"Do you see it?" I asked moving the pillow into the living room. "No," my daughter and grandmother shits I'm sync. I lost my good luck bracelet for the second time."It's okay, guys I'm sure I'll find it again," as soon as their words came out my mouth they flop on the couch. "It's snowing, you okay?" My nana asked as she walks behind me.
"Yeah, hey it happened long ago, and he can't hurt me anymore," I said trying to put on a smile. She hugs me from behind and I start to feel her warmth.
"I know how much you hate the snow, that's too good he dead. May his soul rest-" she cuts herself off trying to look for the words.
"The only good thing I like about that man was his Polynesian family." She said bring me to laugh. "Yeah me too they are trying to gain my trust," I add looking out the window.
"I love that for you, you got this okay," she gives me a soft peck on my cheek as she walks away. This season always made me feel so lonely.
"So, believe this or not but I feel like my phone has been sending me a massage like I keep seeing cabin advertisements everywhere on my phone," I said walking into the kitchen.
"Baby you scada," my nana said in her accent as she open the Oven. "I know but I feel like it will be good for all of us," I smile hoping she would come.
"No," those words wear clear. "No?" I asked making sure I heard her right. "No," my nana said placing the chicken in the oven.
I open the sink and rinsed the rice, "but I'm going to be alone, I found one for a good price," she start speaking in her native language and I know it was time to stop pushing her.

"Do you have everything?" I asked cupcake as she nods her head eagerly. She had Moony the stuffed elephant her late father gave to her. She couldn't sleep without it.
"We're going to have so much fun," she said, picking up her tablet. I miss her forehead as I zip up her jacket. I Open the front door, taking our suitcases in the trunk.
"How far, I'll go ooh," she sings to Moana as I buckle her car seat. She started it over, "sing mommy," she demanded as I laughed.
"I been starting at the edge of the water," I sang as she giggled joining in. "Long as I can remember," we sing in sync having fun.
It's getting dark now and the GPS is acting up. "What the fuck," I hissed in anger. I turned my head back and noticed Autumn was sleeping.
This snowstorm is starting to pick up heavy and the GPS keeps switching navigations. "What the hell," I shouted when I made a quick turn and noticed a car beeping entering the lane.
Thanksgiving just ended and the snow wants to start acting crazy. The cabin was supposed to be an hour's drive but it's been an hour and my gas is running low.
"No, no, no, no," I shout as my phone completely shuts off when it was fully charged. The GPS leads us to private property.
Autumn starts crying as the heavy snowstorm hits us. "Hold on baby, I'm going to look for a place we can stay," I reassured her. She was heavy and so was the suitcase and backpack I was holding.
After a mile walk, we stop at this luxury cabin in the woods. Fear takes over my body but I have a daughter that needs a place to rest her head. I knock on the door with all my strength.
I hear a shotgun behind my head as I turn I see someone in heavy all black winter clothes. The snow hitting my face made it hard to see.
"I'm sorry to bother you but my daughter and I need a place to stay for the night, we will be out your hair by the morning I promise." My words were sincere.
He walks past me not saying anything but opening the front door. "It's okay cupcake," I said setting in the cabin.
My mouth dropped I was in my boss's cabin. He stares at me as he removes his jacket and black beanie hat. This man was stunning. He even cut his hair it was short on both sides and his wavy hair rest on his forehead.
"Are you going to kill me?" I asked as panic takes over my face and tone. "Not today," his tone was cruel as so were his eyes.
"Relax it's a joke, I don't even know why I tried I've never been good at that," he confused as he puts the shut gun down.
Theirs no way I'm stuck in a heavy snowstorm with him out of all people.
"Mr.meaniepants," Autumn beams as she jumps out of my hand to run over to him. "Hey," she said, waving her hands. I couldn't place what it was to him that made him different.
"Hi," he said carelessly. It was as if human interaction was foreign to him. "Autumn, come back here and stay by me all time okay," I said, reaching my hand out as she walked over to me.
I don't know this man, and now I'm in a house with him and my daughter together.
