at least that's what I thought.

I went to my room and just lay in my bed, I had training later so I had time to just be sad. Thoughts flooded my head I started to get angry and needed to let it out somehow.

I got out of bed and got into some gym clothes and left my room when I got a text, I looked down at my phone and my heart nearly stopped when j saw the name

Leah- hey beautiful, I heard you came donne to north London to find me last night, maybe we could go out for dinner and have a chat later tonight?

Ella - don't call me beautiful! And I will go out with you as it will give you a chance to explain yourself!

I replied and it made me more angry that she was still trying to flirt with me even after she knows what she did.

Guro walked into the living room and looked at me in a weird way and just giggled "what are you laughing at?" I said and she just looked at me and burst out properly laughing "n-nothing... it's it's just that we'll have you seen what you are wearing?" I looked down at my outfit and had clearly forgotten to get properly changed I was still wearing my dressing gown and bed top yet I had changed into shorts and trainers and my hair was up in a bun with my AirPods in.

"Oh oops must have gotten so carried away with the idea of going to the gym that I forgot to change properly." I said no giggling at how stupid I was. I went to get changed but realised it would be too late to go to the gym as I would have to leave for training in about five m'unîtes anyway so I got into mg training gear and got ready to leave.

Guro and j were in the car listening to music when she switched it off randomly "hey what was that for? Put it back on!" I said like a child who wasn't getting their way. It wasn't like I could just turn on the raidit again as I was driving and I didn't want to get distracted from the road.

"We need to talk," she started to say and I started to worry "it's never good when people say that," I said and she looked at me. " I'm serious!" She said and I glanced at her "ok, ok, continue please," I said "ok well I just want to check that you are actually ok because what you got told today isn't exactly easy news," she said and I smiled at her "I'm ok, I promise" I said in a light calm voice
