Maybe I do.

Alessia's POV:

I was so excited to finally experience the Lionesses training for myself. Ella and I walked hand in hand behind Beth and Leah, looking at each other in unison with the biggest smiles on our faces. I couldn't help but admire Leah the whole way to training though. I never thought i'd ever say something like this, but she is the definition of perfect. Anyway, because we all arrived at the same time to the pitch, Sarina put me, Beth, Leah and Ella in a group to do defending and shooting drills. It was the most fun training experience i'd had in forever, full of laughter, smiles and passion. I was having the best time, and as I was attempting to shoot into the goal, I fell onto the floor underneath no other than Leah Williamson who had just done the dirtiest tackle on me. I heard Ella and Beth fall to the ground laughing hysterically, but Leah was surprisingly concerned.

Leah: "Oh shit, I didn't hurt you, did I? Alessia, are you okay?" Leah said, from on top of me. She grabbed my face and turned it towards her, until I burst into laughter.

Alessia: "Leah, I'm fine. No Leah Williamson could ever hurt me, you're not strong enough for that" i joked back to her.

Leah: "You scared me, but you're going to regret saying that" she said, getting up and offering me her hand.

I couldn't help but smile over the fact she was so concerned for me; it was kind of cute. It was probably because I was one of the younger ones though, and she was supposed to be in charge and looking after me. The rest of training flew by, before we were all heading back to our rooms for the evening, before dinner at 7.

Ella and I walked ahead back to the room, because Leah stayed for a chat with Sarina to discuss how she was getting on. I went into Ella's room, where we both sat on her bed and spoke for a while. We discussed everything about the new team, how we were enjoying it, and making predictions on who we were going to be playing against in weeks to come. Thats when Ella turned to me.

Ella: "Less, this might seem a surprise to you, but have you noticed how loving Leah is towards you? She proper cares for you, I think she has a soft spot for you" she looked me dead in the eye and smiled a bit.

Alessia: "What? Leah just cares for me. I'm one of the younger girls, she's roomed with me and she's just taking me under her wing. You know I'm not into girls, and Leah definitely knows that too. I've never dated a girl and I probably never will. You're reading into it too much" I replied, honestly.

Ella shrugged. "Well, I'm not blind Less. Think what you want but if she makes it clear she has any feelings for you, you have to tell her you aren't into girls."

Alessia: "It won't get to that. She just cares. Shes like big sister. Now be quiet and let me kick your ass in Fifa until we have to go down to dinner."

And just like that, Ella and I were screaming at the TV, pushing each other and attempting to win a game of Fifa. Although i thought i was distracted, I couldn't help but think about what Ella had said. Am i stupid?

Leah's POV:

I had just had a chat with Sarina and Beth about how I was getting on, on my first day of officially being captain. Beth showed her support, and told Sarina she'd made the best decision ever, to which Sarina agreed. We collectively spoke about each teammate in detail, and how they were each getting on in training in general.

Sarina: "Lastly, how do you think young Alessia Russo is doing, Leah?" she questioned me. I paused for a minute, before a genuine smile appeared on my face.

Leah: "I think she's absolutely great. We get on incredibly well, she works hard, and even though I did a dirty tackle on her earlier she jumped straight back up ready for round two. She's an incredible player Sarina, I'm sure Beth can agree. She's such an asset to the team, as is Tooney." I said, then i looked at Beth who just nodded, but clearly in support.

Sarina: "Thats amazing to hear, I'll make sure to pass that on to the coaches, as well as Alessia. I'm glad you're all getting on well, that's all I ever wanted. Now go wash that mud off of your face!" she laughed at me, before walking towards the other coaches.

As Beth and I were walking away, she turned to me and smiled.

Beth: "You think a lot of young Alessia, don't you Le?" she asked me, smiling.

Leah: "Of course I do. Why wouldn't I?"

Beth: "You think a lot of her, its slightly cute. I'm not dumb, you definitely have a little crush going on. Don't you dare even deny it, I've known you for ten years and I've never seen your eyes light up like that when you talk about someone in a long time."

Leah: "Maybe a little... I mean she's an incredible player."

Beth: "Just an incredible player, yeah? Nothing to do with the fact she's slightly shorter than you, blonde with big blue eyes and an infectious smile?" Beth joked. I look at her and smirked slightly. "Maybe that too."
