November is so beautiful. But waking up in this cold weather wasn't so beautiful. I love working in PICU, leaving the emergency department was sad.
But to my track record, and experience with critical care and fast paced urgent care I was able to move leaves.
This mean we deal with the most critical kids that need the most help. Some can be post-oops, going into surgeries or children born with significant cardiac anomalies and more.
"Hi baby Adam," I said beaming as I enter the room. He was a safe haven baby. He was dropped off last week and I quickly felled in love with his strength.
"Look at my little fighter, yeah you are," I said, talking in my baby voice. The nurse said he struggled with sleeping all of last night.
"You missed me is that why you stoped crying little man?" I said checking his vitals. I quickly change his IV tube as I change his diaper as well.
"Hey Joey,"I said waving at the hospital custodian he's new here as well. "How's you liking it so far?" I asked throwing the diper away.
"Everyone here is sweet, but not sweet as you," he said giving me a friendly wink. He was old and friendly.
"How's the little one doing today?" He asked changing the garbage bag. "He's doing okay but he's a fighter I know, right little man," I said throwing away my glows as I looks at Adam.

"Summer Falls," Dr.Deluca said stepping next to me as we walk alone in the hallways. "Dr.Deluca what do I own this pleasure?" I asked looking up at him.
He was tall, but the blue eye devil was way taller, I'm sure he had to be six'five. He was a tree with those broad shoulders and five thousand dollars suits.
"Did you think about the offer?" He asked. "I did and I'll say it's a yes," I said opening the door to the supply closet.
"Okay then, I'll pick you up at eight," he said with a wide smile. "Okay then, I better get back to work," he adds on as he walks away.

"It's a date," my nana said looking at me with a smile. "Don't say that, it's bad luck every time I go on a date something bad happens," I reminded her as she rolls her eyes.
I'm still thinking about that Skeleton ski mask guy, another guy I promise to not give my attention to. Maybe he would look good in orange behind bars.
"Good thing I'm not dating you," Mayra adds on as she zips my dress up. "Girl please you wish, you know how many guys would die to date me," I said doing a body roll as I stick my tongue out bitting it.
"Ooh they're dying alright," Mayra said walking away as my grandmother laughed. I rolled my eyes as I looked at myself.
The brown silk dress was a shimmery brown bronzer, the top was a white corset with gold stones to top off the dress, the high split on my right thigh. My hair was in a bun.
"AllahumaBarik, you're so gorgeous," Mayra said as her eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. "Stop it really?" I asked as she nods her head smiling. "His here," my nana said in a dry tone as if she was unimpressed by his apprace. I exchange eye contact with her as she gives me a knowing look.
I quickly strap my heels on as I open Autumn room to kiss her head. I never and I mean did I let any man meet my daughter.
"Wow you look beautiful," Dr.Deluca said with a wide smile. "You look handsome as well," I added as he opened the car door for me.
"Well thanks for getting in the door," I said as I settled in my seat. "It's so hard to find you at work. It's like you're everywhere but nowhere for me to find." He said, giving me a quick glance.
"You didn't know?" I asked as he stopped at the light and gave me his attention. His eyebrow raised confusion all over his face.
"I'm famous, duhh that's why I gotta keep a low profile," I said looking in his brown eyes as he laughed at my joke. "I mean of course you are the hostess nurse we have," he says looking at the road as he turns a corner.
"Well thank you," I didn't know what it was about. I felt an ick. Most men will say I'm beautiful and that was just it about me.
My beauty was all it was to me. "Well, that's because I'm transforming again, I love NICU but nurses are needed in PICU." I said looking out the window.
"Well I think you do well with children so I think it's still a great fit, unless you want to stay with a newborn?" He asked as I shook my head.
"Well I'm a single mom so I think I'll do great with the kiddo's as well," I said looking at the road. I quick glanced at him and he was stunning. His dark blue suit brightens his blue tie.
"I'm sure, all the single dad will try to hit on you," his tone meant it as a joke but I'm sure it wasn't. Yup another guy who was going to be useless in my life.
